Mike came out to the site and later submitted a quote to me. His quote was 40% higher than a quote I had from another company, so I sent an email to see if there were other materials or perhaps higher quality steel included in Mike's quote that were not in my previous quote. Mike then sent a nasty text to my general contractor, saying that he was not interested in the job and that the homeowner (me) was "busting his balls about the price". That simply was not the case, as I merely was asking for a clarification on the quote so that I could compare apples to apples. I then called Mike to ask for clarification on the quote and also expressed that I was not pleased that he chose to speak poorly of me to my general contractor. He was very apologetic and thanked me for calling him. He then sent a text in which he admitted that he was very rude, apologized again, and asked if he could keep my business. I sent a text stating that I fully accepted his apology and harbored no feelings of ill will towards him and that I'd talk to my general contractor and let him know later, as I was on business traveling. 5 days later, he later sent a follow-up text asking if I had found someone else or if I was going to let him "redeem himself for his rude comments" (direct quote from his text). I didn't respond since we were still trying to decide what to do and I was dealing with some other issues on the house and at work. Two weeks later, I received a long text at 10:42 p.m. that attacked me personally for not responding. Here is a direct quote from his long text to me: "Not cool so I will be writing you up an invoice for a service call for the Saturday I was out and the hours I had into the proposal and research for your materials because that's what a good person would do pay a man for his time away from his family!". Again, this is just a snippet from his very long text which was filled with unprofessional comments towards me. Because of this, I feel obligated to warn others of the lack of professionalism and rude comments from the owner of this business. I obviously did not proceed with using him as a contractor so I cannot comment on the quality of his work. However, I cannot recommend his services to others based on his unprofessionalism, incredibly rude late-night texts, and his poor customer service.

Provider has been unprofessional from the start. On day scheduled for new roof I received multiple calls from provider changing numerous things we had agreed to in contract. - he did not want to do a complete tear off. - he wanted to change color from white to black because tar was going to be messy. - he did not replace old fascia leaving a mess for me to deal with. - he chose not to install a drip edge and stated just because the manufacturer says you need it doesn't mean anything. - He also said we did not ask for it. - he did not install roofing felt or tar paper under shingles. Guess we did not ask for it either. Got tar on everything including interior as a result. - all roofing nails are exposed and now roof leaks badly in areas we have never had a leaks before. - he has come back 3 times to try to fix leaks and on the third time put new layer of roofing over leaky part of roof. - now we have a brand new leak as a result of 2nd layer. I called to let him know about new leak and he hung up on me and has not attempted to call back. I have caulked and sealed every seam and can not stop leak. It is now causing damage inside. Aside from being a leaky roof the entire roofing job looks very amateurish. I do not recommend this roofer. This has turned out to be a very expensive roof. We now have to hire someone who knows what they are doing to start over and do it right. Roofer has not responded to our request for a refund. Very stressful and disappointing experience.

The whole process was excellent.  Bob came out and looked at the old roof and promptly gave us an estimate, which was very reasonably priced.  He was able to begin the work very quickly and did a complete, professional job.  The new roof and vents look fantastic and the crew cleaned up the job site beautifully.  I am extremely happy with Precision Home Contracting and will have them look at some other work that needs to be done to the house.

Brad called me back immediately and completed the job within a few days of my inquiry. His price was very reasonable. I have full confidence in Brad and his crew and will call him again the next time I need roof work performed.
