I felt taken advantage of on two instances at this clinic. In the first instance, Dr. Dejong recommended a tooth extraction for my Golden Retriever. Upon putting my dog under and taking X-Rays, they determined the extraction was not really necessary. They still charged me full price. In the second instance, I brought my cat in because I believed he was not feeling well. Dr. Dejong ran up the tests and procedures without explaining costs (Including xrays) in the end, the final diagnosis was "Gas" and I was stuck with a $400 bill.

They’re amazing. One of our cats has a degenerative disorder known as 20 years old, he’s a very old cat. The wait time isn’t long. They are very on top of their scheduling. Basically, you just walk in hand the animal over and you go right in. They interact very positive with the cat, or as positive as you can interact with a cat. The best thing about them is how well they explain things to you.

    The Canine Coach LLC
We had a great experience with both the in-home training and the class. Our trainer, Sadie, was excellent! She was extremely knowledgeable, explained clearly what she was doing and what we could work on after she left, and had our dog taking treats from her hand by the end of the session at our home (this was huge). I also loved that the prices are clearly communicated on their website and there were no hidden or extra charges or any pressure at all to purchase more training/services. In fact, if anything, our trainer reassured us that we could continue the work she started with us on our own. The class we took through Canine Coach was also really helpful at teaching us what we can do so our dog knows we're in control and thus doesn't have to react. They had small class sizes and a nice facility (St. Louis Park location). Of course we still have work to do to implement what we learned consistently, but we have seen great improvement. Sadie had mentioned we could email her anytime we had questions and she was very prompt and helpful responding to emails both in helping us select the right group class for us and in finding boarding for our reactive dog (email communication was no extra charge). We look forward to taking more classes through Canine Coach and highly recommend them!

It was fabulous. We had Jake at the St. Louis Park site. We are excited to be going back in a couple weeks for the 4 weeks of Obedience level 1 with Jake again. It is more than worth it to train your dogs for the whole family, and community when walking to enjoy fully. We have always had terrier breeds because we love their attitude and personality that is so strong. This is our 3rd terrier, an adorable Welshie...who is very determined, and we wanted the extra support so that we keep her safe in all of her exploring inside and outside of the house. Highly recommend Canine Coach!

    Whiskers To Tails Petsitting
It depends on who you get for a sitter. We consistently get one person who is excellent but one time we got someone who was so-so. When you sign up, you always know who you're getting. They obviously like the animals, they adjust what they do according to the animal's needs. They send reports and you can choose how often you get reports by email. They could work on by making sure that everyone is as good as the person we usually get.

    Apache Animal Clinic & Hospital
Puppy had scratched cornea and hurting eye on a Saturday morning.  Was able to get appointment the same day.  .  Dr. looked at puppy's eye under ultra violet to verify corneal scratch vs eye infection.  Rx 2 eye ointments.  one for pain and one for antibiotic to prevent infection.  Vet and Tech put in first dose eye meds to show me how.  Puppy recovered with in a couple of days.  Had follow up appoint already scheduled for shots the following Tuesday.

    Takin' Care of Business
Takin' Care of Business is the innovative handy gal every housewife, or independently strong woman or man is looking for. This company is always flexible with their schedule especially if I need them over the next day for a mudding job in the house, or a clean up in the yard or gutters. Kay is having her company film my wedding this fall, and I couldn't feel more confident and at ease with how it will end up going! I've never trusted a company like this before.

    Lake Harriet Veterinary
Expensive, predatory, and unethical ? run away from LHV!
LHV claims to provide a combination of holistic and
traditional medicine, however in the time that we used them they provided no holistic
recommendations for veterinary care. In fact, when we asked for advice on
feeding a raw diet to one of our pets they suggested we look online and check
out some books. Additionally, their services are overpriced when compared with
    their competitors.
Perhaps the scariest thing of all is that this clinic does not obtain informed consent from the pet
owner prior to performing tests and taking action. We went in to get updated
vaccinations for our dog and instead they whisked her away, claiming to hear
crackling in her lungs, and performed a slew of unnecessary and expensive
tests, leaving us with an unexpected bill of $465, with no vaccines. This type
of action is unethical and literally meets the definition of veterinary malpractice
(i.e., not obtaining informed consent). When we asked for a credit or refund
back afterwards they claimed that they were acting in our best interests and
flat out refused. Even when we filed with the BBB they refused to provide us
    with resolution.
We have since filed complaints with the MN Board of
Veterinary Medicine and the MN Attorney General?s office. At this point I don?t
even care so much about the money as much as I just don?t want anyone else to
fall victim to LHV?s scummy, fraudulent, and predatory practices.
Anyone considering LHV should run far, far away. Don?t fall
victim to their claims of providing holistic treatment. You?re better off taking
    your pets nearly anywhere else.

    Whiskers To Tails Petsitting
Whiskers to Tails has an extensive questionnaire we were asked to complete prior to a site visit from Jennifer about a week before our trip date. Jennifer went over the forms thoroughly and was able to answer any question we posed. She met with our cat and toured the areas of our home the cat prefers to spend time in. She asked appropriate questions about feeding, toy and play preferences of our cat, litter box cleaning and disposal, etc. During the interview, we learned that Jennifer was a Vet tech. and very comfortable with all animals, particularly cats. Since our cat had just recently been diagnosed with kidney disease, that put us very much at ease.
We returned home from our trip while Jennifer was making her evening visit. Everything was very much in order in our house --- mail neatly stacked, cat feeding area clean, litter boxes noticeably cleaned earlier that same day ---- and Jennifer was wearing shoe coverings --- a nice touch we hadn't discussed. And our cat? Well, she barely even noticed we were back home. That speaks volumes about the care she received during our absence.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. This was the first time I was leaving my 14-month old puppy with a stranger for a long-period of time. We went in about a week before to not only see the facilities but also do a test run. The facilities were very home-like and they took special care of each animals individual needs. My puppy was definitely a little nervous, which I expected, but I was pleased at how the entire experience went. Both the owner and the employees that work there were no compassionate and wanted to ensure the experience for both pet and parent were great. My puppy came back tired which meant a week of play-time with other puppy friends. It did take her a day to adjust but they kept an eye on her to ensure she was eating and feeling as comfortable as possible.
