You won’t find a more professional company to deal with! Very responsive - calls/emails generally answered the same day. Work was done well and in the timeframe promised. Love working with family run businesses and this one is top notch! Our driveway and sidewalk look great!

We had several things we wanted them to look at, one our driveway had cracks in it and it was sinking. He looked at that, and he looked at how secure one of our walls were because this is an old lake place. He looked the whole thing, the perimeter over and everything. He did a really good job. He made an appointment with us which was yesterday. He wasn't the easiest to make arrangements with; it seems like he works all of the time. Then, he came to my house in town yesterday and showed us what he found. He had pictures and showed us what solutions they could offer and it had pictures showing us how it works and everything. We signed up for more than we asked him to look for. The price that he quoted us was so much less than we were expecting because that's a good deal; you know all the walls and stuff like that. So, the first go he quoted us $3,529, and that's for lifting that driveway. They also have a seal dry system. It's like an industrial dehumidifier. Because there's a lot of trouble at the lake where it's closed up sometimes and it just smells musty, even if it isn't closed up. You know anytime you're on the lake like that, there's a lot of humidity. I was really impressed and so was my son. Even as much important, he listened to us He was a good worker and looking for solutions to problems. He worked very hard to get those appointments with us at a time that worked for us. The first one my son was on vacation, so he wasn't able to be up there. His name is Paul he comes from St. Paul. The second one though was more difficult, we had to do it on a Saturday. He doesn't normally do that, but he did in this case because that's the only time my son could do that because he was back working. His responsiveness was good, it was us who was difficult. He really worked with us, to the point where he had to consult his wife his wife for the Saturday appointment. He was there before time on a Saturday, by about 10 minutes and he was there on right on the dot up at the lake. Absolutely, we will use him again, my son maybe using him in Lakeville too. For y needs the estimate was wonderful, we were expecting it to be much more expensive, that was a pleasant surprise.  I chose to go with them because there aren't a lot of companies, there are mud and jack companies. But, we were looking for someone to do the driveway, and they could look at that wall to see if it's secure. It turns out it needs some help, but you know this company can do it all, they can take care of both things. I guess that's my main reason.

We were under no tight schedule to get the apron replaced and were fine with the job being a filler job for a slower day/week. The asphalt was removed one day but there was a looming sprinkle storm possibly heading our way. It was just a light rain and he came back a few days later after the area was dry and proceeded with the concrete work. The work looks super great and it's been 4 months so far. The job looks so good, I'm considering option to add a patio area in the backyard and later replace the rest of the driveway in the next summer or one there after. Really pleased with the results!

Quality of work: Very good. The finished product looks good and closely matches what I asked for. Price: from what I can tell from other estimates I received, also very good. Concrete was substantially more expensive than asphalt, but I agree with the estimator that it's likely worth it. Communication: unfortunately, mostly poor. The estimator (Adam) was terrific, even coming back a second time to address some questions I had. The two-person demo crew (Drew and T.J.) were also very communicative, asking me how I wanted specific aspects done. Their demo of the old materials was swift, precise and clean; completely satisfactory and professional at this stage. On the other hand, the crew who poured the new materials was distinctly uncommunicative, even when I tried to ask questions. Though they seemed to interact a lot with each other while prepping and pouring, they seemed unprepared to answer my questions and concerns with anything more than one-word (insufficient) answers. Very frustrating! The two-man crew who came back a day later to put saw cuts into the driveway was right in the middle--somewhat communicative. Clean-up: good to very good (just a couple areas of cement **** to clean up, and some cement splash on the brickmold around the garage door). More about communication: I also experienced trouble trying to make phone contact with the company, both before and during the work. Out of a dozen phone calls I made, only four were answered, and one promised call-back (to me) never happened. I was notified just one day in advance of the demo work, and I got less explanation of what to expect in the rest of the process (over the phone, in advance) than I would have liked. I was also surprised, after the the work was done, that when I called to ask a question about "sealing" the driveway (something the invoice said was included--though the sawing guy wasn't sure if it had been done...), I was told that the driveway was only "quick-sealed", and that I should go purchase and apply a professional sealer (although the person on the phone cautioned me that it is now too late in the season--too cold--to still apply this important step. Knowing just that single piece of info might have made me commit to the project earlier than I did...). And finally: I really expected that, with a very positive Angie's List rating, somebody from the company would contact me once the work was done and the invoice was in the mail, to double-check that I was 100% satisfied. No such contact has been made. So, all in all: very good work, good price, below-average communication (except from the estimator and the demo crew, who were terrific). If everybody in the company communicated as well as the estimator and the demo crew, I'd be writing a completely positive review.

Shawn and his team exceeded our expectations. The project was well-managed and completed on time. The hard-working team was friendly, professional and actually fun to have working at our home. Questions were answered promptly and "the mess" was completely cleaned up. The workmanship on our concrete project is extraordinary: Shawn is a craftsman who takes pride in his work. He really cares about his projects and wants each one to be perfect.

Josh at Artisan Concrete Pro was fantastic!  He was punctual, professional, and did a great job - our driveway looks better than ever.  He was very meticulous and taped off everything so no stain could get on the siding, the landscape edging, or the rock work.  He took his time and made sure the driveway was totally clean and that the stain/sealant went on smoothly and evenly.

I was so impressed, I have already spoken to him about additional work we need done in the spring on our front and back stairs!  I would recommend Artisan Concrete Pro to anyone without hesitation.

Jordan and his crew arrived around 7:30 and were finished by 9.  He went over the plan in detail before they started and talked with me about expectations/warranties after they finished.
very professional job and i especially appreciated their punctuality.

This was part of an Angie's Big Deal.  The first day they came, I got a call from them and they indicated I would have a better product and be more satisfied if I made the apron larger to line up with my sidewalk.  It would cost extra money but they thought it would be worth it.  I'm glad he called and explained the option to me.  I approved the additional concrete and it was well worth it.  They did the work when they said and left the job site very clean both days.  I am very satisfied.

The work went smoothly from start to finish. They arrived on time to do both the prep work and pour the concrete, and were professional and clean. We paid extra for extra square footage outside of the "deal", and the price was very reasonable.

From beginning to end, A.C.T. Asphalt Specialties was wonderful. The job had many details, so I was very pleased with the care that the estimator & crew had with my project. They made sure to communicate to me exactly what they were doing, why they were doing it & they stayed on schedule. Our house looks great after this project! I would quickly refer this company to family or friends.
