I used Red Rover Chimney Sweeps.

We had a chimney fire and wanted to know what, if any, damage had been done to the chimney before burning wood again. The owner, Buddy, was genuine, efficient, and has exceptional knowledge of every type of chimney as well as the laws/codes/ordinances involving them. We were extremely pleased with his work and will most certainly use his services again.

Inspected and cleaned one fireplace, one wood-burning stove, two flues and one chimney.

Red Rover came to our lake home on a cold January day to inspect and clean two fireplaces, two flues and one chimney. The owner (Buddy Kasper) was very efficient, friendly, and had a great sense of humor! His younger assistant was very hard-working, and worked quickly and efficiently. January is not the best time of the year to hire a chimney sweep, due to the increased risk of climbing around on a roof. I did pay an extra premium for wanting this work done in January. However, the extra premium was clearly disclosed before I hired Red Rover to do the work. I will call Red Rover in the future for our chimney sweep needs!

Fireplace and chimney inspection and very thorough cleaning.

I spoke to his secretary (I believe it was his wife) in the afternoon and she asked me a few pertinent questions and said he would call me back that evening with an estimate. That evening he called and from the start I could tell he really knew what he was doing and was the man for the job. Not only did he have a lot of experience but he had the customer service to go with it. It is not often that you run into a service professional that is willing to start a job early in order to make it fit the customer's schedule. He arrived right on time, wearing a top hat that my kids could not get enough of, and worked quickly, knowing my tight time schedule. He made every effort to keep things clean with a tarp and shop-vac. He took the time to show me what to look for and be careful of and then he swept the chimney and swept the firebox to make it look just like new. I would not hesitate to use Red Rover Chimney Sweeps again. You will not find a more charming man with a local, family owned and operated business to clean your chimney. Thanks, Buddy.
