Jolene made the process easy, stress free and she spoke to my wife and I kindly and respectfully when it came to the technical loan terms and she explained everything so it made total sense. I would 100 percent recommend anyone to go see Jolene if you need any kind of a mortgage! Jolene knows her stuff and is awesome and most of all easy to work with. Oh and Jolene and First Class Mortagage beat all the other Mortgage companies prices on rates and fees when I compared them to other companies and online rates. By far best, cheapest and best customer service around!!!!!

Due to property being purchased at the sheriff's sale and then rehabbed and re-sold again, second appraisal had to be ordered and underwriter didn't understand some thing which Shawn clarified for him on time, ordered and received a second appraisal on time and closing was on time. Everything went great!

  • I can't say enough good things about First Class Mortgage. They helped me through every step of the way when I bought my first home. They have excellent communication. They always answer the phone, and send immediate responses to emails. They took all of the stress out of the home buying process and I can't thank them enough. At the time, my job was 100% commission which typically makes any type of loan approval difficult... but Brady and Casey knew everything there was to know about getting me approved and into my home within 30 days. My closing was on time, and they even followed up afterwards to check in. Thanks FCM!!

  • I have worked with the MLS mortgage group on several occasions. Eric and Shel are great. If they weren't they would not be getting my business on a repeat basis. Their rates always seem to be the best in the market place and their fees are competitive with other service providers. They are always available to answer calls or get back to me in a quick fashion when I leave a message. If there is a problem they are on top of it and make sure they do their research to get any problems corrected. If they don't know the answer they tell you they don't know, and then do the research to get the information that is needed to answer the question. If I was looking to get another loan in the near future they are the first ones I would call. If anyone asks me for a recommendation for a loan the MLS Mortgage Group is at the top of my list. It is my experience they are great with first time home buyers as well with refinances and difficult or challenging loan options.

  • Incredible level of service! Doug was very helpful in any situation and made the closing process the easiest of all home purchasing process! I don't even know where to begin. He had full of knowledge and was always reachable. Although his main area seems to be up in Albertville, he came down to Maple Glove for me to sign paper and whatnots. 

    Doug was referred to me by my Realtor and although I tend to find my need on my own in most of the case, I am very glad I was referred to him. He is part of Bell Mortgage(previously Prime Mortgage) which is a division of the Business Bank. I contacted 4,5 different lender/broker to get a best rate and closing cost, and no one came near him. In fact, he is the only one that mentioned a restriction on origination fee and the risk of shopping around too many times in which, he gave me a piece of paper to explain the number of inquiries to make the mess smoother. 

    Seller decided the closing date, and by the time PA was signed after inspection contingency removed, it was less than a month to close. During that process, he's got done with everything almost two weeks prior and in addition to changing my lock term from 45 days to 15 days, he was able to decrease my rate by half a percent! I should also mentioned that he locked me in before myself signing the PA because the rate was better that day. On top of everything, he gave me a lender credit at the closing which I was pleasantly surprised of!

    I am sure I missed to mention other great things he had done for me but, being able to close in 45 minutes and me actually feeling stress-free should say enough how great he is. Needless to say, I have recommended him to all of my co-worker and friends, and I will be contacting him again in a future for my second home! It was just a FANTASTIC experience.

  • Although I sold the property, I still needed to pay the insurance until they got the proof of insurance. Giving them a proof of payment was a horrendous affair, because when I called them, I got a different person every time. They would not give their direct line, be it the customer service, the collections, or the escrow departments. They would email the person that you needed to talk to, and that person would or would not call you back. You really needed to have a lot of energy to put up with these people. Every once in a while you got hold of someone who would really help you, but you could never get hold of them ever again, and so you would have to explain your whole situation all over again. There were two times when we got hold of someone who supposedly made notations that certain money needed to be applied in a certain way, but they didn't, and so we had been making payments for the property the whole time. We've never missed any payment but we were still getting letters threatening default. They also contacted the credit bureau while we were trying to get this insurance issue taken care of. When you faxed information, even though they told you that it was their direct fax, it still took two days to get the fax, and one representative told us that we need to fax it 5 times, all this while a manager was listening. We had as many as 3 managers on the line at once, and one of the managers was baffled and distraught at the way our account was being handled. We finally got hold of this person in escrow and I think that we have gotten this problem straightened out, but it took us many calls. We have never missed our payment for 9 years and it is distressing that they've treated us like this. I have had a very bad experience with them, except for a few people who really tried to help me.
