  • They look fabulous! He had to come back, so we waited, but we are thrilled with the final coat. I think they look better than when we had them layed. He did 3 rooms, including a kitchen. We received 3 bids and I was impressed with him from the onset. He was the middle bid and did a wonderful job.

  • I am Senior and could not lift the door . Therefore, I could not get the door up. Just too heavy. They rearranged a appointment to get me sooner! I was very impressed! They repaired the door and were very neat and prompt. I recommend there service. Price was reasonable and they did a service check on the whole door. Including lubricant and adjusting. Thumbs up!

  • Julie and Emily always arrive right on time as agreed and go a fantastic, ship-shape job. They pay careful attention to detail and are fast, friendly (but not overly friendly nor chatty) and trustworthy. You won't sorry for using this service! Very fair pricing.

  • When he came out he did not bring anyone out to pump the system so he could look at it with the camera. He walked around the property and look down the pipe for the septic system with the flashlight and did not pass it. And charged $440 for what he did. No receipt was given at time of service. We had to call and ask for the reports and still we did not get the reports. Our realtor had to call him to get them. When he was called to discuss the matter of the job not being done as it was supposed to be done he was rude called my mother a piece of work and would not refund cost.

  • Curtiss was prompt and had the problem fixed (bad capacitor,) in about 15 minutes. He then made a thorough check of the system to make sure there were no other issues. He was patient as he explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. I will definitely use them again if and when the need arises.

  • I've had a terrible experience with Fred's Plumbing/Heating/Air Conditioning.  We called them to our house on 5/27/216 after our air conditioning went out.  The technician showed up and 15 minutes later told me the capacitor was out since my fan was still running but no cool air was coming through the house.  He grabbed a new capacitor and came back later in the day and installed it. I paid him in full at the time of the visit.

The next day our air went out again and I called Fred’s and the technician came back and told me the Freon level was low.  He filled up the Freon and left.  He said we should be good to go and I paid in full.  I was very confused on why the Freon wasn’t checked the previous day, but was happy the situation was fixed.

At 1:30 AM on 6/19/2016 (23 days later) the air conditioning went out again.  This was on Father’s Day and we were going to have all of the Grandpas over for a celebration, but had to cancel because it was 90+ out and didn’t want anyone to become ill.  I called Fred’s at 7:30 AM on Monday and someone by the name of A*** answered the phone.  I explained what is going on and he told me that he will have the service technician call me after 10:00 AM CST because I was on a conference call until then (I work from home).  The service technician showed up at 9:15 and started knocking on my door.  I was upset because I was on the phone and I had my pajamas and robe on.  If he would have called me at 10:00 AM like I had informed A***  I could have been appropriately dress AND would have been off of my business call.  The technician looked at the AC unit and told either we had a Freon leak or someone was stealing our Freon.  He said he would be back that afternoon to place dye in the furnace so we could fins the leak.  After he came back he also told me that I owed their company money for the previous 2 visits (which I paid in full).  I reminded him that I did pay in full and he said they have a new billing girl and she must have messed up.

On 6/23/2016 the technician stopped by our house to check on Freon and he said everything looked good and the problem is fixed.  He asked me to call him if the air went out again.

On 6/24/2016 (next day) the air went out again.  I called A*** at 5:00 PM and he said that they could not make it to our house that evening because all of their technicians are booked.  He said they could make it out on Monday though.  We have small children (4 and 2) and there is no way it would be healthy for them to spend the weekend in 90+ heat and humidity all weekend, especially after we’ve had Fred’s to our house 4+ times and they had fixed nothing.  At this point I told A*** I would be reaching out to one of him competitors so solve the problem.  He then back tracked and said he asking me if Monday was okay and they could probably make it work this weekend.  I decided to move forward with one of their competitors who came to our house that evening and discovered the issue was not a Freon leak and fixed the problem within 30 minutes.  A*** told me that they focus on fixing the issues as cost effective as possible, but I paid a large sum of money to this company to fix something that wasn’t even the issue.

I feel like this company either sent me an incompetent technician or they were purposely charging me for unnecessary visits.  Their customer service was terrible, A*** was very condescending, and every time I tried to voice my concerns to someone else at the business I was told “It’s an honest mistake”.  How many mistakes can a company make and still call it honest?

Please do not work with this company.

  • Chad from Lofgren construction came out and gave us a bid on tearing off our garage roof and installing a new one.  We agreed to his price and he brought some samples out for our approval.
He scheduled the work for the next Wednesday.  His crew was on site on Wednesday and they finished the roof in one afternoon.  Clean up was great!!  Chad came out and looked at job and we had one complaint about some trim near the door, which was minor  but he told us it would be fixed the next day.
Chad was a very down to earth and personable guy. he did what he said he was going to do and we would definitely use his company again.

  • I knew my shingles were in bad shape but when my insurance company said fix it or your property insurance will be cancelled, I knew I had to go to work getting bids.  I joined Angie's List for this very reason.  From the beginning, Wright-At-Home Services provided the best service of any others.  While thier estimate was not the lowest, from the quality and detail of their proposal to the material and workmanship warranites, my husband and I did not hesitate to contract with them for our new roof.  Michael Mark was the estimator who met with us at our home.  He is a very nice and knowlegable guy.  He is not over the top pushy to get you to commit on the spot and asked that we let him know if any other bids came in lower as he wanted an opportunity to compete with them and that he did.   Once we signed the contract and faxed it in, it was just a matter of an hour or so before Jericha called and set our installation date and gave me details of what to expect etc.  She was also very nice and knowlegable.  The crew arrived early on a very cool and windy day and completed the project in less than 9 hours - including an emaculate clean-up.  Other than the dumpster in the driveway there was not one bit of evidence that they had even been there - except for a brand new awesome looking roof!  I would not hesitate one bit to hire them again!  Thank you for providing such quality workmanship and service!

  • I actually joined Angie's List just to find an inspector.  Let me say, I was not disappointed.  Everything went well.  Dave was a little late, but he was still able to complete the inspection in the allotted time.  He made sure he didn't rush, but instead took extra pictures and used them later when compiling his report.  I have shown the report to many family members and they were all impressed as they have never seen an inspector take that much time to pay attention to detail.  He left the property of the inspection and in less than 11 hours he completed a 35 page inspection report (with 2 more ahead of ours)!  I would wholeheartedly recommend Dave for any of your home inspection needs.  He is very friendly, listens, goes above and beyond what most do, and mostly, he just is the best value.  Least expensive and best?!  The only issue you may have is getting him.  He is always busy  :)  Thank you Dave for a wonderful (not at all painful) first home inspection.  I will use you again when the time comes.

  • We had flat siding that needed to be replaced. The owner kept telling me that they needed to tear the siding off. After two times of going over everything, he convinced me to take the siding off. I then realized that they didn't take it off at all, and he just went over it. Overall, things just kept happening that I wasn't too happy with. At one point, I asked the owner, who works for him and he stated they train their own crews. When the workers showed up to complete the project, they stated it was their first time they had worked for them. We even asked them to come back to cauck the windows and they still aren't caucked correctly. From talking with them and agreeing with what they were going to do, they finally started the project in September. Overall, I was dissatisfied with the entire project.
