    I found the movers to be polite, respectful, hard working and would highly recommend them. The cleaning service was a little lighter than I wanted but the home was in need of major cleaning and On Call Services has been great about making sure I get the service I need. It is not completed yet but so far, I am thrilled with their response.

    It went great! They were right on time and knew what they were doing. We did some pre-work by removing a stair railing, removing a couple of doors, and moving all other furniture was out of the way. (This was our choice -- they didn't ask us to do this. We wanted all possible obstacles removed so that the job could go quickly and easily.) When they assessed the situation, they decided they needed to disassemble the sectional prior to moving. (We didn't realize it came apart as it had been delivered to us years ago already assembled.) They were fast and knowledgeable. I had hoped it wouldn't cost as much as it did, but their quote was totally in line with another mover we had checked with and the price quoted was the price we paid. (The other mover, although they said they could take our job, didn't seem very eager to accept the job -- maybe because it was smaller -- and they couldn't accommodate our preferred date.) The photo attached to this review is of the sectional that was moved out.

    Ace Moving & Warehousing
    Very pleased with the move. Movers were prompt, packed and unpacked efficiently but also with no damage. The movers consulted me as to where furniture should be placed, and were very polite and professional. I have nothing but good things to say about ACE Midwest, and would choose them again. Their price was competitive and they came in under the estimate!

    Ace Moving & Warehousing
    After a slow start scheduling the bid process on our move, I cannot say enough great things about Ace. Ashley in the office was phenomenal dealing with paperwork and scheduling. Due to a hitch in our closing processes, our belongings had to stay with them for a week and they were so kind to us during that entire frustrating process. The actual guys doing the move (Marc and Dayton) were AMAZING, polite and kind and very cognizant that what they were packing/moving meant something to someone. They were constantly asking questions and were very efficient. Not a single regret in using Ace at all. They were the cheapest bid because of the location of our old house and new house being minutes from their main office. We were a bit concerned that may translate into care/attention. And at the end of the day, NOTHING could be further from the truth. They were so professional. Took the time to make sure pre-packed boxes were still secure. Wrapped our large furniture with extreme care, including my 55' 4K HD TV. I would use them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to any family or friend that I have with a move in the future.

    Shirtless Movers
    The 2 guys were fast and efficient. There were scuff marks on the wall but it was a tight squeeze in those areas. Overall, great value! I highly recommend them! (I had them leave their shirt and tie on. Must not be comfortable moving things shirtless and getting scratched.)

    U-Haul Moving & Storage at Coon Rapids
    "poor" does't begin to describe the treatment I received by the store/franchise OWNER, Bruce.  I went in at 7:00 AM this morning to pick up a trailer I had reserved the day before.  After an employee hooked up the trailer for me I drove up to the front and went back into the store to finish the paperwork for the rental.  
    I was happy that I was able to navigate the trailer in a tight spot in the parking lot, as it was my first time driving with a trailer.  As I approached the cash register, I lightheartedly mentioned this fact and said "not that it's rocket science"...  the owner mumbled under his breath "then why are you freaking out?".  Thinking perhaps I had misheard him, I said "what?", to which he responded "nothing".  Figuring he probably just had a dry sense of humor, I let it go.  
    As we were going through the process of getting the rental set up, he looked on the reservation on the computer and said "so it'll be back by 7:00 PM?  I said "well, probably, but this IS a 24 hour rental right?" because that's what I had been told when I made the reservation.  He responded by bluntly asking me if I needed the for 24 hours.  I said something to the affect of "I don't think so, I should have no problems getting it back by 7:00 PM, but you always want to leave some lee-way for unforeseen circumstances".  I started asking him if I would be charged more if it wasn't back by 7:00 PM.  He rudely interrupted me by saying in a very condescending manner "Do you need the trailer for 24 hours, hun?".  I asked him to please not call me hun as it was very disrespectful.  
    At this point he rudely said "I'll just change your reservation to 24 hours, but you're probably going to have to re-do your insurance selection" and began angrily tapping away at the computer keyboard.  
    I was appalled at the way he was treating me just because I was trying to figure out if, in fact, this was a 24 hour rental or if I would be charged an additional fee if it was returned after 7:00 PM (which would have only been 12 hours).  As he was typing I asked him if he was this rude to all his customers.  He said "NOPE- only YOU ma'am."  I asked him why he was being rude to only me.  He said "because you're being rude to me".  I asked him how I was being rude to him, to which he responded "You're being EVASIVE" ( I assume he meant because I wouldn't answer simply yes or no to weather or not the trailer would be back by 7:00pm).  
    At this point I was in total shock and said "wow".  He responded with "YEP!  WOOOOOWWWWW" as he was still typing.  I then began explaining to him that I had only answered the questions that the gentleman on the phone the previous day had asked me (I was trying to explain to him why it said in the computer that the trailer would be back by 7:00- because the gentleman had asked when I thought it would be returned by).  while I was trying to explain this, he cut me off by saying "you're right, I'm wrong....  you're female I'm male, that's how it works. 
    At this point I told him to go take the trailer off my vehicle, as I wasn't renting anything from him, to which he responded "PERFECT!!" before marching out to my SUV and unhooking the trailer.  
    This man has a chip on his shoulder the size of Texas and clearly has issues with women.  
    If you look on the 82 reviews for his location on the U-Haul website, while he has a relatively high overall rating, you'll find comments about his and his staff's rudeness or poor customer service in almost 20 percent of the comments.  Amazing he's still in business.  Too bad U-Haul allows him to keep his franchise when he is treating customers this way and doing an exceptionally POOR job of representing their company.

    I would have given all marks an A but one gent was late while the other 3 got working. 
    They did a fantastic job!!  They moved all of our heavy items with care and a speed that would make anyone's head turn. 
    They wrapped all the furniture with blankets, tape and securely moved them to their truck. 
    They did such an awesome job they had enough time to move the new houses old washing machine and dryer back to the old house. We could not leave our front loaders behind :)
    I would hire this company again to move, Great job fella's!

    Local Motion Moving & Storage
    Sam and Dan loaded a pod with our heavy furniture, many boxes, and other "stuff" (grill, tool chest, etc.). We already had the pod but knew we couldn't load it ourselves. Local Motion has this great deal: 2 movers for 2 hours for $50 per man-hour. Both men were kind, professional, and knew exactly which pieces would fit together to load the pod from floor to ceiling, all 16 feet! It was a tight squeeze, but Sam had assured us from the start that it would all fit, and it did -- in under two hours!

    The guys showed up right on time and got started right away. Being the middle of winter, they were kind enough to take off their shoes in the house until they laid down carpet protection. They were very efficient and listened to directions, and asking if something did not make sense. I only had them move half the items in the house so there was plenty for them to leave which they did. Upon getting to the new location, they were very careful as this house had new carpet. The placed all the furniture in the right places and even moved a couple items already in the house which was great. They were curteous, professional and as clean as they could be in the middle of winter. I will definitely be hiring them again.
