  • It was an exceptional experience. I had two vendors and Mid State was actually more reasonable in price than the other vendor. What impressed me was the professionalism and responsiveness of this company when they came out to do the bid. Then I was notified about the timing to install and the installation was flawless. I would definitely recommend them.

  • Always fast communication. Came over and quoted the job after they were done with the neighbors project. We decided to proceed with the project and let them know. They came out within a week and took care of the job in a day. Cleaned up before they left. Quality work by some great folks. Would not hesitate to work with them again or refer them.

  • We would highly recommend B&R Hardwood and Tile. They managed all aspects of our master bathroom and master closet remodel. The end product is amazing!! Kurt and Carol provided excellent customer service and made sure we were happy every step of the way. It was also so fun to work with them - they are nice, down to earth people and always keep the customer’s best interests in mind. They have some of the best sub contractor contacts in the industry, so the quality of work is outstanding.

  • They showed up to a look at the faucet and said he needed to get the parts to fix it. My wife paid then $450 down. When he came back he put the parts in and she paid the balance of $488. I let her handle it. I didn’t know the cost until after the job was done. This company is ripping people off. I had gotten two other quotes that said it would be between $150 and $450. How can they charge over $900? That more than twice as much as anybody else. We live in a senior condo. They are ripping off seniors

  • I want to be fair here so I'll just relay my experience. I move into a new house on Saturday (from a different state) and on Monday morning (Labor Day) at 8:00 am., while still unpacking, there is about an inch of water in my finished basement. I looked and it was clear that the main line had backed up, which means that we had to stop using the water. It is a difficult situation with a toddler and in-law staying with you and no one can use the bathroom. Adding to that situation my wife was starting a new job teaching the following day. I called American Sewer after seeing the reviews and they indicated they could get someone out there between 1-3. That was later than I wanted to wait, but with it being a holiday I figured it would do. I get a call around 1 indicating that it will be between 3-5. At this time the difficulty of the situation was escalating, but I figured I had waited this long, what is another 2 hours? With it being a holiday I imagined it would be hard to get someone new this late in the day. Around 5pm I get the call that they can't make it. They were very apologetic and I even got a call from the owner which I appreciated. They explained that it was a difficult job that kept them and that this never happens. I don't have any reason to doubt the explanation they provided and again they were very apologetic. With that said I ended up paying about $600 more than I should have in order to get someone else out. I believe in honest reviews and that was my experience.

  • They were very responsive and professional. The manager Mike is a very good communicator, and the installer Mike did a nice job too. They corrected an oversight with pulling the permit as soon as I inquired about it.

  • Hiring Tharaldson was a great choice. The technician arrived on time and performed the services very quickly. The furnace and water heaters are all original (+15 years), but the technician told me they were both working perfectly. He even gave me a couple demos on some easy maintenance.

  • Service was great. Pricing was much higher than I expected. When I asked for a break out of parts and labor, company told me that they could not provide it. They stated that all jobs are quoted including parts and labor. My problem is this. Technician was at my home for about 2 hours. My bill was $1100. If I had to estimate parts costs, it would be about $ 200. This would leave a labor charge of $ 900 or about $450 per hour.

  • The project went smoothly and Kurt always kept us informed about the progress and the plan. There was a few days' delay due to a miscommunication with a sub-contractor, but Kurt worked hard to resolve that and get the project back on track. This is a very professional company, and we would highly recommend.

  • Good quality, professional service. Although, the initial appointment fell through and we had to reschedule. The regular scheduler was out when the initial appointment was made with someone else. We had to reschedule at the last minute because the plumber was double-booked. Things were good on the rescheduled appointment.
