ABlessing CampbellReplaced lag bolts used by manufacturer with threaded inserts and bolts. Picked up the chairs and returned them ahead of schedule as they were told we needed them for a big family dinner. Only downside is that they convinced me to replace the felt on the bottom of the legs with teflon slides which were extra cost. I ripped those off after a week when I noticed that the hardwood floors were getting scratched. Placed them with felt again which I feel is much more practical.- Pete N.

FMN Plumbing & Appliance InstallationLet me tell you a story of incompetence. The first visit finds that my appliance won't fit under my counter and I need to modify it. The technician tells me he will put on his work notes that an Electrician should come with when they return to finish the installation. He also tells me to ask for an Electrician to be scheduled when I call back. Okay, counter is modified, call back the next day to Best Buy. I specifically ask for the Installers and the Plumber to come the same day. Best Buy says no problem and "schedules it". MN Plumbing calls the next day to confirm, and tells me they won't send an Electrician. I ask again, but she refuses and confirms my install. Fine. They call again the day before our appointment as a reminder and I ask for an Electrician to come out, they again refuse to send one at the same time. Fine. The DAY of the install, MN Plumbing calls me to cancel because based on the last tech's notes, the dishwasher won't fit. I tell them it's handled and she says "oh, I'll tell them the install is still on". Installer gets here, slaps it in and says you'll need an Electrician. No duh. I call MN Plumbing back and schedule an Electrician for the next day and my third waste of PTO time. On that morning I'm called to see if I would like to schedule an Electrician to come out. Good thing you're a contractor, I'd never hire you.- Ryan O.

CLowe'sThey could improve their communication. The best part was, they had a product that would fit my house. I have a town home built in 1989 and the cupboards were built around the refrigerator, so the new refrigerators don't fit my space. So Lowe's was the one that carried the brand that I wanted that would fit into my space that I have in my kitchen. I would use Lowe's, but not that location.- CHERYL S.

FASHLEY FURNITURE HOMESTOREWe had a 5 year warranty for our furniture. The warranty does not cover what we were let to believe it would. It covered the wood on our end table, but not the wood on the sofa. It only covers the fabric on the sofa, not the wood.- Ray & Elizabeth A.

AWarner'S StellianWe are currently remodeling our kitchen and wanted new stainless steel appliances. My husband and I stopped at Warner's Stellian, not expecting to buy that day. They had an excellent selection to choose from. The salesman was very nice and didn't try to sell us something we 'didn't' need. We thought one brand was better because of the price. He said it wasn't true and showed us another brand, which we found out later from reading reviews on line, he was definately right! :)

ATim Belden Piano ServiceTim was a little late due to miscommunication about my address. He was very apologetic about being late. When he arrived, he quickly went to work tuning the piano. It took longer than he expected because the piano was very out of tune and he found a part that needed to be fixed. He also gave me some guidance about maintaining my piano. He did a great job and I will hire him again!

ASteves Appliances IncEvery contact we've had with Steve's has been great. Products are about the same price as a big box store, but the service is substantially better. Installers are careful and polite; sales is knowledgeable and/or will look stuff up while you wait.

FQuality Used Appliances LLCWhen I bought these on June 1st, the owners wife was very nice and informative. Since delivery, I have been dealing with countless excuses and unprofessionalism. I call and no one seems to know what is going on and no one is responsible for knowing. They don't not show up (without calling) for appointments. The excuses have included: three deaths, a heat stroke, forgotten tools, tied up at another client's home, stuck in traffic, wrong part ordered, replacement appliance does not work last minute, didn't have your phone number, didn't get your message, don't have you on the schedule, etc. I looked on the BBB website and see that many other customers have experienced the same things. They still have a A- score because he finally offers them something for their inconvenience. Most don't even respond, so the BBB considers this "resolved".
The first delivery appt. for delivery was a no show. The next day the drivers did show (over an hour late) and scratched the refrigerator doors and gouged my walls. They said that they forgot their back straps. The installer was a no show that night.
The next day, the installation guys were an hour late because they "forgot their tools". At that time they showed up with the repaired refrigerator doors. The handles still had deep scratches and were just painted over. I let them know that the oven did not work. They were their to install the microwave above the oven and the dishwasher. They were not able to finish the install because they did not have the right fitting part for the dishwasher and their drill went dead. Later in the owner showed up (I was not home) and did the installation. He also tried to repair one of the two wall gouges.
I called to let them know that the microwave did not heat. I also told them about all the missing parts and other repairs needed. Since then, I have been given the above excuses and have scheduled countless appointments for repair (missing work mind you) and they are hours late or don't even show up without a call. If it is during business hours, I am told that they are are "on their way" or they can't get a hold of the driver. I have been without an oven now for a month in a half.
One night I left work early as he was "on his way to my home". I got home and waited and waited. I decided to go to the store to see what was going on this time. I drove around the back and found the family working on a vehicle. He said that something came up and that he left me a message. I told him that this was getting old and that I never got a message. He told me he would show me the message and waived me in to follow him. He said he must have the wrong phone number. On one of the messages I left, you could tell that he added an extra loop to make the zero in my number look like an 8. He confirmed that he did indeed leave a message at this number. I called the number that was changed and it was not a working number. I told him that he could not possibly have left a message. He assured me that he would be at my home the next day to renew my faith in them.
At first I felt sorry for them, they seemed to be running into a lot of issues. Now after weeks of run-around and countless excuses and no shows, I've had enough. My cousin and I went in there to see what was truely going on and why he did not show up this last time as scheduled. The owner said that he got tied up at another home and that he indeed did text me (which he did not). He said he could come to my home that day; however, he could not give me a time. I asked him if I could get that in writing and he blew up and said that "He was done with me". I opened the door to the back warehouse and told him that if the repairs were not made today that I would "see him in court". He said to go **** ourselves. On the way out a customer asked what was going on and I told them that I have appliances that don't work and told them what the owner just told us. Soon I received many texts from the owner telling me that he was going to sue me for trespassing and slander. He said that he was going to mail me the parts and he wouldn't honor any warranties. Later, he said that if I still need my appliances repaired that I would have to deal with other people at his store because, "He was done with me".
My first microwave I bought did not heat so I went in to pick out a new one. I got a call an hour after my scheduled delivery time stating that now the new one I chose did not work now and that they will be bringing a replacement. The delivery driver will come some time in the day, they could not give me a time. Thank god my roommate was home because I don't have the type of job where I can be home all day waiting again. The replacement microwave has a huge dent right in front on the stainless steel. the dishwasher was partially repaired. It now has a black twist tie to keep the top sprayer in place. They did bring my refrigerator bins. I went back in to let them know I would not except the microwave. The owner told me that the microwave I got was just fine and he is not letting me choose another. I told him I would not accept a microwave I did not pick out. He said I would then have to pay for a $50 installation charge and walked away from me. The owners father or father-in-law came out and I told him the story. He then went in the back and came out to tell me that I could choose a new one with no installation since I have been so patient with the oven repair.
As for my oven, there has been parts on order supposidly for the past month in a half. I called yesterday to see if the newest one ordered was in (as it was supposed to be in last week) and the owner's wife went off on how she has people sick in her family and she is swamped. Later, I called again and got someone new. She was very nice; however, I never got a call back as promised. I have many of these correspondences on texts and emails. We'll see what excuse I'll get when I call today...
Currently I still waiting for the following parts and repairs:
Oven circuit board, it gets an error code and beeps after being plugged in for 10 minutes.
Dishwasher repair...they simply used a black twist-tie to keep the part in place.
A silverware basket and the bottom cover/grill for the dishwasher.
The newest microwave I picked out...The first two did not work and they brought a replacement with a big dent.
New refrigerator handles and the bottom cover/grill.... The handles were damaged in delivery along with my walls.
Well it is now going on 3 months and I still haven't got anyone to show up for the scheduled appointments. Countless excuses continue and that is if I get a response at all. Recently my refrig and freezer went on the blitz. I let the owner know that it seems to get warmer every day. I could not wait any longer or I would have lost all my food so I had to get it fixed on my own. The repairs came to $300. More than what I paid for the appliance.
Now going on over 4 months... I got an apology; however, still appointments were made and no one showed. Time after time.
Going on month five. Got a text today asking if they could come by. I did finally get my oven fixed and my dishwasher. YEH. Just a few more things to go...

AFirst Class Creations IncI got in touch with First Class Creations Inc Company via email. I got a preliminary estimate via email. They then came out and unlined our deal. I had estimates from three other companies. I felt that the person from First Class Creations Inc Company seemed to be more responsive and attentive to detail than the representatives from other companies. He was personable. I have decided to hire First Class Creations Inc Company and I would recommend them to others. I would consider using them again in the future.- Matt M.
