    We used this company a few years back and had a great experience so when we moved last month we decided naturally to use again. So disappointed this time! This crew did well the first day and suggested we tip. That was offputting but okay. While they were at my house the business office called about a security deposit. It felt like they didn't communicate at all. The second day of our move was ridiculous. They showed up 2 hours before agreed upon time. We were at our closing on the other side of the cities and had to get someone to open the garage and house for them. When we finally arrived home the guys were pissy towards us when we expressed frustration and blamed the business office. They wouldn't leave until we signed the form. We attempted to call Bill Apple who did not return our call. Three days later I get an email asking for a review and i responded we were not contacted back about our concerns. When he finally called back (4 days after our initial call) he responded that his men left early and we would get a $75 refund. Several weeks later we still haven't received it. I have reached out to be told that it takes quite a bit of time. Really??? They were able to charge us immediately but it takes over a month for a refund??? Ridiculous! We still haven't received it. In addition to that, our concerns about length of time and care of our stuff were dismissed by Bill. We filed claim on 6 items as well and haven't heard a word. I'm so disappointed. I normally don't write reviews but this was a stressful event and we still don't have it resolved!

    Quality Moving & Storage Of Edina & Hudson
    They were great. They were quick, the guys were well coordinated and worked well together, they communicated with one another and they treated the furniture well. They dropped our safe in the driveway and they were honest about it. It wasn't a big deal but they took some money off.

    Good Stuff Moving
    I will apologize for taking so long to complete the review....My wife called 3 moving companies looking for bids.  When she spoke with good stuff it was apparent she was speaking to a company that was good at what they do, and was personable and friendly.  Good stuff's estimator (I apologize I do not recall his name)  came out to our old house and discussed how they handle a move.  We walked through the house and the Representative estimated how many boxes we needed per room and discussed cost saving techniques for moving day as we went thru the house.  Based on his estimate he figured we would need 2 trucks and 6 workers.   The other company's my wife called either stated they were booked when we wanted to move, (we appreciated the honesty) and the second company was vague on how much it would cost and did not seem like he was overly interested in coming out for a bid telling my wife an hourly cost on moving day.  (my wife was not impressed) 
    We booked Good Stuff and had them deliver boxes.  We packed everything and were ready on the day of the move.  The first Good Stuff truck showed up about 15 minutes early on moving day and was ready to work!  We explained our packing madness and off they went.  Due to the morning light rain, tarps were put down minimizing any mess.  We went to the closing on the new house and returned a couple hours later.  They were very close to closing the trucks to head to the new house.  We were in our house almost 20 years and there were a lot of boxes for them to move!
    Since these guys were working so hard and it was fairly muggy out when the rain stopped, we supplied  the guys with water and sports drinks.  We never located an empty bottle outside of the recycling bin.  When we got to the new house we had Pizza delivered for lunch as a thank you.  After a 15 minute break and 2 pizzas later, the crew went back to work.  All I needed to do was tell them where to put boxes.  Throughout the entire process the crew had fun and kept up a great working pace.  It was obvious the guys liked what they were doing and who they were working with.  Clean up at both houses was minimal due to their putting tarps down and the sticky plastic on the stairs in the new house. 
    One of the boxes I packed and taped gave out and a bowl was broken.  It was immediately brought to my attention (apologetically) and the guy explained what happened.  Seeing it was my fault I thanked him for speaking up right away and I took care of the broken bowl.  Integrity is a nice plus!
    Fast forward a month, I delivered all the unpacked boxes back to Good Stuff and again was met with super personable people and service.  Good stuff completed in about 7 hours what would have taken me and several friends the better part of a weekend to do.   I was appreciative of the service and personality of the crew that completed the work. 
    I will strongly encourage everyone I know who will be moving to call Good Stuff and save the hassles and let the Pro's make it easier!  In the grand scheme of things, the expense of renting a truck, paying mileage and feeding friends makes the cost of Good Stuff very reasonable.  Now add in the fact that Pro's are gonna use just as much care as your friends, and get the job done in minimal time, and the lack of so much moving stress, they are priceless!

    Robinson Moving Systems
    It went great! I rented a truck and Robinson Moving provided the muscle. I can't remember the names of the two movers but they were very professional and did a great job. They were careful not to damage any of my items during the loading and unloading process. They were speedy throughout the entire process which I appreciated since I was paying by the hour. I didn't get a large enough truck for all my things and the movers offered to put some of my items in their pick-up truck when they followed me to my new place. This was a tremendous help!
    Unfortunately for me I am moving again this June and because Robinson Movers did such a great job I plan on hiring them again. Only wish I could remember the names of the two movers as I would request them again.

    Help U Pack and move was a great service. Marty answered his phone every time that I called him. We were moving the next week and were happy to hear that they would be available. When we found out that we would not be able to move into our house when we expected(foreclosure), Marty allowed us to store our items on the truck for a week for a reasonable rate. The moving crews were outstanding and worked at a quick pace. I was disappointed that a few of our items had minor damage and I guess the movers actually dropped our couch. I was not aware of this, but there was only very minor damage to the couch. With this being said, I would still highly recommend this company.

    I hired these guys to move several pieces of furniture, (much of it large & HEAVY), from 5 different locations in the Twin Cities area to our home in Hastings.  We found them on Angie?s List & used the $89 for 2 hours deal.  They showed up within 10 min. of the scheduled start time & got right to work.  Isaac & Matt were our movers & I?m pretty sure they are super-human. :) These guys muscled some massive pieces of furniture up flights of stairs, around tight corners, & all on their own ? no furniture dolly required.  They padded all the large wooden pieces & wrapped the upholstered sofa.  Total time to move a bedroom set, sofa & chaise, dining set, large armoire & (yet another) bedroom armoire with night stands was 5.5 hours ? total of about 80 miles & plenty of stairs involved.  There is an $85 destination charge for every move, which we knew about, & we paid the $95/hour rate for everything above the 2 hours covered by the AL deal.  This is a pretty good deal compared to hourly rates from other movers we checked out in the past.  We will use these guys again & recommend them for anyone needing movers for any size job.  Thanks guys!  Hope you enjoyed the Subs.  :)

    Two Men and a Truck
    I was very disappointed when they pursued a tip because they had handled my furniture with care and I felt that was their responsibility in the first place. They did a good job but it really turned me off when they had a tip at the bottom of their page. It wasn’t horribly expensive but it wasn’t really cheap either but the tip because they took care of our furniture was a little disheartening.

    Modern Movers
    The mover did a reasonable job of moving most goods. However,
    • .Bleach soaked goods - a loss
    • Lawn mover - relatively new, was too screwed up after mover "serviced" it, it wouldn't cut grass - had to have engine serviced.
    • Laser printer - multi-tasker "service" person  couldn't get this fixed either.
    • Offered $100 as total compensation, though out of pocket costs for correcting are several times that. Company was called several times, and visited personally once, but no corrective response.

    The mover was selected by the home renovator, who assured us that our goods would be fully insured. Apparently the mover does not feel obligated to return the goods in original condition, though being compensated for moving, and storage,   The mover "service" people apparently attempt to "service" items from, lawn mowers, to fans, to printers - quite a range of expertise, if they could actually fix the stuff.

    We have used  reliable movers, usually long distance, more than half a dozen times, and theis mover  holds a singular position at the bottom of the customer service function - and they could so easily have rated a satisfactory score with a couple hundred more  dollars to compromise on a more fair solution.  I would not trust them again.

    Good Stuff Moving
    They are very good. They have already moved few loads for me. They are very helpful. I am paying a lot of money but they are doing a good job. The person that comes makes sure he follows what I say. He makes sure everything went fine. The people that came were very courteous and caused no damage. The quality of work they did was very good. They kept following up every time, and they got back to me within 24 hours. They were punctual. They are very professional and good to work with. I recommend them to anybody who is moving. They even helped me with small jobs.
