  • All I can say is WOW!! These guys are nothing less than awesome!!!! I had to take care of cleaning out my Aunt's personal belongings and, being long distance, was so happy that there's a company out there like Four Sales to complete the task. They were professional, very knowledgeable about values, prompt and very detailed as to how it all takes place. In one day, we were able to label items that could be auctioned, other belongings placed for charitable giving, and then the junk truck came to empty the rest. I would recommend Four Sales to everyone. Thanks again for your great service!!

  • Nothing went well. First of all they are SLOBS. They did not clean up their messes at all. They did the walls on the first day and the attic the second day - so 2 crews. We had to call the first crew back since they left holes in the walls, slapped joint compound everywhere and forgot some walls entirely. Second crew threw the very little bit that was in the attic (we just bought the house so it was empty) in bedrooms. They had been instructed to take it outside but didn't. They pushed AC vents in ceilings down so they were bent crooked in the ceilings. No R value insulation ratings were calculated or checked. Phone calls to owners were never responded to in a timely manner ever. Then to top it all off they claimed to be a Authorized Insulation Contractor and that we would be eligible for a $1500 rebate. They filled out our Minnesota Energy Resources rebate form claiming they were certified insulation specialists. Well the rebate came back to us rejected because they are NOT an Authorized Insulation Contractor. They are not even BPI certified which is an initial requirement in becoming authorized. It is our opinion they are a slimy scam insulation company that just does poor work, takes your money and runs. We have used many contractors for different things and never have we ever encountered a company so bad that we feel we need to warn others to stay away from them.

  • Arnie came to my home right on time. He evaluated my piano, which I had hired him to tune. He noted the violins in the other room and asked if anyone played any other instruments . I told him the kids played violin. He then explained that the age of my piano (pre-1920) and the fact that the kids play other instruments would indicate that this piano shouldn't be tuned. He said it could be tuned to itself, but the tone would never match the violins, which could damage the kids' ability train their ears. I was disappointed, but he said tuning the piano to itself would be expensive and time consuming (over $300 and 2 years or so) plus the tone was off. He called someone he knew who was giving away a piano to see if they still had it (they didn't). He was very polite and professional, and although I don't like what he told me, I am glad he told me. He only charged me $20, even though he drove half and hour and across state lines to come to my home.

  • I have been very satisfied with them. Last year, they came out on time. I had not even asked them to plug the lawn. I had an underground fence for my dog. I was afraid that they would cut through the fence. So, when I went out and spoke with them, they did not think it would be a problem. They ended up splicing certain areas of the fence. As I had not ordered for the treatment, I got it for free. They came out and repaired the fence, too. It was an excellent service.

  • They covered their shoes when they came into the house. I was not around when they did the work, but I was very happy with the units that they installed. I was very happy with their service. I had received a couple of estimates, but my husband went with them. They were punctual.

  • He is one of the older local guys that everybody uses. He is willing to pick the lawn mower up and deliver it. He does not take very long. He just does good work, and he is reasonable. He stands behind his work.

  • They have been fine so far. Time will tell with the roof and how it holds up. We have had no problems so far and we have been very happy. My aunt had service from them as well and has been very happy. They came exactly when they said they would and were on time.

  • The installation was good on most windows but on a couple the installer just installed the window right over a very rotted window sill instead of replacing the sill first.
On another window the top of the window fogs up with condensation at times and we cannot even see out of the window.

  • Our first plumbing contractor (Twitchell) turned-out to be a disaster of unprofessional-ism who was causing havoc and cost over-runs in our construction. Day plumbing came in and did some of the work that was supposed to have been done by Twitchell's Plumbing and conducted themselves in a pressional manner that left me wishing they had been given all of the plumbing and heating contracts.

  • They were extremely professional in the course of their work and as a rare bonus (as far contractors go) they came in on budget. Many of the other contractors working on the build would look for any excuse to cause cost over-runs -- even if they deliberately caused the cost overruns -- but that never happened with Cole's.
