They were A+ all three times. They send a text message about an hour before a scheduled appointment. Then they call about 10 minutes before they arrive. Each time took about 20 minutes to haul each piece of furniture and to take a credit card payment. They also give a 10% discount for Angie's List members.

Great job! As promised, he called before arriving. He looked at the pile of junk and provided an estimate which we accepted. Then, he loaded everything in the truck and swept the garage floor afterwards.

They ended up taking two complete loads and they were pretty fast overall. It was a difficult situation. They take it away for you, but typically at least in the Bay Area they have a reuse and recycle aspect to the business. So, what they do first employees get to go through whatever's then claim whatever they might like and then after that they and I'll sort through it and pull stuff that's recyclable and then also if they have no options to you know find a home for stuff to do and the rest they send another kind of try to minimize the landfill in respect to what they do. This was in San Francisco to my brother's apartment in San Francisco; He passed away, and we had to clean out his apartment and so that was, they did that and it was nothing subtle about it. On the price, I think it was kind of average; it wasn't a great price it was kind of an average price. They were easy to work with, they didn't add anything to the interesting drama. They were responsive, they got back right to us. They got a little lost trying to find the place. If I had to do something locally, I would shop a little bit, but yeah I'd probably use them again. Two crews of two came in one day and then the next day a crew came. We basically prepped everything for them to take. It was a third-floor apartment; they basically pull their dump truck underneath the window and they just pitched out the window onto the bed of the truck. I just felt like they handled the situation very, very well. They were good about doing it fast and avoided charging me extra. They do have a baseline that says it's going to take so many hours and if you go over that they charging more and they worked pretty hard to avoid that charge. Everything they asked them to take they took, and we were responsible for sweeping up after that, in terms of what their job was to move everything out, they did fine with it. They moved things out quickly. They really did a good job of minimizing the loads and time. They really worked on keeping our numbers down. My first impression was good, I thought they were very positive, ready to go to work, no slacking in there at all.

    Vineland Tree Care
Great experience with Vineland. We had quotes from 2 other companies and Vineland was significantly less expensive. We worked with Seamus and he was very responsive and helpful. Our yard was actually cleaner when they left than when they came, they picked up extra sticks that had already fallen in our yard. Highly recommend!

I purchased an Angie's List deal $120. Rep on the phone said that the items I had would fit into the base rate as noted. Although I did describe that I had a couple of twin mattresses to go, when they came to pick up the items they said there's an additional $25 recycling fee for each mattress. Total cost $170. Not such a good deal.

    Shirtless Movers
We didn't get that far. I called on a Monday at noon. It sounded as if I work the person up. He was very short with me even after I was new to this and I had a lot of questions. He kept pulling the phone away from his face and trying to sell me on how his prices are competitive. He walked me through dates and we even picked a time. I signed up online as he directed. He texted me back with confirmation. Hours later, I get another message from him that they don't have a manager that can work that day and cancelled service. Very frustrating. He suggested a new date that was 15 days in the past.

    Total Sanitation Services Inc
Great. They prompted me to describe the work I was doing to estimate the right size dumpster and asked when I needed it. (This was about 7:30 am) I said as soon as you can deliver. They promised by early afternoon and it showed up about 12:20. The driver that delivered it was awesome. He talked thru the best place to put it in the driveway to be both helpful to fill it and still park my car. It was the perfect size! At first I thought it would be too big - but then the stuff just kept coming and it was about full. I called this am for pick up and they said they'd be out today. I will definitely use them again.

    Junk Eco
When Scott visited the property, he estimated two full loads for $873.00 and suggested we try to get rid of some of the stuff. We advertised on Craigslist and had a garage sale. We got rid of most of the stuff. When he and Matt came they were visibly upset at how much was gone and then had to adjust the price down to $640 cash. After complaining about every item we wanted removed, he took about 3/4 truck away and for that price, I still am left with junk. His website claims that 1 load would be $473.

    Kaba Junk Removers Services
This did not go well and I would not recommend Kaba. I bought a LS coupon for $75. I had a very hard time scheduling them. Phone called unanswered. Emails unanswered. When I did reach somebody, the conversation was "odd" at best - as if I was inconveniencing them. I then had to work very hard to get them on a schedule to pick up. My husband ended up having to contact them as well. At each point, I gave them the LS voucher #. It was in all the emails. When they finally showed up (no time given, just showed up) they then told my husband it was too much stuff but we could pay extra to have them take it all. I have no problem with that, but the approach was rude. When he declined the offer, they then refused to take the junk until I came back home and physically showed them the LS voucher on the phone. Despite the fact that they already had the # and the fact that had we paid more in cash they would not care about the voucher. They then argued with me about how much other was and then complained about a few other things. I have never had a service experience like this. Strange is the only way I can characterize it. You offer a service - why not just follow through without drama? Get people on the schedule when they call, be specific about the time, pick it up without so much needless discussion. They made every step of the way a hassle which seems like a poor way to run a business.
