Allen was honest and let us know that our shower needed a re-tile and not a re-grout. We are happy we didn't spend money on a short-term fix that could fail. Thanks!

She is wonderful and really quick. Has a fisty personality but very fair. I just love her. Scooter, Tiffany II and I miss you much. 😊😚

Amanda does an amazing job when grooming my three, she is willing to hand scissor so that their hair lies flatter. She knows her stuff about dogs and grooming many different types of breeds. She has done my Golden Retrievers, Havanese and other breeds. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a groomer. After reading the reviews I am not sure who they are talking about as Amanda is the only owner of Bark Avenue.

Service and results were better than expected. Communication was prompt, clear, and pleasant. Our dog will be coming back here. (The feeling was mutual; he liked it there and behaved well for them.) Wendy clearly runs a great shop, and Erin(sp?) who performed the work is highly skilled, kind, and calm.

Fabulous! Maggie is a new rescue dog with "issues" about grooming. Joe and John double-teamed her and even said she could come back again. I was very, very pleased.

Our dog smelled good, but the nails were barely trimmed (no noticeable difference), her anal glands were not expressed, which was the main reason for the visit.

Waited a month to post because I was too upset. I came in with an over grown mini schnauzer and left with a shaved dog (unevenly shaved at that) who now looks like a chihuahua. The appointment was almost 3 hours long, I assumed I hadn't heard from the groomer because she was being meticulous on doing the typical schnauzer cut as we discussed. Boy was I WRONG!! I couldn't get out of there fast enough when picking up my dog. Jessica seemed to want to chat about my dog's behavior, and boast about how "cute" she was while I fought back tears and wanted the total so I could pay her and get the **** out of there. My boyfriend called to discuss where the miscommunication occurred and although she apologized, she stated I said it was OKAY to shave my dog. At check in, Jessica asked me how she's been groomed before and I was very specific. Trim brows so she could see, leave legs long, shave belly (it was matted badly during quarantine), keep her skirt long and keep her beard long just like a typical schnauzer. She found a tangle in her beard and I told her Petco has always been able to trim underneath to get it out or brush it out. Never did I EVER instruct her or give her permission to completely shave my dog. Please make sure to go on her website and read her bio before choosing to come here. I have always taken my puppy to Petco in Eagan and the lead groomer there does a PHENOMENAL job. (I just couldn't get an appointment with them for a while and decided to support a smaller local business instead and it totally backfired.) Two stars because she did give her a bath, good job on the nail trim and male who initially booked the appointment was super friendly.

The customer service is HORRIFIC... In response to COVID-19 impacting small businesses I made it a point to find a new local small business groomer for my dog. I got the recommendation for this groomer from our neighborhood app on Facebook. My first experience was calling to book the grooming appointment. To start, the women who answered was very rude. Like caught me off guard rude. Also there was no confirmation of what services I was booking. I wasn’t sure if it was just a wash, hair cut, nail trim, etc. I decided to go ahead and chalk it all up to stress and the strange times we live in right now. Then, when I dropped my dog off I was told it would be 2 hours. Well, I was never told this when booking so when I booked I allotted 4 hours like my previous groomer used to tell me. I did not have access to a car or care for my small children when they called to pick up the dog. My previous groomer would just hold my dog in a kennel until pick up. Never a problem. We received a second rude call when on our way to pick up the our dog stating they cannot hold our dog due to COVID-19, etc. Again, NEVER informed of this at either the time of booking or at drop-off. I had really hoped this would work out as I would rather put my money into my community rather than PetSmart. However, I will not be returning and will be sure to update our neighbors on our experience so they can make an informed decision.

We started using Brookview Pet Grooming early in 2019. We liked the services, and so did our two terrier mixes. When I called for our 3rd appointment whoever took the call could not find our client information. She took down everything again, and did make the appointment. The next time I called, in January 2020 for an appointment in March, they could not find our information for the 2nd time. I gave them our contact info again, and made the appointment. When I called an hour before the appointment to confirm, she did not have it scheduled. When I pointed out that this was not the first time they had mishandled our information, she got very angry, implied that I was lying (for what reason I cannot imagine) and told us that we were no longer acceptable as clients.
