    Craft Concrete and Landscaping
Cole was the only one I called who was willing and able to resurface our steps without the runaround of adding inches of height to them. He provided a great price and a brand new sidewalk that was brought away from the house so rain no longer slides toward the foundation. He was able to slope the sidewalk toward the yard even with old willow roots in the soil. He was also accomodating by letting me add a PVC pipe underneath the sidewalk to bring over a water drip line and low voltage wires to the other side.

    Letendre Concrete & Design INC
In a timely fashion, [mid July 2019] Shawn came to our home to view the potential job. He was polite and professional. Months later, we have NEVER heard from him. He has not provided a quote nor contacted us to inform us what has caused the delay. This is no way to run a business - communication is vital. We are disappointed in Letendre Concrete work ethic. We will not request his services again.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY 4 months after work completed the apron cracked and sidewalk cracked and pulled away from stoop. After repeated phone calls to the Owner and President who wouldn't return calls he refuses to work with us on replacement and/or repair. Says the cracks are because of the Minnesota winter. His business is in Minnesota you would think his company knows how to accommodate the winters in his own state and do the work correctly. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Rescue Me Remodeling and Concrete LLC
I have hired Jesse for several jobs over past couple years, hes always on time, friendly and honest about the work needing to be done to get the result I want, as well as being knowledgeable about possible hidden costs that may come up over the course of a project. I had gotten cheaper bids on some of the earlier projects but I learned a few years ago you get what you pay for and any issues or concerns I had on a project with Jesse he was quick to address them to my satisfaction. He's the first call I make for projects.

    A. DeTomaso Construction LLC
In 2017 I took estimates for the possibility of doing a garage rebuild/bathroom addition. While the garage project did not happen, I did decide to do just the bathroom addition, I reached back out to Ron for an estimate to the revised project, based on a number of reasons. The project did take all of the summer, mostly due to an issue with the tub I have chosen not meeting the city inspector's criteria, and the new tub (MAXX Kashmir) had a lead time of several weeks. The site manager, Wes, was indeed, as promised "my best friend" all summer long. Both Ron and Wes listened well to any of my concerns, and as unexpected things came up (there was not a foundation for part of the area where we expected one to be in the original plan.... the plumber that was originally planned to be used had an accident that prohibited him doing that part of the job), I felt things were very well communicated and appropriately managed. I was also impressed with the main carpenter/builder, Wayne. He took extra care to period matching things like trim and the like (more so than I had considered), and was careful with his work. I added the siding to the addition project (which also lengthened the summer timeline), as it was a project that I was planning to do if I ever plan to sell the place, and the timing to get it done seemed right. And, while the timeline for that part of the project did not meet my expectation, the crew was very mindful of the details and did excellent work (the house was built in 1900, and the project involved removing stucco that had been installed over another layer of exterior siding, and there were some under-repairs needed). My end-feeling was glad to have the work done right instead of fast, dirty, and cheap. Today, several months after the final inspection, I am very happy with the whole experience.

Wayne Construction Co Inc dba Wayne Concrete
I hired Mike Knajdek of Wayne Construction in July 2017 to replace my front steps and a small section of the adjacent sidewalk. Unfortunately, he delayed the job until mid November. They poured the concrete in below freezing weather, and allowed it to dry under tarps that were touching the surface of the wet cement. The results are white stripes and blotches on the surface of the finished concrete. For six months, all inquiries to the owner Mike Knajdek, were answered by his wife Bonnie, who had never been to the job site and never even seen the questionable work in person. Now, six months later, after receiving my complaint from the BBB, Mr. Knajdek finally did return to look at the steps. But he admits no fault, he claims the cause of the streaks and blotches is simply "Minnesota weather". Three other contractors I have spoken to disagree. I am told that the cause of the damage was the fact that Mr. Knajdek allowed tarps to lie directly on the surface of the cement in below freezing weather. I am told this could have been prevented by simply propping the tarps up a few inches. Mr. Knajdek and I have failed to settle the dispute through the BBB. And Mr. Knajdek refuses to offer even a partial refund. I am told that the white streaks and blotches may fade over time but will likely never completely go away. Photo #1 shows the project as he left it in November 2017. Photo #2 is how it looks today.

    Hardline Concrete & Masonry
Hardline removed all of the bad concrete added structure to the house to firm everything up and then re coated the whole house in a day and a half. It looks great! They were on time, easy to work with, went above and beyond what was written in the contract, and made sure we were happy the whole way. Easily the best home improvement experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend Hardline for any concrete work.

    Metro Concrete Raising Inc
Went well enough but they gave us no notice and there was some scrambling to get cars out of garages, etc. Very quickly done. They wouldn't have given home owners follow-up info if we hadn't asked...when it would be okay to drive over the concrete, etc. The work looks very good, as well as turf repair from equipment, but we will see how it all fares this winter.

    MARKFORT CONCRETE
Jerry and crew tore out the old driveway, disposed of the refuse and prepped the area on the first day followed by pouring the concrete on the second day. The whole process went without a hitch and Jerry kept us apprised as to every aspect of the project. In seemingly no time at all we have a beautiful, flawless driveway. They are hard, thorough workers who get the job done in a timely fashion and are proud of their work. The site was left clean upon completion. On time, on budget with flawless results by people who really know what they are doing.

    Lowell Russell Concrete
The day went well. Cement truck drove up to house and put the chute through a an egress window and wheelbarrowed the cement into the back of the basement through to the main family room. the leveling of the cement and the reconstruction of the two step staircase went really well. The cement dried for a week when the crew came back to cut the design into the cement, there were a few cracks (that was told, due to the cement thickness, and agreed upon prior to starting work) but incorporated the cracks and added to the character of the basement. I was impressed with the speed and workmanship - I would hire again for other cement work.
