These guys are the absolute best. I have seldom have such a positive experience with a repair company. My snowblower completely stopped working. On the phone, first they suggested a shear pin may have been broken and they were absolutely correct. I replaced it, The engine still wasn't turning over so they suggested over the phone to run a space heater in front of the gear box to melt all the ice. I did and the engine turned over and the snowblower was working again. But now it was making a horrible noise. A technician came out and in five minutes, he had solved the problem (a belt was loose and making a slapping noise) and on top of everything else he was on time and very helpful. I will definitely use them again for any small engine repair. Honest people, how great is that?

Twin Cities Lawn Mower Repair & Snow Blower Repair
Extremely well! The process to arrange pickup was easy and fast, I got an informative estimate with request to authorize, and really fast repair and delivery back to me. They wen above and beyond by sending a specific list of tips, dos and donts for my machine for both the winter season and offseason. Fast, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and a fair price. I highly recommend.

First of all, I travel.... alot. I purchased 3/13/17 with an expiration date of 9/9/17. 3 days after purchase received an email from provider suggesting dates of 3/20 or 3/22 to which i did not respond since I was out of the country. On April 12 I received another email suggesting the date of 4/18 (Easter Monday) between 10 and 12. Again I did not reply as I was traveling and returned home on 4/14 the day before a holiday weekend. On Monday 4/18 my young adult daughter called my office and said there was a guy who showed up to work on the lawnmower so she let him in the garage. I told her I had to call her in a couple of minutes as I was with a client. Called her back and asked her to hand the phone to him. I asked why he was there without an appointment? He replied because I had not responded to his emails ( this offer does not expire for 5 more MONTHS) I told him I travel alot and would have appreciated the opportunity to speak with him directly ahead of time, arrange an appointment (or bring the mower to his shop based on that conversation that did not happen) rather than him assuming it was acceptable to just show up. I indicated to him that I would have provided a new blade etc to be installed but he responded to not worry that he had sharpened the existing one. That was fine. I proceeded to tell him that the recoil/rewind rope had been acting up in the fall and could he check it... again something I would have discussed prior to arrival. A few minutes later he called back on my daughters phone and said he had changed oil, sharpened the blade and the recoil/rewind seemed to be fine but after this he could now not start the mower. I said, yes in the fall i could not get it to start either partly because the rope came out a couple of times. He yells at me and says "why didn't you tell me that? " I responded that if we had actually SCHEDULED an appointment that would have been discussed at that time but I never got the chance to do that since he just showed up ! He was very disgruntled at me pointing out that FACT and he said " I'm leaving now and will just tell Angie's List no charge. " and he promptly hung up on me. I waited a few minutes because I was so flabbergasted at the whole situation and somehow he had it turned around that I had created this situation. I called my daughter back and asked her to hand him the phone but he refused to answer and left. I simply wanted to hear what exactly I had done wrong in this situation?????? Unfortunately, now after the fact, I have read the mixed reviews on this provider and the bad ones are really bad and sound fairly similar to my experience - guy is mad at the world. So I now am $89 into a lawnmower that does not run, granted a tune up would not necessarily remedy it not starting but I could not know if that was because he rope kept coming out or some other reason. I would have been willing to take this mower to his shop for repair AND the purchased tune up had we had a conversation about it prior to him showing up with no confirmed appointment. I don't believe him "suggesting" a time in an email qualifies as an appointment made. Simply filed this claim as a follow on to his statement of "no charge" I don't think I will even waste my time writing a review. But now need to find a responsible, civil, reputable provider to service my mower successfully and am already out $89.

I didn't actually have them do the repair because it was almost as much as a new pressure washer so I just bought a new pressure washer. The estimate was $270. They charge a flat $20 fee for the estimate and then they back that out if they actually do the repairs. The problem was with the pump and the pump was horribly expensive and it takes a while to order and it was just as cheap to buy a new one so I dropped it off. They were a little bit slow because it's the end of lawn mower season and the beginning of slow blower season. They were not unreasonably slow. I really like them and for me, it was worth the wait because I trust them.

    FRATTALLONE'S ACE HARDWARE
Frattallone's does all of its lawn mower repair at the Circle Pines location.  I dropped my mower off at Frattallone's in St. Louis Park.  They did not tell me that they don't do the work there.  It took 3 weeks to get my mower back (they only do deliveries back to other stores twice a week).  In the meantime I had to pay someone $40 to mow my lawn.  I finally got my mower back.  I got it home & it wouldn't start because the recoil cord seized up!  This is what was supposed to be repaired!  I took it back.  It took another 2 weeks to repair.  This time I asked if they had loaner mowers.  Their answer was, "of course we do".  Why didn't they tell me this to begin with??
When I picked it up they charged me another $30 because they replaced the cord recoil mechanism.  I asked why that wasn't replaced when they put in a new cord?  They didn't know.  I don't think I should have been charged the second time because they didn't fix it to begin with.

I emailed Mobile Engine Doctor about my broken lawn mower and they got back to me quickly to offer up appointment options. I was able to leave the lawn mower out on the day of service so I did not need to be home for the appointment. Service was provided and an invoice was left. The lawn mower has worked well since the appointment.

It was fine. I received an email almost instantly as to whether I wanted to drop it off or have it picked up for an additional fee and I never received a response. I then tried calling a week or so later and the voicemail said the mailbox was full. Thought that was odd. Eventually, I called again and got someone and then I brought it over and everything was fine after that.

Before I purchased this special deal, I called the Company to see what the timeframe was as my mower was leaking gas.  This was on 5/27.  They said they thought they could pick it up in a week.  Noone ever called.  I called again last week and they said they were getting close and would call when they could get it.  It is now 2 weeks later.  Had I known this, I would have taken it in to another place. I have had to pay to get my grass cut for the past two weeks so the coupon saved me nothing.

Caring, timely and responsive service.  I will use them again for servicing my lawn mower in the spring, and would definitely call them if I had another issue with any small engine repair.  I sincerely trust their servicing and give them a "10".

My lawn mower quit on me before I could even get the first cutting in. Because of schedules, I had a hard time taking off time to bring my mower somewhere and then pick it up, so I looked for a service that would come to my home and found it. Everything was precisely as advertised. I went on to their web site, made a reservation for service (it was easy) and they confirmed within an hour. They were able to put me on the schedule just a day out from when I made the reservation. They even contacted me again to ask if I wanted a particular package that would save me some money. Although you don't even have to be home at the time of service, I happened to be here today. Mark arrived, was really pleasant and professional and quickly got to work. He diagnosed the problem, made the repairs, tuned up the machine, and even cleaned it up. He didn't leave so much as a blade of grass on my driveway. I definitely recommend the service - oh, and the price was right, too.
