  • It was wonderful.  Dr. Michael, as well as both of his nurse assistants, were professional, courteous and concerned.  I was comfortable with them immediately.  They took time to talk with me and didn't rush.  They were reassuring and made me feel as if I was their only patient.  They asked all the necessary questions and asked permission to examine me.  They answered every one of my questions in a way that was easy for me to understand.  They went over my treatment plan in detail and left written instructions for me to follow.  They called in my prescriptions, which were ready the next day.  They set up a follow up appointment for the following week.  This showed me they were my team and I could count on them.

    When you go to a regular doctor's appointment, you usually spend a fair amount of time in the waiting room, then get a 15 or 20 minute visit with the doctor.  In and out!  Dr. Michael and his staff spent an hour with me....no rushing.  They took their time and I knew I was being well cared for.  By the time they left, I felt as if they had been my medical team for years.  

    My abscess healed.  My infection is gone.  During my exam, we discovered several other medical issues that need attention.  SMR continues to treat my diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.  I continue to be impressed with their expert medical treatment and just as important, their genuine caring.  It is such a blessing that they come to me.  This makes my life so much easier. This is a service that considers those of us who can't get around easily.  They get an A+ rating from me.

  • Fantastic experience.  

    Kim was thoughtful and thorough in understanding our needs.  She quickly & effectively narrowed down the myriad of choices to a reasonable few for our situation.  

    During the application process, the Insurance Company website had an error, which Kim handled.  Without her, I would have spent countless hours frustrated by the Insurance Company's website problems.  

    I truly enjoyed working with Kim and definitely recommend her to anyone looking for help navigating the Health Insurance maze.

  • The doctors are all employees. I have been using them for twenty years. I have been very happy with them. Appointments are easy to get. I can get in quickly. They do have an urgent care that I can take my kids to if I need to. They are quick to refer to a specialist without hesitation. They have everything there.

  • I found this insurance on www.einsurance.com, which is a fantastic resource to find health insurance. I pay $142/month and I have a $5,000 deductible. I like this plan A LOT because there are no co-pays - I just pay EVERYTHING up to the $5,000 deductible. I also get a free annual checkup (both primary care and ob/gyn) and twice a year free dental. When I signed up with Anthem, I got to keep the doctor I'd had for the last 10years or so.
    When I have needed to purchase prescriptions, I still have to pay for the whole thing, but if they run my insurance card, I get a discount, presumably because I'm part of a large pool.
    It's easy to use their online bill-paying service, and when I have inquired about why I had to pay for tests done at my "free" exam, I got a clear and full explanation.

  • Called to get information on available insurance options for single family, private purchase--got great information about how the Health Care Exchanges would affect that decision, so I am waiting and will be in further touch with Jared--he was great to care about my specific condition and follow up (though it took him a while to return calls).

  • We saw a nurse practitioner and she provided service which lasted less than five minutes! She did look into our daughter's ears and indicated she did not see any signs of infection and I tried to let her know that she had a history of ear infections and was favoring the left ear, she indicated there was nothing in the ear canal to be worried about and if it seemed to get worse to bring her back. The next morning I took my daughter to her pediatrician's office and it was confirmed it was an ear infection and she was prescribed antibiotics We received a bill approximately two weeks later and it was for $283 with our insurance. I have let everyone I know of this unfortunate experience and to say the least will not return..

  • They have a new mother and baby center. The facility is fantastic and their technology is very much into what's current. Their nurses are fabulous. Their professionalism is outstanding and their service is outstanding too. Basically it was a very good experience. Their bedside manner was fantastic and it was the best I've seen.

  • The people there are really friendly and efficient. Their nursing staff responds quickly. I think they do really well on communicating about what is going to happen. They write down, and tell you who is going to be your next staff person.

  • The nurse and gymnastics coach at the event both told me they thought
    her elbow was dislocated. I told the Emergency room admitting person and
    the PA (we never saw a doctor) that I was told it was probably
    dislocated. They took two x-rays and told her it was just a sprain and
    to wear a sling for 1 week.
    Thank goodness my daughter went to watch the last 30 minutes of her
    gymnastics practice and the Physical Therapist that only visits once a
    week was there. She looked at her arm and said it looked more
    serious than a sprain. She referred us to Twin Cities Orthopedics.
    I took her the next day to Twin Cities Orthopedics. They took more
    x-rays even though I went and got the x-rays Regions had taken. The
    Orthorpedic doctor said the elbow was definitely dislocated and showed
    me the x-ray. He said he wasn't qualified to treat the injury and that
    we should go to Childrens Hospital. We immediately drove to Childrens
    where my daughter was admitted for the night and was operated on the
    next morning. She had to be anesthetized and a 2 " incision was made to
    move tendons and ligaments out of the way. It was a more serious
    operation because over 3 days had gone by since the initial injury and the
    WRONG diagnosis.
    I was just looking over the paper work I was given at Regions on the
    night of our first and LAST visit and under the heading "DIAGNOSIS", it
    simply says "elbow pain".
