    They did an exceptional job. The cabinets were beautiful. They even suggested and created a custom back for one of the cabinets that allowed us to slide open the cabinet wall to access an electrical outlet hidden by the new installation. You'd never know it was there and was a great addition since we did need it to power some A/V equipment.

    It took a while to get my furniture back, but I did tell Ed that I was in no big hurry. They came back looking new. A little plastic looking at first, but I figured out that was because there were no creases in them anymore. Once they were sat on a few times, they were excellent.

    Ruth Movers, Inc.
    My experience with Ruth Movers was a disaster! I would not recommend the services to anyone. 
    I decided to go with the highest priced option, Ruth Movers, as they had a good sales pitch and promised me that they would do the best job with my move. They told me how they are experts in moving furniture and would be able to complete the job the fastest and without any trouble. It is just my Wife and I, so I didn't expect the move to be too big of a deal, but we decided we wanted to avoid the hassle and leave the moving up to the Pro's at Ruth movers. Picking Ruth turned out to be a big mistake. While setting up the move, the lady on the phone told me it would be 4-6 hours based on the detailed form I filled out for them beforehand. Their per hour price (3 guys and a truck) is higher than many of the other options but I decided to splurge and go for the "best".  What I received was three slow, inexperience movers that took forever to get the job done. One guy told me he just started the week before, the other guy mentioned how his job is to boss around the other guys and didn?t do much work, it was a disaster. The three man crew would only do any moving when they were all together in a group, two guys lift, one watches.  As hours went by with so little to show for it, I decided I had to help out and ended up working my butt off with the crew to get it done. I also had to call in some friends and family to move some stuff in our own cars and trailer, but the crew still 10 hours to finish the job. Between the breaks, doing things like carrying in one pillow at a time, and taking their time on every task, the project took the whole day. I asked the lead on the crew if there was anything unusual about my move that was making it take twice as long as the estimate and the guy said "No, they just always tell people 4-6 hours and it usually takes double".  What a way to do business, get me to hire them by giving me one price, and then charging me an extra $1500!  I was not ready for that extra cost on top of buying a new home but who would be. 
    After the move, I contacted the company on Monday with my concerns and received a message back that day from Bre. She told me she was sorry about the trouble and that the Owner would review the info and get back to me.  They even told me it was a "High Priority" matter and they would be getting into contact with me soon. I was happy to hear that they were concerned and hoped they would do something to help out with the trouble I experienced. That was June 29th, I wrote again the next week after nobody contacted me and was told that they were talking to the crew about the move and would be contacting me shortly. Then another week went by with no response. I contacted them again on July 13th and no response again. Apparently they don?t care about their customers, it?s all about getting the jobs booked with them. Underquote, over promise, UNDER deliver and never call you back seems to be the way they do business. 
    Needless to say, I am very disappointed in the service I received from Ruth Movers. To charge me double the quoted price for a horrible, stressful move day with inexperienced / slow movers, and then didn?t even have the curtesy to contact me about the issues as promised. I would not do business with a company like this again. I can't believe they are even on Angie's list if they conduct business this way. Beware of this company and go with one of the many alternatives out there.

    They were punctual, informative and competitive pricing.  They were polite, thorough and clean.  I would recommend them.  They were fantastic.  They were respectful of laying down carpets; they move it in any path or direction.  They were on time and they are a little bit early and even called me to notify me of that asking if it was okay.  They were respectful and courteous both in the office and onsite.

    Appliance Smart
    While Ed from Appliance Smart was sincere in his efforts, the conduct and lack of professionalism by
    his team mates ultimately cost him the sale.  As we signed the necessary documents, we noticed that one of the tenants
    of the contract wasn?t listed on the final invoice.  Ed stated that it would be no problem to update this information.  Unfortunately
    for Ed, his co-worker took the computer to close a sale with his customer?s right in front of my wife and I; we even looked at each other and he displayed complete disregard for our time.  We needed one document. After 20 minutes of other customers receiving the help they needed and honestly at that point feeling like our purchase was inconsequential; we demanded a refund and did not want to do business with them.  While some aspects of this case stem from petty points, it demonstrated to us that once they had your dollar, they no longer cared about your concerns.  I would later on purchase the items in question for a little more at
    Lowes where I can say that I always receive great service.  That review will be out soon.  Buyer beware of Appliance Smart.

    Ernest and his team do excellent work. For two of my Queen Anne chairs and one ottoman, I had my own fabric. They turned out perfect and the work was done in about 2 weeks. For my two other chairs, one being a recliner that needed a few repairs, and the additional ottoman, I purchased my fabric through TC Upholstery. The work took about 3 weeks. The fabric and workmanship was top notch. My furniture was picked up and delivered free due to me being an Angie's List member.

    Kirsten was very responsive to calls, provided ideas to help improve the layout I had shared and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. He completed the cabinets quickly and had them installed within 2 weeks. I had a few things I wanted to have tweaked after the install and he came back and completed them shortly after I called. The quality of work he did for the price he charged was fantastic. I would highly recommend!
