APatrick Miller Construction IncI was referred to Patrick Miller Construction by an acquaintance of mine. She had positive experience, and I would echo that I too had a positive experience especially since I have never undergone any type of renovation such as this one in my life. I will say that Patrick Miller Construction prides itself on customer service and transparency. They contract with professional crews who are timely and efficient. Dave Moshu, our sales rep, was extremely patient and attentive as we worked through the selection of colors and materials. He was always present as we moved through each new phase of the project. I feel like I met the entire Patrick Miller staff either in person or by telephone as they kept me informed as we completed a phase and prepared for the next phase. Patrick, the owner, even helped me with the door selection, and Deb was extremely apologetic when the siding was delayed due to the pandemic and their supplier. Scheduling was timely, and other than the delay in the siding supplies (due to the supplier and the pandemic, not Patrick Miller), the work for each project was completed in a timely fashion. I would definitely work with Patrick Miller again as we think about our future exterior projects (pergola) and can confidently recommend them to others.- Theresa A.

AGardner Construction IncWe did not have to completely replace the side staircase or redo the basement entrance for both instances. They were able to rein-enforce, repair and resurface these deteriorated and previously moss covered and crumbling concrete areas. It was handled in 1.5 days. Very professional, kind and capable employees. Left the sight very clean and did a spectacular job on the repairs. The areas look like new entrances. Very well done! The price was great as well. AAurora Asphalt & ConcreteAdded a parking pad alongside my driveway to allow for offstreet parking for all our cars during the winter. also widened the driveway to eliminate tight curve of existing driveway and eliminate accidental driving on lawn. Aurora Asphalt met with me, heard my problem, and offered an excellent solution. AKali ConcreteKali Concrete was recommended by a neighbor, who couldn’t be happier with his driveway, walkway and patio for over five years. He also wished he had not replaced his garage floor using another concrete company. For my driveway and walkway, Kali removed the old asphalt and concrete. They then put down a layer of gravel and placed rebar throughout before pouring concrete and spraying of sealer. The results look great.- Stone Y.

AHardline Concrete & MasonryI loved working with these guys and they did an excellent job. I hired them to rebuild the brick in front of my garage as well as install a sidewalk and apron. During the middle of the project we added a small stamped concrete patio. All work was professionally done. The work was clearly explained as to why they did things certain ways and the had very good communication. They were very prompt each day. AAs it pertains to professionalism, punctuality, quality, communication, and value John & Jerry Co was by far one of the best contractors that I’ve worked with. The asphalt driveway was replaced and it looks great. From scheduling and providing the free estimate, laying the base, to smoothing out the new asphalt, which was followed-up with meticulous clean up – all employees that I came in contact with were extremely professional and friendly. The crew was also very courteous to my neighbors and their properties. The project was top notch and turned out just as I had hoped. Need to also mention the job was completed ahead of scheduled. I highly recommend John & Jerry Co. as a contractor who can be counted on to do a great job.

FPoor customer service. Phone calls not returned. Concrete spotted. Told to wait for one year but it did not resolve. Told they would stain. Didn't follow through, delayed and delayed. House on market and asked to get it done. Delayed and delayed. Ironic that they answer their phone with "customer service a top priority." Would never recommend them to anyone.

AAWESOME. David is the best contractor I know, and I have used many over the years. He is transparent on pricing and effort involved and works hard to get the job done on schedule. His attention to detail is top-notch. In most cases, he is more detailed than me. He is knowledgeable in nearly all aspects of the job, and if he doesn't, he finds the answer. He is approachable, easy to work with, prompt, and always looking to make the customer happy. Work included concrete slab, electrical, footings, assembly of the shed, service door & painting, landscaping (grading, sod), and crushed rock driveway. He put in OSD sheathing on the interior and also a workbench and a robust shelving system. This is the second time I've used David. First time was to finish a basement. David will be getting all future work I have, and I am already getting some more projects lined up for him. Looking forward to the next project. Warning: do not brag about cold weather camping unless you've been below -40 F. He trounced my measly -12 F camping tale.

ACore Exteriors was very easy to work with. They made a potentially stressful job easy for me. I had my roof replaced, as well as siding and gutters. All work was done on time as promised, even in a material shortage situation. They have great communication as well, and were available for questions and special requests.
