ASadly, due to the current global pandemic, the actual travel never happened. Andre, however was great to work with, and took the time to figure out what we needed for our complicated, multi-generational trip. She was just as great to work with when we needed to re-book and then ultimately cancel our plans. We will definitely be reaching out when we're finally ready to make the trip!

AGittelson Jewelers has been my family jewelers for years. They helped me with diamond rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, watch batteries and all of our jewelry needs. Gene, Mike and Molly are very friendly and work hard to ensure your experience in the store is intimate and personal. They'll also do the best job they can to make sure the price is within your budget. Its a small shop in the Minneapolis skyway, but worth the visit. Shop Local and support small business. These guys have been here 35 years.

AOur party went flawlessly. I originally hired Hire-A-Host because when I put out several inquiries, they responded promptly and answered yes to every question I asked. Their reviews were great, and they were very professional. I hired them to help with our office holiday party, which consisted of about 80 people with a catered meal and open bar. My contact person at HAH, Katie, spent a lot of one-on-one time with me, including an on-site visit to our party venue beforehand (which happened to be the party room of a condo). HAH provided bartenders, decorating, arranging appetizers and desserts (I had already hired my own caterer or they would have done that as well). They arranged delivery and pick-up of rental tables and chairs, as well as tablecloths, champagne glasses, wine glasses, etc. They contacted my caterer and worked with her to ensure all the bases were covered. They coordinated our champagne toast. The decorating was amazing! But the best part was that I was free to enjoy the party - they handled everything. The party went smoothly without a hitch or a glitch. I can't say enough good things about this place! They weren't cheap, but they did work to stay within the budget I provided. I will definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone!

FWe booked Glidden Limousine for our wedding on 6/20/2020. Due to COVID-19, we had to make the very difficult decision to change our wedding plans. Keith was very responsive and nice before we booked and paid in full for our limo services back in December of 2019. However, when we contacted him and politely explained that we had to change our wedding plans, he never responded. I sent him two more emails with no response, then ended up calling him. He said he would only give us 50% of our money back. I've tried emailing and calling the company several times since and have heard absolutely nothing in response. Please do not book this company, they are not honorable people to work with and do not do the right thing. Especially now in COVID times, you want the security of knowing you are working with businesses that will do the right thing and work with you. All of our other vendors were totally awesome, and I have a friend who's limousine company was wonderful when they needed to adjust plans. I will be sending my family, friends and co-workers to that other limo company.

AMilestone Event RentalWe first started of contacting multiple rentals stores to get an idea on what size canopy we would need and pricing. Milestone Event Rental was the first one to respond and sent us an email asking a few questions (Round or Rectangle tables, bar, how many people at the head table, dance floor, dessert and gift table and if the food would be under the tent). My wife responded and next thing we knew we had an option of two different style of canopies (pole tent and frame tent). We chose the frame canopy as if the weather was going to be crappy we would of had the ceremony inside the canopy. But they sent over a drawing showing the layout that made most sense for everything we wanted under the canopy. As the big day got closer we called them to notify them of the final number of guests that we're coming and to adjust the table settings. Once the snow melted Marty had called us to do a site inspection to make sure the canopy would fit and get the utilities marked. ( Never would of thought of that) Marty was flexible with our schedules as we both work during the week and came in the evening on a Thursday. He answered all of our questions gave us flags to mark our invisible dog fence so they wouldn't hit then with their stakes. About 2 weeks prior to the wedding we had a delivery window and they showed up before then. Marty and 2 other workers showed up and in no way did I think that they would have a 30x90 setup in 3 hours, but they did!! Hardest crew we had ever seen before. Before Marty and his hard workers left he ran through some things with us and left us amazed with the customer service and the dedication to their work. We got the canopy on Thursday and we had all day to decorate the canopy on Friday. (They do require that we use no tape on the tops or frame, which at first was kinda weird but after seeing the canopy they care about their products. So we used zip ties and 3M command strips) The wedding was perfect and Monday came around and they came to tear down. We didn't pay for them to setup the tables or chairs and we had them neatly stacked on where we agreed upon during the delivery. The canopy came down in an hour or so and they left the yard in perfect condition. A+ job and me and my wife couldn't be more delighted to refer Milestone Event Rental to any other lucky couple.- Philip F.

AFETE PERFECTIONI don't think we could have done it without Amy's calm professionalism and organization skills. She took charge and kept all of the vendors organized. Our venue was very particular about appointing a clean up crew, and as mother of the bride I was stressed to the max that I would be stuck mopping floors in heels and a ballgown. Amy and her team stepped in to reassure us in advance that she would take care of all the take down and clean up - so I could go home and collapse at midnight.- BUD B.

ARadiant PhotographyWe went to several different locations (at our request). We started in the Peace Gardens, then Lake Harriet, and then checked out the skyline at Lake Calhoun. Darrin (along with his wife Charity) were very friendly and suggested different poses but also allowed us to be ourselves and try things out. It was fun and we were very lucky to have a beautiful day. Darrin has a great eye for framing pictures and would suggest different placements. Once we got our pictures back, we realized how right he was. He posted all of our pictures on his website so that we can peruse them and show them off to our friends and family. There are several that we are going to order and print and also use for our Christmas cards. We will also be using Radiant Photography for our wedding this upcoming spring...and now that I've seen our engagement pictures I am quite confident that I will be happy about the results.- Emily F.

AFAB WEDDINGS ON A BUDGETThe officiant, Kate Gregory, was excellent to work with before the wedding for a few sessions of premarital counseling. She was easy to talk to, was flexible, and calm. I selected all parts of my script using their website (AND inserting my own readings I found elsewhere) and Kate easily followed my script and adjusted to the ceremony plan as needed. $360 spent for wedding day officiant + about 5hrs of premarital counseling (no rehearsal). Only things that didn't go smoothly with the ceremony was the song choices I lined up and put on memory card - They didn't read correctly and Kate's backup was used, and due to the last minute change our closing song was wrong (but still a good song). Or photographer, Cindy Bia, also did a great job of adapting to the changing weather of our outdoor wedding. She started shooting inside right away with the surroundings and people we had. She was aggressive at getting the shots, yet polite and so we got tons of good photos we love. She did need a person around to help gather people when needed (no helper). We got 5 hrs of photography on our wedding day, 2 cds of all the photos, and 4 8x10s of our favorite shots for $1050 and this seemed comparable to others in the area, and definitely a worthwhile value.- Brenda A.

ANorthland Special EventsWow! The day was perfect. This was not the first marriage for either of us, and we are in our 60's. Everything about our wedding was truly and quot;usand quot;. Many of our guests -25 in all- told us it was one of the most beautiful weddings they'd ever attended.
