    Retina Center PA
I have been seeing Dr. M. Vaughn Emerson for 2 years due to Central Retinal Vein Obstruction. I was able to get in the next day when I first had problems, and have been able to schedule at time that is convenient for me for all following appointments. I've had to have a shot in my eye on multiple occasions, and it seems to be working.
The staff is friendly, and willing to explain procedures. Initially, I came in once a month for a shot in my eye, but it's been 4 months since my last shot - hopefully it won't be long before I will no longer require them.

    Minnesota Eye Consultants - Minneapolis
Didn't communicate cost or process. After providing me with same results of same tests done by previous Dr they wanted to charge me $500. Even if I had insurance coverage in my opinion this is not the correct way to do business; leaving it up to the consumer to ask all the right questions and then decide if they need there services.

Office staff was friendly and professional. I was able to get in much more quickly than other retina specialists I'd tried. They did a details scan of my retina, discussed potential causes, treatments, and side effects. I returned the next day for a shot - they are not allowed to keep the medication in their office. I've returned twice for additional shots. My vision improves after each shot. The doctors and staff are all friendly and professional, clearly informing me about my condition, procedures, etc.

    Northwest Opticians
They're pretty professional. I just like the way they took time to explain stuff. In the next visit, I actually had to get prescription reading glasses and get my eye examined and they were really cool with that, too. They get my glasses back when they said they would. They're really nice. The ophthalmologist was really good.

    Health Partners Specialty Care
We connected very well. I had questions about continuing a couple of meds; she answered them. She asked clarifying questions about some of my recent medical issues which led her to order the blood work and DEXA referred to above. I am scheduled for an annual physical in August, and some more immediate interventions depending upon the results of the ordered tests.
I was very impressed by the organization, work flow, and adherance to current standards of practice at Health Partners. (I am a registered pharmacist who has worked in another health care system for my entire career.)

Tani Eye Associates and Clinics Pa
Dr. Douglas has helped me with eyelid concerns and is aware of my multiple sclerosis. He is very familiar with my case, and his receptionist, Marie, readily recognizes me, after all of these years.

Suggested that I try different type of lens.  The never placed order for more than 6 weeks. Then I called to see what happened they ordered then they were not available to adjust and re-order appropriate lenses -- the contact lense system and department is very unfriendly in their systems and personnel, especially at the price they charge for the product and services.  They did refund my money but only after I complained to the office manager vehemently.  I would never suggest you use this location or any St. Paul Eye Clinic location for contact lenses.

    Mayer Optical Shop
Yogi Mayer's professionalism and level of care far exceeds that of any other optometrist I have used over the years. He is meticulous about fitting and about how your glasses will provide you with the best possible vision. I recommended Yogi to my eye doctor, who used his services and now recommends him highly to her patients. Mayer Optical is not the cheapest source for eyewear but I believe that Yogi delivers very well on what you pay for.

I called to make an appointment, one for me and one for my son.  The scheduler was able to make the appointments at relatively the same time.  She was extremely accomodating.   Checking in was quick and we were called for our appointments almost immediately.  The technicians were excellent, explaining what they were doing along the way.  The physician was also thorough and explained what he was seeing along the way.

    Seyller, Dr. Wendy
The name of the doctor was Dr. Wendy Seyller. My experience was good. I made an appointment so I didn’t really have to wait. I had to wait for an appointment for a couple of days. Her bedside manner is great.
