ANorthland Fence MinnesotaNorthland Fence was great start to finish...competitive pricing and they showed up on time when they said they would...crew was efficient and professional and the job was completed in the time frame agreed upon... There was a small misunderstanding on what I wanted on one section of the fencing that quite honestly was mostly my fault however without complaint Northland came out not once but twice to make sure we were satisfied because of this I have no doubt that we will be well cared for in the unlikely event of a future warranty issue I cannot recommend him highly enough...I have attached a pic of the completed project it is a combination privacy fence and black chain-link fence however it’s so big it would not fit into the entire picture frame so apologies for that needless to say we love our new fence and I think our pups do too.... ADesigner FenceThe project went exceeding well in difficult circumstances. Several contractors (including others on Angies List) would not quote the project due to time of year or material shortages - John Bloom of Designer Fence said he would and did. The weather was cold, John had to scour the countryside for materials, his team worked late days and weekends and got the job done on time. In addition to material availability issues, I live in an area with a difficult building inspector/permit process and John navigated that without issue. Two of my neighbors really like the work and asked for John's contact information as a result. The whole process was very nicely done and professional.- Stan C.

The materials were excellent quality with 10-year installation and 15-years on materials. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and our job was completed in the time frame they gave us. AAwesome! Rob was so easy to work with. Communicated well and was willing to work around some other work we were having done in the yard. His crew was very nice to talk to and respectful of my property (as well as my neighbors). It looks great and my neighbors also think it is a beautiful looking fence. I would hire them again in a blink, everything went very smoothly. I did get a couple of quotes from other companies but I appreciated Rob's style and how quickly he got back to me. He was right in line with others. I did have one company give me a bid that was higher and I had scheduled it with them but when I checked their Angie's reviews they were terrible. Crossed them off and found Top Notch and I am very happy I did.

CThere were a number of issues that occurred in the building of my fence. The spacing of the pickets were not uniform, my gutter was damaged, the gates were not hung equal distance from the ground, my neighbor’s gate wouldn’t close after my new gate was installed. It was one thing after another. But I will say that the owner of the company listened to my concerns and fixed all the issues.

DWas told that they would not warranty a green treated fence so we went with cedar. Good communication when it was being installed and looked very nice. Later I found out they will not warranty their work. We had some warped and split boards and a bunch that were only nailed at the top, sent emails, no response. Paid $11,500 for a fence without a warranty.

AProject Manager Curt did a great job making sure materials and people were delivered on time and ready to work. The roofing crew was great. Curt drove down on a snowy January day to address a concern, fully explaining why I was seeing what I was seeing. When snow melts and the shingles warm, the issue should resolve itself without any intervention necessary. They have a good warranty, and Curt was very clear about rectifying any problems that may show up. I believe him.
