AJBS Builders LLCThe 30 by 52 new garage turned out beautiful. JBS Builders are very nice contractors to work with. Very accommodating and acceptable to changes in the construction phase. Finished all the inside of building too. Had bathroom with shower and bedrooms upstairs. Finished with knotty Pine on family area of garage. Main part of garage finished with metal walls.- judy l.

ASisu Builders LLCSISU Builders responded quickly to our request by visiting our home and providing a written quote within a couple days. SISU Builders showed up to do the work when they said they would and worked long hours to make sure our home was sealed to the elements. They did quality work, cleaned up the site and best of all, the final bill came in under the estimate. We would hire SISU Builders again.- Chuck F.

He hired equally professional subs and supervised them closely. He worked with us to get all the details just right. New friends step into our home today and are to a person impressed by the quality of workmanship and by the beauty of our home. ADuluth Shed CoOwen began the work building my shed on the day we agreed upon. He was well organized and brought all the materials he needed with him. He was timely and easy to work with. He clearly knew what he was doing, he worked steadily and took the time to answer my questions. Owen also performed some extra building related services like re-screening some windows, installing five windows that I had refinished, and adding extra caulk where needed. The building is level, very well constructed with top-of-the- line materials (including architectural roofing tiles). Owen was willing to provide some extra materials and touches to the building that were not in the original plan at no extra charge. I am extremely satisfied with the work he performed and with the end result...a beautiful , useful building constructed to last for many years to come.- Jesse B.

AThis is the second job, John, Daryll, and company have done for us. I like the way they respect our home and take extra steps to keep the job as clean and neat as possible. They have skills that make them perfect for remodel jobs on older homes as well as newer homes. They provide the best "bang for the buck" if you wish to hire pros. And since I myself do not possess the necessary talents to do such fine work, I'm glad they're nearby.

APRO's 1) Returned my call same day as inquiry. 2) Visited my property next day. 3) Called me from my property with quote. 4) Roof was installed two days later. 5) Was willing to take over when another roofing contractor left us high-and-dry. CON's 1) I have to dig deep for a con. The price for labor was higher than we had anticipated, but we needed the roof installed before the first snowstorm hit. We were really happy with the service we received from Mike and we would gladly recommend them to our friends & family.

DWith his equipment (he had a 'bobcat' and a small backhoe) he could not remove the earth around the house (he refused to put his tracks on the bobcat, that possibly would have given him more traction) due to clay compaction of 30 years. Therefore he was adamant that I needed window wells. I told him I did not want them, but that fell on deaf ears. His installation of the styrofoam was very sloppy - with gaps between the sheets and the corners not even overlapping, therefore leaving lots of air space. He also got the sealant on the siding, broke a down spout backet and the end of a rain gutter off. He yanked on the power cables into the house, do not know if he broke the ground cable off, but I had two grounding rods (one for the antenna and for the house) that he never put back into place - leaving these things ungrounded. The day he 'finished' up, I was home in the morning. He ran out of styrofoam sheets while I was home, and was acting like he was mad that I was present. He was determined to put 'foam on the water line into the house, but I said there was no need as it was garden, not walk way. My garage had been opened at times when he was there, and I thought maybe he had seen that I had some old, blue. floam. So, I brought some out , and guess what before I left for work he had some blue and pink 'foam on the lines (they never have frozen in 30 years). (The pink 'foam was what he was putting around the basement. He had cut about 8 inches off each sheet, why I'm not sure, as the walls were 8ft 8 inches high. I needed those pieces to cover the eight inches he left exposed.) When I got home that evening , he had used the blue 'foam to finish the basement. He never got more of the pink!
I paid for the work, with reservations, as I wasn't satisfied witht the work. When I contacted him to re-do what I didn't like about the job, all he would say is that I needed window wells. I took him to small claims, and lost. I realized then, that I need to take him to a jury trial. I do not have the money to do so.
