Mr. How Do You Do It Inc
Wow! Ben was the easiest person I ever worked with, did a great job and knows how to do just about everything! he is definitely more than a "handyman". He will be our go to person form now on! I will post pictures at a later date

    Chuck's Repair
They did a good job. They were flexible because at first we didn't have the treads and we had to reschedule. The price was good because we had another estimate which was higher.

    Good quality.

    Dave's Handyman Services
The experience from start to finish was wonderful!  Dave responded to my phone call the same day.  He was able to stop by my house and provide an estimate within 2 days.  I knew I wanted crown molding installed, but I had no idea how many types there were.  He gave me good feedback on what would look best in my home.  He shopped around and got a good price for the materials.  He painted the crown molding and had it installed within a week.  I'd definitely hire him again!

This is the second time I've used Ben and he is great. He came to the house, went through the items that I wanted completed and then went up to Menards to get the items. He even called to confirm that I wanted the two door knobs to have the same key. Very thorough, fast and friendly. I will definitely hire Ben again in the future.

Jim was always punctual and he cleaned up and removed all of the debris from the job.  He did everything we asked him to do and we have other projects that we will be hiring him for.  He is an excellent handyman and I would trust him with handling jobs big and small.

    Affordable Design Builders and Remodelers
They reached out to me right away after I purchased the Big Deal. I didn't have a project at the time for them, but I purchased it because I assumed I could find a future project for them and it was a good deal.

Both of the gentlemen that came out were wonderful.   They did the work and explained what the could and couldn't do and they then cleaned up after themselves.  Great job and yes I would hire them again.

    WORKING FOR YOU
Rob and I did a bit of emailing back and forth and some phone calls to set up a date to see what I had in mind for the job. I had originally wanted to replace floor, tub and tub area walls with tile.  I went to a tile company and purchased stone tile for the floor and ceramic for tub area. It turned out to be a lot bigger job than what I had anticipated it would be. It took 4 and a half days to complete. Rob did a very thorough job and his work is very neat. He always picked up after himself and cleaned up any messes.   His job performance was excellent and he was a perfectionist - I think that is part of the reason it took 4 and a half days.  He is a very personable man and I trusted him in my home alone. The only thing that I would have preferred was a better estimated bill, with supplies listed separately and total number of hours. He just gave me a piece of paper with the amount he charged for labor and the materials he purchased.

    House Doctors
We had replacement windows installed recently and needed the windows and trim stained and finished.  Since we both work fulltime, we decided to use Angie's list, plus the clock was ticking on getting the work done before the weather got cold.  Additionally, we needed a faucet replaced in our main bathroom.  A handyman service looked to be our best option.  After going through the list of possibilities, we chose House Doctors because of their good reviews and proximity to where we live.
I contacted them via an online form and waited for a response.  It did not happen as quickly as I hoped, so I then emailed the same information and heard back promptly.  I wanted to arrange a time for an estimate rather quickly, but this also did not happen quite the way I had hoped.  Eventually, an estimator came by and, to my great relief, he was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.  The person who did our work was very professional and thorough.  His attention to detail was outstanding, both the window trim and faucet turned out very well.  He also cleaned up the areas that he worked in to our satisfaction.  Other than a few problems initially with contacting and getting the estimate, this was a wonderful experience.  We recommend House Doctors for similar jobs of this type.

    Handyman Matters Twin Cities
Called company to schedule quote on a variety of projects - inside and out including painting, drywall repair/replacement, sand/restain bay window shelf, damage to soffit/fascia due to storm damage, window replacement, etc. Receptionist inquired whether there was roofing damage. I indicated only 1 shingle was bent and primary jobs were unrelated to the roof. She stated "you'd probably be better off contacting a company who does roofing and siding repairs". She didn't even listen to the job list.  My first contact with a company on Angie's List - pretty disappointing.
