Christian from Northrup Roofing & Remodeling inspected the vent and determined it was working correctly but the microwave blower motor wasn't producing enough air flow. BNorthrup Remodeling, Roofing & ExteriorsWe live in a 100 year old house. The rafters in our original roof broke and we had a mess. We wanted to repair the structure and re-roof with metal because it's lighter. I went around our neighborhood and talked to 5 neighbors that had metals roofs and eventually landed on Northrup. However, it didn't go well. They did the repair right away, but it sat there, naked, for weeks. I had to hound them - I think because they were waiting on a subcontractor maybe. Finally, they came and did it on a weekend. Fast forward one year - some of the trim didn't get done near the dormer and the little roof over the front door. Mark White came out and fixed it immediately. Fast forward another year, discovered the top-level bathroom fan didn't get vented. HOWEVER!!!! Mark White busted his butt to make it right. The employee that managed the project is no longer there, but Mark really worked at making sure we were happy. I have to give Mark credit for tolerating my nagging and being not-so-happy with all the issues, yet making sure everything was corrected. The work and repairs were top shelf once everything got done. I'm not sure I would hire again after all this. I suspect it had something to do with the previous employee. Maybe there are new project managers now that are more on top of things.- Sally D.

He was professional, friendly and extremely dedicated to my roofing project. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and respectful of my home. Patrick Miller Construction is a family owned and run company and it shows! My project didn't feel like just another project. I was treated like family. They went above and beyond. The communication was stellar from beginning to end. They made sure that everything was perfect and accommodated a last minute change to my roofing needs. I can't say enough about the service I received. My roof looks amazing . They cleaned every nail out of my yard making sure my dogs were safe. All Covid protocols were followed to make sure I was safe and sound. The follow up was amazing. Every person (including the owner and his son) that I met during this project was a joy to work with! APatrick Miller Construction IncI was referred to Patrick Miller Construction by an acquaintance of mine. She had positive experience, and I would echo that I too had a positive experience especially since I have never undergone any type of renovation such as this one in my life. I will say that Patrick Miller Construction prides itself on customer service and transparency. They contract with professional crews who are timely and efficient. Dave Moshu, our sales rep, was extremely patient and attentive as we worked through the selection of colors and materials. He was always present as we moved through each new phase of the project. I feel like I met the entire Patrick Miller staff either in person or by telephone as they kept me informed as we completed a phase and prepared for the next phase. Patrick, the owner, even helped me with the door selection, and Deb was extremely apologetic when the siding was delayed due to the pandemic and their supplier. Scheduling was timely, and other than the delay in the siding supplies (due to the supplier and the pandemic, not Patrick Miller), the work for each project was completed in a timely fashion. I would definitely work with Patrick Miller again as we think about our future exterior projects (pergola) and can confidently recommend them to others.- Theresa A.

AJessica is very professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. She gave me great ideas on how to build the shop so it matched my house roof line. Matched my shingles and siding perfectly. Very pleased with the finished product. Chad and Gerard worked very hard and I could tell very quickly they knew what they were doing. Good craftsmen and I knew I made the right call hiring The Shed Shop. I work in Quality Control so I know how to inspect. I found no complaints which says a lot to me. The guys cleaned up each day and when all done not a single nail, shingle, or sliver of wood found laying in the job site. Jessica and her team are very good and I highly recommend them for a garage, shed, or whatever. Price- very reasonable! Thank you.

DIt didn't. Though Scott came out quickly to review the space to make his bid, the actual bid took many weeks. Then I never heard from him again, even after I signed the agreement. I sent several emails. Nothing. I waited all summer for a project that never happened.

AMy Lang VinZant representative, Ron Fry, was super service-oriented. He was extremely communicative throughout the project, and built confidence by being at my home (always Covid-19 safe) to personally ensure the materials, dumpster and crew were in place for the job. In addition, Ken VinZant came by to ensure the work was done to my satisfaction. Ken even replaced a gutter pipe, damaged during the job (so quickly, without fuss). Very impressive! I would use Lang VinZant again. My wife and I are very particular. We were completely satisfied with Lang VinZant, their representative, Ron Fry, and the great work they did.

AWe have been working with Steve and Emily for almost 2 years. We started by purchasing a lot in a development that Schmidt Construction was building. From the start Steve and Emily were very responsive and helpful with the design of our custom dream home. They both answered texts and phone calls within minutes and always had the answers we needed. I am in construction myself, I know that things can go wrong sometimes, but I can honestly say that nothing did. Timelines were right on track, if there was a change in price everything was discussed before hand, if we wanted something changed it was changed. If you are building a home or remodeling your home, it would be a good idea to call Schmidt. Highly recommend!

AWe engaged Backstrom Remodeling for the complete remodel of our first floor, which included: - new kitchen - taking down walls - removing popcorn ceiling - all new flooring - new trim - new windows - multiple design adds and changes We absolutely love the result and wouldn't change a thing. Even though we went WAY over our original budget, it was because my husband and I made additions and changes throughout the project and we are SO happy that we did. Bryan would say, "I'll do whatever you want!" and then give us the cost impact so we could make an informed decision as to whether to proceed. He is meticulous in his craftsmanship and makes sure it's done right. One of the best things is his communication--I work from home and I'm a freak of a planner, so it was important to me to know what work was scheduled for the next couple of days. It was also important to me that the guys he brought into my home were polite and professional, and that I felt safe with them there. Hands down a fantastic team. After hearing horror stories from friends and families about contractors gone bad, it was a relief to work with Bryan--he offers great ideas, is very knowledgeable, fair, works hard, and is fun to be around. We are already hoping to have Bryan do our Phase 2 (upstairs), Phase 3 (bathrooms), and Phase 4 (deck)!

My company moves garages up to 16 feet wide from one location to another, distance is not a problem. We remove your one car garage prior to construction of a new two car. We also sell and deliver the one car garages we remove prior to construction. If your garage slab is cracked, settled or deteriorated we do on site remove and replace of any garage up to 24 feet wide. If your garage is leaning we straighten it up and install up to code bracing.

DWe brought the company out to look at the space. He was pleasant and seemed very knowledgeable about the space. He promised a rough estimate by the end of the day. He never submitted anything, even after we followed up asking. On the followup,, he apologized and said it would be that day. Again, nothing- so we gave up and signed our $30k+ project to a different company. We still have not heard a peep from him weeks later. Super unprofessional.
