  • These guys were amazing, they came recommend and we are so glad we picked them! A little back story...we had purchased my parents old home and a lot of work needed to be done, we were on a tight budget and just wanted it livable to get moved it. The remodeling company we hired were taking forever getting stuff done and we felt left out of the loop a lot. My brother recommended Ira's as he had worked with John previously and thought very highly of him. When we got to the point we could get our cabinets installed we reached out to them, we had gotten cabinets and counter tops from someone who was doing a remodel and just hoped we could figure out how to make them work for us, John made time to meet us and get a game plan for us, he understood we were on a budget and were more worried about just figuring out how to make them work versus how they would look, we had set aside enough to try to get the main cabinets where the sink would go installed so we could get some running water to start cleaning. His crew showed up talked to us a bit and started work right away, we figured in the few hours we could afford they would get one section done and planned on down the road saving to get it finished up, but in just a few short hours they had it all done for us, even though we said that we weren't concerned with looks, they picked out not only the most functional layout for us but installed them beautifully. His crew asked all the right questions about what we're hoping for and exceeded our expectation knowing they were working with stuff that wasn't new. They had some creative ideas for our small kitchen and made sure it would work with our ideas. They kept us updated and if something we had planned for wasn't going to work they would give us other options rather than just claiming it wouldn't work. They cleaned up any mess that was left and you wouldn't have known they did it for us in a bit of a time crunch. John even stopped by later to check it out and make sure we liked it and offered to help with anything else they could do, but I honestly could think of anything, they truly did everything we had asked of them and went above and beyond to work with us. I highly recommend them and am willing to go into more details of our layout design if anyone wants. Thank you guys for the amazing kitchen, it looks beautiful.

  • We've always had Comfort Masters service our equipment and have been very satisfied with their work. This last visit was a little off, though. It was the last appointment of the day, and it was very warm out, so I'm attributing it all to that.

    Another technician came out to help after I called the office. The work was done quickly and well. The price was slightly higher than quoted, but assuming that was because we were charged for time of two technicians.

  • UPDATE: PLEASE DO NOT HIRE HIM UNTIL I KNOW MORE.  WE NEEDED HIM
    PRIMARILY FOR A MOLD INSPECTION.  I FINALLY GOT AROUND TO READING THE
    REPORT'S FINE PRINT WHICH SAID THAT MOLD/FUNGAL INSPECTIONS ARE OUT OF
    HIS REALM AND HE DID NOT PUT IN THE REPORT THE LACK OF MOLD THAT HE TOLD
    ME IN PERSON.  I NEED THE PROFESSIONAL SIGN OFF FOR SELLING THE HOUSE,
    NOT JUST WHAT HE SAID TO ME, AS BUYERS WANT HARD EVIDENCE.  AFTER
    OTHERWISE HAVING A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH HIM, THIS IS A REAL DOWNER.  I
    EMAILED HIM TO EXPRESS MY CONCERN AND HE TOLD ME THAT HE LIKELY TOLD ME
    THAT MOLD/FUNGUS WAS NOT IN THE REALM OF A TYPICAL HOME INSPECTOR.  HE
    DID NOT.  IF HE HAD, I WOULD NOT HAVE HIRED HIM AS THAT WAS THE WHOLE
    POINT.  WE COVERED THE NEED FOR A MOLD INSPECTION ON THE PHONE BEFORE
    HIRING HIM AND IN THE DRIVEWAY BEFORE THE INSPECTION.  I BET I SAID MOLD
    15 TIMES OR MORE.  HIS WEBSITE SAYS NOTHING ABOUT MOLD/FUNGUS BEING OUT
    OF HIS REALM OF INSPECTION.  WE MAY END UP IN COURT OVER THIS IF
    SOMETHING CAN'T BE WORKED OUT.  IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO HIRE HIM, PLEASE
    KEEP IN CONSIDERATION THAT HE HAD MULTIPLE TIMES TO CLARIFY THINGS WITH
    ME AND DID NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ANY OF THEM.  I FEEL FRUSTRATED AND
    DUPED.  (I RATED PUNCTUALITY AS FAIR ABOVE WHEREAS BEFORE I GAVE HIM
    FULL CREDIT...HE WAS LATE...I JUST HAD SUCH A GOOD EXPERIENCE UP TO THAT
    POINT THAT I GAVE HIM A GOOD RATING AS ANYONE CAN MAKE ONE MISTAKE.

  • I simply wanted to check with this company about having my home inspected for mold. A recent national news program covered the fact that many mold testing companies are poor and what to look for in a good company. As a result, I called to first ask about their testing methods. I called twice. Each time I chatted with a receptionist who referred me to someone else. I left messages with two separate people, one per phone call, who were the ones who could answer my questions, according to the receptionist. 2 calls. 2 weeks. No word from them.

  • We agreed to this. then for the next three months they would'nt return our calls. finally one week ago they answered our call. we closed the deal; on the lot i want to tell every boy how we were treated. badly.

  • The installers came in to replace a total of 10 windows which turned into 9, as we had the 2 in the kitchen turned into a double slider, which allows so much more light in. They started on Oct. 29 and had the old windows out and the new in. On the 30th, they came back to frame in the new windows. Because we had asked that they install 2 sets of doors for us, the installation took an extra day. The work was top notch and the Verde windows are wonderful. They cleaned up everything from the construction. Very happy with the product and service.

  • Overall, I was not happy. I received two bills in the mail, the first for cleaning the furnace, which was $228. Then I received a $92 bill for the 5 minutes the guy was hear to tell me it was broken. I did call them to question the bills, and they dropped the second bill. Unfortunately, I had to pay for the cleaning, which isn't what I asked for in the beginning; I asked to have it fixed. They did send someone out to do an estimate on a new furnace, but he wanted to put in a furnace on a different fuel than what we had and didn't listen to what we wanted, so I told him I was going elsewhere. I appreciate the slight attempt to fix the problem, but am overall disappointed with the company.
