Curt and his team were efficient with the install, it was done in a short afternoon and they cleaned up well afterwards. Curt came back later to do a final inspection and kindly showed me all the features on our new window. Through the whole process, everyone was confident, knowledgeable, and courteous. AAsbestos Abatement AssociatesWe recently had a radon mitigation system installed. When they ran the pipe for the radon fan out the side of the house they uncovered a pipe with asbestos that had previously been unreachable. I called AAA concerned and they were able to send someone to look at it the same day and completed the work that same week (I realize that might not always be possible). A small, quick job for $250, so I was very grateful they were able to squeeze us in and willing to take on the project. The first company I called was booked until April. I will call AAA first from here on on. They did great work and were all friendly and helpful.- LAURA & DAVID J.

AAsbestos Abatement AssociatesWe were very disheartened after discovering that our pipes had an asbestos insulation wrapping over them. My wife and I ended up talking to Richard who was very responsive and knowledgeable, answering all our crazy questions and calming the storm. He gave us all our options and explained everything in detail. I really appreciated the time he took with us on a Friday afternoon and having patience with us. He did not ask us anything for his time and effort. We are still in the midst of a decision on the course of action, so I cannot comment on the quality of work, but the first experience with the company was a pleasant one.- Wessel K.

AWish I could give them an A+! I was very impressed with Todd's expertise and customer service. We will definately be going back to Legend for future testing needs. We wanted to test some building materials from our 1920's house for asbestos before doing demolition. I called and consulted Todd over the phone on costs and sample collection before bring the samples over. Their rates for bulk analysis of asbestos were very economical in my opinion ($35 for 1 sample or $25/sample if multiple samples w/ 3-5 day turn) with options to pay for expedited results if you don't have time to wait ($50 for next day/sample or $100 for same day). When I arrived, he came out to talk through the samples and was very knowledgeable about building materials and which were likely or unlikely to contain asbestos. We had some multi-layered plaster and Todd explained how it was constructed and which layers, if any, were the most likely to contain asbestos. We dropped our sample off at 8am and requested next day results since we planned to start demo. We had results later the same day.

AThe work was done on Tuesday, November 17th, 2020. Some equipment was left to dry out the area prior to sealing the floor. On Thursday, November 19th, 2020, someone came out to finish the job. However, some equipment was left behind and I called to have someone come and pick it up. No one came out and I had the equipment in my dining room area for Thanksgiving. To date, Wednesday, December 9th, still no one has picked up the equipment. Could you please send someone out to pick it up? I would like it removed before Christmas. Other than that, a good job was done.

DTerrible start to finish! We had a condo fire that required a full-unit remodel. Trying to get an accurate budget or financial updates from these guys was impossible, even upon completion. I honestly think they make all their pricing up! There is nothing to back-up or show the details of the invoice they submitted to insurance. And we ended up with overages though we constantly asked them to ensure we were staying within budget. I absolutely do not, and would not, trust them. Additionally, our little 750 sq. ft. unit took over 5 months to complete! Despite earlier projections and statements along the way that it would be completed sooner. The several mix-ups along the way that caused the delays were due to a complete lack of project management. For example, the cabinets were not ordered until 2 months into the project though they had been selected weeks prior (and apparently no other work can be done until the cabinets are installed). Furthermore, the wrong plumbing was installed, and the blinds for the ground floor unit were ordered on the last day of the project (when they take 4-6 weeks to come in). Most staff were highly unprofessional and the owner himself is not responsive. When we did speak to him he said the bad estimator was “off our project” which was not true (as we found out when it came time to deal with insurance). Communication was impossible — we constantly received the run around and never had a point person so were stuck fielding calls and emails from many workers; none of which were ever on the same page. All said and done, the unit looks great. Just not worth the headache. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere!

FThey brought a dumpster after I had paid for it. In the middle of the project they came without notifying me and dumped a full dumpster of garbage in the driveway and left with their dumpster. They claimed that is what someone told them to do. A criminal service whose owner hasn't a clue on how to treat customers much less make things right after making mistakes.

FAfter two phone calls and a message on Angie's List I was finally able to get in touch with them to set an appointment to get my job done. The day of the appointment came and he pulled a "no call, no show". I reached out to Tim and his only response was that "it slipped his mind and he forgot". I would never recommend this company and am extremely disappointed.
