  • As first time home buyers, my fiancé and I needed a realtor who was knowledgeable and willing to take the time to walk us through the process and support us through each step. We were so happy that we chose Steve as our realtor! After meeting him at an open house early on in our search and having a great conversation, we decided to contract with him and we never regretted that decision! He provided us a lot of detail, helpful recommendations and explanations of the process and procedures—especially while we were writing our offer. He was always honest and objective when discussing the property and looking at comps to make the right offer. Once our offer was accepted, Steve was very responsive via email, calls, and texts. He took a week of vacation and STILL responded to our emails and calls, even though he had directed us to another colleague who was able to handle things while he was away. Steve gave 100% effort throughout the entire process—from our first showing to closing. On short notice he made time for all the walk throughs, submitting the offer, and inspection. He was as invested in the inspection as the inspector was! He pointed out things that we should be aware of before the inspector even brought it up. Steve was also very helpful in working with us to identify items that should be included our updated offer after the inspection was complete. One of the most helpful things Steve did for us that we were not expecting was how he managed our lender! He was on top of all the deadlines and made sure to remind us what was needed. He checked in with our lender well before all the due dates and managed that relationship as well. Overall, we were very impressed by Steve’s professionalism, credentials, and process management. We only wish we took longer to find a house so we could spend more time with Steve, he was THAT good! Highly recommend to anyone!!

  • We were selling our townhome during the winter and when housing prices were lower than when we purchased. We knew we would take a loss, but Billy worked diligently to ensure we got the best price possible. We had an offer within 7 days, and we were able to get a price considerably higher than other townhomes in the area. I believe Billy's professional photography, 3D videos and staging suggestions were a key component to this process because we had a steady stream of showings. Billy and his team were also very responsive to any questions or concerns we had.

  • They found a tenant in about 2 weeks, after bringing me a couple of applicants.  Our agent was pretty responsive to all our questions and overall I was very pleased with his knowledge.  I've rented my townhouse on my own for about 7 years, but am traveling more and more so really needed to find help.  What they call their Tenant Placement service went great and I've just begun using them for management, but so far so good.
    I've had contact with 3 or 4 different people in their office on the management side, and have had good response to my needs.  My fingers are crossed that the experience continues as I am gone for the winter.

  • Bill was absolutely punctual, he got our house on the market in record time and he kept us apprised of all developments. A highly qualified buyer appeared in two days and put down 20% of purchase price in the hope of expediting the sale. We highly recommend Bill Pauling to anyone wanting a responsive, ethical, hard-working Realtor on his/her side!

  • My 2-page list of complaints to his superiors is too long to include here.  Basically, by his words and actions, he showed me that he was not working in my best interests.  He was always in such a hurry that he made mistakes.  He did not pursue important questions I had with regard to the potential buyer.  When we had an offer and agreed to a deal, he immediately removed the home from the MLS against my express wishes; we hadn't even had the buyer's inspection yet!  He charged 6.5% commission because he would "stage" the house himself - - it consisted of a few pieces of wicker furniture.
    Most importantly, he harassed me to within an inch of my sanity.  When I pushed back, he claimed that it was because the other realtor was pushing him.  So what!  He was supposed to be working for me - - not the other realtor or his client!  This caused me a great amount of stress.
    I had heard that he was very familiar with the neighborhood in which my father's house was located and that he was a top seller.  I should've checked around more.  I didn't realize that his hard-sell approach was really directed at his clients.  I would never go with Coldwell Banker Burnett ever again.

  • Dianne was professional, courteous, responsive, and pleasant from start to finish. We always felt comfortable working with her. She communicates well and kept us updated. She put a lot of effort into selling our (relatively small) home, doing frequent open houses and making very good suggestions to entice buyers. She was always polite, but was also candid and honest when necessary, which I appreciated. When we were looking at homes to purchase, Dianne arranged showings quickly and efficiently with our convenience (and short time frame) in mind. She was very genuine about wanting us to be happy with our experience and our home. We were very satisfied.
