  • I called expecting to schedule an appointment in the future, she was able to work me in the next day. Annie did her homework by asking what was happening with the machine, then requesting brand and model of my dryer. When she arrived she knew exactly how to quickly fix it and had the correct replacement parts right in her toolbox, making the job very efficient. Her price is extremely reasonable, a service call is much less than most companies I compared.

  • Kathy came the same day I called even though it was not an emergency. She explained what she was doing every step of the way. A bad unit was replaced and she demonstrated what was wrong with the original unit Upon leaving she explained that if this did not fix the problem she would return without another service. Very pleased with her service.

    • Called in the afternoon of 2/15/16.  Promptly received a call back.  Was given an arrival time of between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm on 2/16/16.  Tech arrived promptly at 10:00 am.  Dishwasher was repaired within 24 hours of contact.  Very good service.  I would use again.

  • Chad was great and I'd use him again.  He was later than I was expecting but I think perhaps I misunderstood what time we had set the appointment?  Regardless, I called him when he was 10-15 minutes later than I was expecting him and he was right down the street and at my home in minutes.  He quickly disassembled the machine and diagnosed the problem (a faulty door close sensor) and, based on his experience with my model, recommended replacement of part that is the "usual suspect" when this model machine breaks. I agreed as the part cost wasn't much, it was on his truck and he was on site.  Sure enough when he showed me the original plastic part, I could see where wear would have eventually caused failure (although who knows how long it would have taken to fail).  He rebalanced my machine better than it was before he started too. Chad really seems to know his stuff and I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.

  • Had them come out to fix the new dishwasher we purchased because it was not cleaning the dishes nor completely drying the dishes. Unfortunately, the day they came out, the cleaners had loaded the dishwasher. Despite the fact that I told him that I understand the cleaners did not properly load the dishwasher, I told him that I am the one who primarily loads it and I have tried several times with minimal dishes prior, and it still did not clean. He asked me if I knew how to load a dishwasher. I replied that I loaded our previous dishwasher and it cleaned the dishes without a problem, so yes, I know how to properly load a dishwasher. He left stating that he could not find a problem and to switch to liquid detergent and run the sink water until it is hot before starting the dishwasher.

  • The guys were very good, but they were expensive. I pay them a monthly charge.They were here for my washer and dryer as well. I thought I would have to replace them, but it didn't cost me anything. I have been using them for 14 years.

  • He didn't really do anything. He took it apart, looked at the belts, etc., and vacuumed it out. He said give a few mores rounds of clothes and see what happens. He said I may need a new motor, but didn't sound confident about that either. That would be an additional $114. My dryer is still making strange noises, but not the squeal it had before. I have a feeling it's going to conk out out me soon. I could've waited for that to happen if I knew that my $84 service call would tell me nothing.
    Also, my dryer is on the second level outside of the bathroom. He took it apart and laid the pieces on the carpeting. Shouldn't he have used a drop cloth or something? He also asked to used my vacuum cleaner to clean out the inside of the dryer. After criticizing my vacuum, he went and got his industrial vacuum out of the truck. Shouldn't he have used his own in the first place?
    He was pleasant enough, but did not seem confident in what he was doing or saying.

  • Denise in the office was very helpful in giving us a rough estimate.  She also gave us info on where to look for a new faucet.  She was very easy to work with and to scheduled the work.   On the day the work was done two employees of Paladin Plumbing arrived at our home right on time.  They were very polite and professional.  The young man got right to work on the gas line while the young lady started working on the kitchen faucet.  Both jobs were completed in an hour and they were on their way.  We had just had our hardwood floors refinished and they were very careful not to damage the new finish.  The cost came in a little less than we expected.  We would definitely use Paladin Plumbing for future work.

  • I called him and left a message.  He returned the call within a couple of hours.  As I described the problem to him, he understood the problem and knew the part that was needed.  He said he would check availability of the part and call me back.  He called back shortly and said the part would be in the Cities within two days.  He then scheduled a time to replace the part on the day after its scheduled arrival.  He provided a two hour window for the appointment.  He called on the day of the appointment to tell me when he was thirty minutes away. 
    It was a tough repair physically and he hung in there until the job was done.  He was careful to clean up any messes that were made.  He stayed to check the operation of the dishwasher and verified that all was working.  His charge for the work was probably less than what was actually appropriate to the repair.
    This is the third time I have used his service and he has always been  punctual, professional, and helpful in answering any questions I had.  I would never think of using anyone other than him for this type of work.
    It should be kept in mind that his is, apparently, a one-man operation.  Thus, if he's with a customer,  a call to him will probably go to his voice mail.  However, he has always returned my call in a timely manner.  On the plus side, when he is working on my project, he does not stop to take any calls.  He is focused entirely on the work at hand.
    I recommend him without reservation.

  • When our dryer went on the fritz, we contacted Direct Home Appliance Service and they were awesome. The phone lady was patient as I tried to figure out where the model number on the dryer was located. She took all the important info so the repair guys would have a better shot at having the right parts for the job. The two guys came on time and fixed the problem right away since they had possible problem parts along. It cost $69 to just walk through the door and then $20 for each additional 15 minutes. We were charged a total of $150 for about 40+ minutes of work and a new part, so pretty good I think. We are very happy.
