Was the lead subcontractor on a bathroom remodel job and handled all the general contracting/construction responsibilities.

Luke Therrien, owner of Cuzzin Construction, is the finest contractor we've ever worked with. He treats your house and job like it is his own. He is an expert who not only is a great leader of a construction team, but also loves to get his hands dirty. He is creative and a problem solver and is not thrown by any unexpected problem that he encounters. Above all, he is the consummate professional and a nice and kind person who is extremely conscientious about his work. Not only did the end product look perfect, but also he made little touches (for example, scrubbing certain areas of grout so they matched the rest of the bathroom and just were white and shiny) and was extremely careful in cleaning up every night before he left so that you'd never know there was construction going on in your house. We wholeheartedly recommend him.

He replaced part of our roof, tore out paneling to install insulation materials, and replaced the paneling.

I can't argue with the quality of his work. However, I found him to be very unprofessional in his business dealings. For example, on more than one occasion he scheduled a day to come and didn't show up or call. He did not finish the work, saying that he had just contracted for a big job and wouldn't have time for us. In short, I don't feel we can trust him to meet his commitments and would strongly recommend against using him.

[Member Name Removed] knows I did a good job that’s why he gave me an A grade for workmanship. I completed everything [Member Name Removed] paid me for too 100%. The only thing [Member Name Removed] wanted to hire me to finish was installing the base/window finish trim after he painted the dormer. This was a very small part of the job. The miss communications came 10 weeks later after [Member Name Removed] painted the 6‘x8’ dormer he called me and said he was ready to have me install the finish trim. I told him I was busy at the time framing a big house, was on a tight schedule and I would try to squeeze him in. A couple weeks later I emailed [Member Name Removed]saying I might be able to make it Friday are Monday. Yes I didn’t make it and [Member Name Removed]called me, he was upset. I don’t think he understood the “might” part of the email. So after discussing my schedule with [Member Name Removed] he decided to part ways. I never said anything about not having time for him are not being able to finish his job. He didn’t have the patients to wait for me to finish the job I was working on at the time
