    I spoke with Kathy about a broken wash machine. She listened to my concerns and we discussed potential issues. It was determined that the cost to repair was not higher than cost to replace. Kathy was overbooked but referred me to a colleague for a second opinion.

    Once Kathy showed up and was able to get the dryer apart, the actual repair was quite simple. I had already ordered the correct parts but still needed some screws. We decided that it would be cheaper if I continued the repair instead of having Kathy run around picking up screws and coming back to finish up the job, which was very nice of her giving me that option. I will definitely use her again!!

    Kathy called within 15 minutes of leaving an email inquiry. She was able to come to my house the same day (with a couple of hours of calling). She came with the necessary parts needed to fix the washer and was very honest about what the washer needed. She replaced the parts quickly and involved me in showing me what the problem was. She works quickly and efficiently and enjoys what she does. Overall a great experience and I would ask her back when other repairs are needed.

    Phil came out to look at it and diagnosed our issue in just a few minutes after removing the motor (which turned out to be broken).  He gave my husband our options, returned with the needed parts the first thing next morning, installed them quickly and got us back on the road to happy laundry!  They were courteous, professional and efficient from my intake call to problem solved - in and out, done deal.  Thanks guys!

    I wish I could give a good review, but I can not.
    I called Fix-It-Chick to fix my Whirlpool Gladiator freezer that stopped working.  Unfortunately, I noticed it late on Friday night.  So Sat morning, I called and left a message for Fix-It-Chick.  She left a message later Saturday, we finally talked on Sunday.  When we talked, I described the problem to her.  She stated she had plans on Sunday, so we arranged for her to come over on Monday morning around noon and to call my wife, (who only works about 2 miles away) when she was about 30 minutes from arriving.  She asked my wife to call her Monday morning to confirm, in case she had other commitments (sick dog?)  She also asked for our garage code, but I was not comfortable giving that to a stranger, so told her my wife would call her and arrange the time.
     So Monday morning my wife called her.  She stated whe had a couple other things to do and would be by later and asked her for the garage code to stop in when she came by.  Since she seemed unwilling to commit to a specific time, and the desire to get it fixed, my wife gave her the garage code.
    So we came home around 5 PM and she never showed up.  Worried about the garage code, I immediately changed it.  She never bothered to even call afterwards, so we still never know if she even tried to come and look at it!
    So not professional at all (Why would she want the garage code and risk a client missing something, rather than require an adult be present???  then never even show up???) and I would not recommend her to anyone in the area.  I finally called Clayton's repair on Tuesday morning, they came out within 3 hours, spent 5 minutes on it and told my wife it was the fan and they needed to order it.  They immediately scheduled the install for 3 days later (Friday) and when they came out, it took them about 15 minutes to install the new fan.  
    So I wasted 3 days on Fix It Chick, wish I had called Clayton's right away, and will know to learn from that next time.

    The first time Josh came out, he thought it was a caulking issue.  Cost around $70.  Kids used the shower/tub again and water came down again when the tub was used.  Josh came out again two weeks later and had to cut a hole in our ceiling to get at the pipes.  Found out that it was a cracked nut, which he replaced quickly.  He applied what we paid from the first visit to the second visit.  Since he was there and it was a semi quick fix, we had him fix our kitchen sink which was leaking, take a look at why our dishwasher wasn't draining (which he couldn't find the problem) and give an opinion on our water heater (whether or not we would need to replace in the near future).  Josh was a great guy-very professional, answered all our questions (hubby and I were asking him a lot) and was very friendly.  Only downside was wish that problem would have been fixed the first time and we didn't have to wait a week to get him out again to repair as it made that bathroom unusable.  We for sure recommend and use Josh again.  Especially since we live just outside the cities, so he did have a little bit of a drive.

    Provider came out on two occasions to make a a factory authorized and dispatched repair and left the house both times without the Refrigerator in an operational state.  Was very difficult to get the provider to return and complete the work.  Once provider returned, the proper diagnostic technics were not used  and the findings that were required of the appliance manufacturer were not followed.  Made several calls to provider without response.  Provider did not return calls, nor did they provide feedback to the appliance company as directed.  After several calls and multiple weeks the provider finally did report the findings as requested, but because of their incompetence and ability to follow the procedures that they should have understood when accepting work, the process and all of the time spent with them was wasted (over 60 days).
    The provider will respond that they were not willing to make several trips for such a low payment from the manufacturer, however their lack of responsiveness and professionalism is exactly NOT how a business should be run. If they were unwilling to do the work then they should not have accepted the work. In my last interaction with the Owner he flat out lied to me on the phone, telling me that everything was taken care of when in fact it was not as confirmed by the manufacturer only 5 minutes after our conversation.

    I purchased the Deal for the dryer duct cleaning and preventative inspection on the washer and dryer,  added the furnace air duct cleaning,  also arranged for AAA to clean the Townhome Association air ducts.  The office was great at arranging all the work for one day.   The crew arrived on time, cleaned and santized the air ducts and dryer ducts.  Very professional and answered all my questions.
    Cost was fair, they also  replaced the bad washer hoses. I  was pleased to see them put on  protective shoe coverings . They were respectful towards the house.
    FYI --They did not tell me before they started the air duct cleaning that they had to put holes  and cut out a square in the duct work,   was a bit surprized.  If they spray the cold air returns and the spray hits the walls,  wipe with water quickly or the streaks stay. 
     Will call on them again.

    They fixed what they were initially meant to fix. However, I don't think he actually tested it. When we tested it after he left, the oven light no longer worked. We called them to come out and look at it, but they were going to charge us $100 just to come out and check.

    Our microwave just up and died yesterday. I searched Angie's List and found Clayton's Appliance repair and gave them a call. They scheduled the appointment around my schedule when Clayton arrived he was very professional. Got right into the beast and found the blown sensor. Repaired on the spot and now the micro is back on line.
