Chris Overson, who oversaw the actual work, was outstanding and a complete pleasure to work with. And all of their crews were great. They were all very hard working, did a superb job, and left the work areas clean at the end of each day. At a time when contractors are spread so thin, every effort was made to get someone to us in a timely manner to get through our rather piecemeal series of jobs to do. We made the decision to list our home, and when I reached out to them to let them know this, they found a way to bump us up a couple of weeks on the calendar. We have an older south Minneapolis home, so needless to say, things have settled. The doors each took some time to install, but they look great and they're level. The guys they sent in were friendly (it can be quite awkward having people in and out of your personal space, but they were always easy to engage with). We would definitely hire them again for future projects in our next home.- Trevor C.

AK2 Bath Deck & KitchenDustin Reece and Spencer did great work. They moved our shower, changed the cabinetry, installed floor tile and floor to ceiling tiles in the new shower area as well as adding a bench, removed popcorn ceiling, added can light, changed the door, and installed a sun tube. Dustin has a high standard for the quality of his work and continued working until all parts of the remodel met his expectations as well as ours. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a bathroom that we adored, and we do!- Emily M.

APatrick Miller Construction IncI was referred to Patrick Miller Construction by an acquaintance of mine. She had positive experience, and I would echo that I too had a positive experience especially since I have never undergone any type of renovation such as this one in my life. I will say that Patrick Miller Construction prides itself on customer service and transparency. They contract with professional crews who are timely and efficient. Dave Moshu, our sales rep, was extremely patient and attentive as we worked through the selection of colors and materials. He was always present as we moved through each new phase of the project. I feel like I met the entire Patrick Miller staff either in person or by telephone as they kept me informed as we completed a phase and prepared for the next phase. Patrick, the owner, even helped me with the door selection, and Deb was extremely apologetic when the siding was delayed due to the pandemic and their supplier. Scheduling was timely, and other than the delay in the siding supplies (due to the supplier and the pandemic, not Patrick Miller), the work for each project was completed in a timely fashion. I would definitely work with Patrick Miller again as we think about our future exterior projects (pergola) and can confidently recommend them to others.- Theresa A.

AHiring contractors can always be daunting and fearful that you’ll be taken advantage of. Adam at Black Ladder was incredibly helpful, guiding, and an all around pleasure. Our roof was done in a timely manner and looks incredible. Communication was always open and when there was in issue with insurance, Adam didn’t hesitate to reach out to them and have it cleared up immediately. I recommend Black Ladder to anyone in need and look forward to using them when we need to replace our windows (which will be soon!).

AWe went with New Windows and Bath For America to replace 7 of our windows and our back sliding door. We were very impressed with their salesman that came out and talked to us. Not only did he show us all the different products but listened to what we wanted to do and made suggestions to help our ideas come to life. He was not trying to push the most expensive products which was nice. He told us what he thought and then listened to what we wanted to do. We changed our front window which was 4 crank windows to 2 cranks on the side and one full picture window. It is amazing!!! Brings so much more light into the room which the salesman suggested. The back sliding door is a huge upgrade! We had cold air seeping through our old door and now we can stand barefoot by the back door with no problems at all. The total installation was scheduled for 2 days work which was no big deal to us. But the installers, (who were very courteous, funny, and on time) got the whole project done in 6 hours time. We were amazed! The company also called us the next day to see how things went and asked if we had any questions. We will definitely use this company again and recommend them to any of our friends. Thanks New Windows and Bath For America. We so appreciate all the work and love the job you did!
