    HealthPartners Riverside Clinic
I see Dr. Paula Cotruta. I go to see her annually to make sure everything is ok. She works with Polio survivors. She is very thorough, extremely knowledgeable, very caring. Great bedside manners, I am a lucky man to have a Dr like this.

I just think she is approachable. She is non-intimidating. I am always nervous to go to various people just because I feel like they already have their assumptions or something, but she was just easy going as she started conversations and had good questions to calm things and ideas. I think she was just good. She saw us a few times, and I feel like she just helped us get through. She did a great job. I wouldn't say there was anything else that she had to improve on. The service she provided, I would say, was really helpful, and I just think she gives new ideas and new perspectives which are really helpful. We didn’t have any trouble getting schedule in with her. My husband did the billing part, but I didn’t see anything negative with that. I will use her again in the future.

    Linnihan, Dr. Mary E.
She has both excellent evaluation and treatment skills. The office environment is fine, I would say it is average. She is very prompt in returning messages. Warm personality, outgoing, and welcoming would be some of the words I would use.

Our son has a hard time admitting his problems and it makes it challenging to overcome some of his issues. These folks are good about trying to get to the bottom of things and render a solution.

    Woodland Centers
After 10 years of getting service from them, I ended up having to find psychiatric services outside of Woodland Centers. I felt confused, because of the fact that most of what they told me over the past 10 years ultimately proved untrue, and the treatments they provided mostly proved ineffective and/or made my condition worse. I had serious questions as to whether I could put any faith in what they say. I also suffer some Post Traumatic Stress issues because of a series of multiple misdiagnosis I suffered while getting treatment there: Pain I suffered from a kidney stone being misdiagnosed as a pain delusion. Severe liver damage due to mismanagement of my type 2 diabetes when in was first diagnosed at ACMC and I was being treated for my mental illness at W.E.R. (a division of Woodland Centers) in Atwater, MN. Because of this, the fact that I had Diverticulosis went unknown for years until I was treated by Chris Dickenson in Paynesville. An MRSA Staph infection that was misdiagnosed  for years and was finally diagnosed correctly by the Mayo Clinic and took over a year to get rid of because it went untreated for so long. Dr. Mueller first misdiagnosed the seizure activity I was experiencing from various anti-psychotics as akathisia. I was under Civil Commitment at the time, so I was forced to endure the low grade seizures. It was until much later that it was diagnosed correctly as various degrees of seizures and seizure like activity by Dr. Swanson at the Mayo Clinic after I suffered severe seizure and ended up in Rice Hospital. They are also prejudice against people with ADHD and the medications that are available and used to treat it.   Be careful, some of these "non-addictive" medications can be physically addictive. I also developed severe side-effects after taking some of the medications prescribed. Some of them developed six months after I started taking them. I had to go off them and went through some withdrawal. I had to try a variety of different medications before I found the ones that were right for me and did not have side-effect that were intolerable. Some of the side effects I had were a seizure and seizure like activity. Severe depression, suicidal-fixations and thanatophobia. Some produce agitation and confusion and an increase in delusions and create high anxiety. Sometimes these happen within a week of starting the medication, sometimes it started six-months after taking them. Note:  what they call is a low-dose, may not be a lose-dose for your body and mind. I would not recommend going here. It is most likely you would do better somewhere else.
