  • I'm going to do my best to be as factual as possible, but overall we are extremely dissatisfied and quite frustrated to date with this company. Before I get into the details, I do want to say that the owner is prompt, courtesy and accountable. He and his team just aren't solving the major (and seemingly growing problem) we paid good money to fix. During the initial visit, the owner sealed a few 'end points' in our siding, which he was quite sure would resolve the issue. He told us to wait two weeks and everything should subside. Two weeks and several dead mice later (including a 911 call after mice chewed their way into our oven and caused a fire), the owner came back out to our property. Again, he sealed a few 'end points' in our siding, and again he said he was quite sure the issue was resolved. Two weeks and several dead mice later (including new dead mice beneath our basement couch), he sent another person out to 'closely' inspect things. Again, he sealed a few 'end points' and said we should be all set. At no time during any of these three visits to date did the owner or his colleague do a deep inspection of our basement level to determine where the mice were getting in. In the subsequent weeks, my wife and I spent many hours clearing out basement insulation beneath the stairs and behind our furnace. What we found was quite alarming -- very clear nesting areas that the owner and his team hadn't bothered to investigate. We then called this company to schedule a fourth return visit in less than two months. When we spoke with the owner, he repeated everything he said during the first three visits (and 6-7 phone conversations), which was beyond frustrating. When I complained that his team spent very little time investigating inside the house, his exact quote was -- "I don't mean to sound condescending but I don't care what's happening inside the house." Now, this was in context of staying focused on excluding mice from gaining entry, but you can't just say 'I don't mean to sound condescending' and then be completely condescending to a customer whose problem you've made ZERO progress fixing. The only saving grace, which I do credit them for honoring, is that they returned our full payment after basically quitting on the job and leaving my wife and I to figure it out. If you are having a mice problem, I'd call other vendors first.

  • One component of their pricing tripled since the last time they performed the same service (3 years ago), so we questioned their the price. The technician didn't feel comfortable answering this question, so I was asked to call a particular person at the main office to get my question answered. I left a cordial and detailed message outlining my question, and asked for a return call. I then paid the technician for the services being performed, except for the cost of the one component I was questioning. I let him know that once we discussed the price and came to an agreement, I would pay that additional amount.
    Shortly thereafter, we received a call from the woman at the main office. She was irate, screaming at my husband. She hardly let him get a word in, and continued on a rant regarding the fact that we questioned their pricing. She was rude, angry, loud and not once allowed us to have a dialogue. It was instead a monologue ending in her telling us she was going to rip up our check, never service our home again, and then hanging up on my husband. 
    I'm sure we did nothing to deserve this treatment. We simply challenged the price. And not in a confrontational or unprofessional manner. Simply asking to discuss so we can understand the price. 
    I would never want to do business with someone who treats their (repeat) customers in this manner. Makes me wonder... Have they NEVER had ANYONE ask them about their pricing before?

    The service man was so friendly and took great care of us.
    I honestly couldn't give a better recommendation.
    The company before Adam's didn't see the hole, and was just continuing to bait the mice and it was just an ongoing problem.
    Adam's stopped the cause of the problem and I will never go back to another company again!

  • I have had many pest controls companies out but continued to find 2 mice a week in my crawl space.  West Side found a GIANT HOLE that everyone else had missed and blocked it.  Haven't had a mouse since then.  It was big enough for a small "grizzly bear" to crawl through as he told me.  Enjoyed his efficiency and promptness.  He said to make sure I call him if I find another mouse.  I would use him in the future.

  • Larry is amazing to work with and is extremely effective! He is punctual, professional, and explains everything he is doing to help educate you on the issues/resolutions. He asked pertinent questions and then walked the entire perimeter of our house to plug any potential areas where the mice were getting in. He also provided outdoor bait traps to help with the situation and gave us a guarantee for his work.

    I am not usually one to write reviews (good or bad) on people/products, but I felt it necessary to help others in finding a solution for mice extermination. Use this company and you will not be disappointed!

  • Fantastic! I've never had any exterminator thoroughly explain what was being done. I've never had an exterminator place so much bait throughout my home and garage.  I've not had any problems w/mice in a year.  I highly recommend.

  • Larry was incredibly nice and professional and really went the extra mile for us.  He offered suggestions for ways to fix our foundation/siding so that we wouldn't have mice in the future and offered to inspect our handiwork when we had finished.  He followed up on his promise, inspecting our work less than 24 hours after I notified him that we had finished.  We will not hesitate to use Larry for any future needs and would recommend him to anyone looking.  Should probably also mention that it has now been 3 months and we are still mouse-free.

  • Great, he found a hole in our chimney brick outside, as well as in the front of the house.  Filled them, and set some traps up.   We caught a few after the holes were patched up (within 2-3 days, and was expected).  But haven't seen one since.   Great job.

  • The work was completed in about four hours.   No mice have been detected since the improvements, but we will be watchful. The work is under warranty for three years   The results: So far, so good.  The provider,  Richard Standish, has been  in the pest-control business for many years -- and we are confidant that hiring him was a good choice.
