     I read many of the reviews on Angies List and decided   Robillard Plumbing was the one plumber I wanted to hire.  (We have had continual bad luck with previous plumbers over past 20 years - something always leaked later)

     He was very detailed on his first visit to determine an estimate, making certain that he would have the correct parts & what it would cost'.. As we walked thru the basement I mentioned to him my concern about our sump pump/drain tile.  He suggested that he could install a new system which involved two pumps, an alarm system and a BIG battery backup power. (this system was $1600 of the total bill) 

     He set aside a whole day to repair, replace, install all plumbing that needed to be done. (It took almost 10 hours)  He obtained the new bathroom faucets from his supplier to match up with what was already in place.  Doing it this way saved us money and made for an easier replacement. Very happy with what he picked out.  He was very good at explaining different options and answering questions as he worked. He left everything neat and clean when he was done. It's been almost a year since everything was fixed and replaced - and it is  all  good!  It is so good to have everything working right and not leaking!

      I am so glad that he installed this sump pump system. This is way more than what you could buy in a home improvement store.  There has always been a concern about our power going out during a bad storm, or days of rain  or the sump pump failing. (all this has happened at one time or another)  Now we have all those circumstances covered..

    We will definitely use his services in the future and highly recommend him for  any plumbing needs. His pricing is very  reasonable.

    I discovered my dryer was not working on a Wednesday evening after doing a load of laundry. The heat was not working on the dryer. The following morning, I immediately started contacting appliance repair businesses to schedule a repair. Based on Angie's list ratings, I attempted to contact a company that was highly rated. That company had no available dates for over a week which I thought was ridiculous, so I continued down the list and contacted Appliance Care.
    I left a message and Mark contacted me within a half hour. Mark was very professional and indicated that Appliance Care was available to schedule an appointment on this same day during the noon hour. Approximately two hours later, Chris with Appliance Care arrived and immediately began working on my dryer. Chris did a complete diagnostic check and replaced the part that had failed. Chris was very professional and did a great job.
    Considering one company had told me it would be a week before they could get out to my house, I was extremely impressed that Appliance Care took care of the problem on the same day I called. Before Appliance Care had arrived, I had done my own research on replacement parts anticipating how much the repair might cost. Based on my final invoice and the part listed to repair my dryer, I believe I was overcharged approximately $20.00 for the part. In addition, the service charge to repair the dryer was $120.00 which I thought was on the high end, but overall, I was very happy with their service and the fact it was fixed immediately.

    Our 7 year old refrigerator totally failed after leaking last week. Another company came and said it was leaking because the doors were not shutting tightly. It was actually leaking because the compressor was failing and today it ended up with no cooling capacity. I called Appliance Care and 1.5 hours later a competent, friendly tech was at my house. He diagnosed the problem as a burned out relay and fixed it quickly. He also told me that to get a new compressor would cost $800 and that we could get a new fridge of equal quality for about $1300. THIS COMPANY IS AWESOME!

    Gary called me back within an hour or two - (on a Sunday!) which was so very appreciated because I then could make the arrangements necessary to be at home when he needed me to be there without it being at the very last minute. He asked for some basic info over the phone and scheduled to come out between 2 and 4:00 on Monday (the next day). Gary showed up well within that timeframe. He quickly got to work and found bad news for us. He explained the situation and made the decision that a new washer would be our best option. I asked him for his opinion and he provided me with some good information to go shopping. I'm not happy about having to replace our washer but that's not at all Gary's fault and I appreciated his explanations and what I felt was an honest assessment of the situation. He was very pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to have him come again.
