College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving
Very well Dave's Team arrived at the time noted and pitched in right away. Team members Donte, Nathan, Dwayne, Tony, Lester and Pedro were helpful and continued removing material. No down time which the family appreciated. We recommend College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving out of Milwaukee for moving or for just getting rid of the junk. Marv

Quality Moving & Storage Of Edina & Hudson
From the estimate to the follow up my experience with Quality Moving was excellent. Dave Franta, the owner, was knowledgeable, personable, and very customer oriented. In getting estimates I was concerned about moving some of our art. The competition advised us to move it ourselves in our car. Dave displayed knowledge on just how to pack different types of paintings and came on moving day to pack all of our paintings himself. Each one was packed with special paper individually. He also dropped off an ample supply of different size boxes for us to use free of charge, which we did not have to return. The crew was great. They took care to not track dirt into either house, disassembled and assembled all of the furniture, and did not damage a single item nor nick a single wall. Incredibly, and a first for us, every single piece of furniture was wrapped in a blanket so that no surfaces were showing, and then the blankets were taped tight to keep them in place. We have moved five times now and this was by far the best company we have ever used. Professional, competent, and friendly. The time estimate was accurate and the price competitive. We highly recommend this company.

    Good Stuff Moving
Went great. We had a few pieces of furniture to be moved...we found out last minute and had to scramble to find someone who could do it. The people at Good Stuff were happy to help even though we needed a truck the next morning. The had no problem covering that. The truck and two guys were there even a few minutes early the next morning. They actually knew the building better than I did, knew where to park. They were courteous, friendly and moved quickly and got everything wrapped and out the door to the truck...and when they got to our house...again..quickly got everything in and placed and were good to go. They did a great job and we would definitely hire them again and recommend them.

Quality Moving & Storage Of Edina & Hudson
It went fabulously. They sent two young men who were very competent and very experienced. They moved some really heavy and awkward furniture through small doors with ease and without damaging anything. They picked up a very heavy entertainment center with moving belts and walked it into the room. So, there was no way it would scratch the floor. I have never seen it done that way. Amazing. They talked to each other to make sure they moved together to get through every door carefully and without doing any damage. I couldn't praise them more. It went quickly and perfectly. The two gentlemen were such professionals and so easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone needing a good moving experience.

    Good Stuff Moving
Very well. The moving team were professional, polite and very efficient. Boxes cost $2 ea, but you get that fee back when you return the boxes which is a great approach both in savings and reducing landfill. We have now used Good Stuff for (2) moves and both went extremely well. We highly recommend them and their pricing was more than competitive!

    USA Family Moving
This was a great experience from beginning to end. Adrian was responsive and helpful in explaining the process and fees, Mike responded as promised with the scheduled time confirmation and Niko and Robert were excellent wrapping the furniture and loading and unloading the truck. All were professional and responsive during the process. The only surprise was when I scheduled I was told it was a minimum 2 hour move + 1 hour travel and when they got there Mike told them it was 3 hour minimum + 1 hour travel. It turned out that we needed most of the three hours anyway but that was different from what I was originally told. Again Niko and Robert were great, making this move on an extremely (90 degrees) warm and muggy day.

    A-1 Moving Co
Originally planned on moving out from the old house and in to the new house on the same day, but at the last minute our closing was delayed by 2 days. A-1 loaded up 2 trucks and juggled their schedule to try and avoid unloading/reloading them which would incur additional cost. They did not charge any extra at all for just parking the loaded trucks for 2 days. In the end they had to unload and reload one truck, which cost an extra $760, but unloading went very smoothly. The movers were very careful with placing things exactly where we wanted, and then offered before they left to reposition things again to get things just right. The final cost was at the high end of the estimate, after subtracting the additional $760 of course, but with all the rescheduling and hassles they had to endure we're quite satisfied.

    Local Motion Moving & Storage
We hired Local Motion after a crew expertly moved my in-laws out of their home last year. We expected wed get the same service, but it couldnt be further from the truth. Our 3 person crew was sloppy and unprepared. They didnt bring professional moving supplies, were late, and were driving a rented Uhaul truck. -They did not bring furniture straps for carrying heavy items - my husband loaned them his, but they did not use it. -They didnt know how to take apart a basic metal bed frame - heard noise and walked in to one of them holding it up off the floor and kicking it to get it apart. My husband told him to stop, and took it apart himself - and then the crew refused to reassemble at our new house and said Id have to do it. I ended up putting it together and lugging the box spring onto the frame even though Im 6 months pregnant and hired movers so I wouldnt have to do this. -They decided to take apart a small 4 person kitchen table, 8 alan head bolts. They tried to use a phillips screwdriver, my husband gave them an alan wrench and taught him how to use it. It still took 25 minutes to remove the bolts (took us 5 minutes to reassemble). They then used tape on the bare wood which has caused a sticky residue to remain on the wood finish. -They slid a platform bed on its side on bare wood floors, scratching the newly refinished oak. -They threw trash in the yard at both homes (empty packing tape rolls and water bottles). -They were very careless with a heavy walnut and steel Room & Board dresser, resting it at an angle on two of its legs which were showing signs of fatigue. They tried to remove the dresser drawers, pulling on them and never pushed the release levers to unlock the drawers from the slides. They unwrapped the dresser and wanted to slide it on its side across bare wood - we told them no, we would not let them do that - it would damage the dresser and the floors. They argued with us about this, and ultimately we asked them to leave and fired them as movers during this process. -They places items in the middle of rooms, did not roll out rugs or place furniture where we requested, and they placed some items blocking doorways. I had to run into rooms and move items because they couldnt bring more items in because they set items in the way of the doorway. -They didnt take legs off of our two sectional sofas, but stood items up on the legs twisting the legs loose and then were asked repeatedly to remove the legs, as well as fix the legs which they did not do. They did not put the sectional sofas back together despite us asking them to. -We gave a list of items room by room, and were quoted 6 hours and 3 people. This crew did not finish in the time scheduled and the company charged us an extra $200 without our authorization. Not all items on our original list were moved even with the extra time, and my husband had to help them with several items. -One on our crew complained to me that we have a lot of stairs (split level) and because hes a smoker, he is tired and out of breath. -Many items were banged into door frames and walls. We repeatedly asked them to be careful, to watch the walls but they did not use any more caution after repeatedly being asked. -They couldnt figure out how to drive the moving truck, doing a 20 point turn in our intersection because they approached our home from the wrong direction and couldnt park in front of the house. -Didnt put down protective floor covering like we had seen them do at my in laws when they moved a year ago. -I walked in on one of them using my master bathroom toilet, door open. I wouldnt have said no if they asked to use the bathroom but I didnt expect to find someone peeing in my toilet with the door open. Damages: -Punctured/poked a hole in one sofa (fabric). -Smashed corner of one nightstand, corner is now crumbling off. -Ripped our mattress. -Broke off part of our wood trim going up the stairs. -Scratched newly refinished oak floors. -Several scuffs on door frames, multiple gouges in drywall. We had to find new movers on short notice to finish the job, and have been told to file a claim for each damaged item. No immediate refund on service was provided despite us asking and despite being charged more than quoted due to the incompetence of our crew. We are considering disputing the charge with our credit card company.

Quality Moving & Storage Of Edina & Hudson
We just had a major renovation and we had to move back our heavier furniture from the garage and move piano from a different house. The movers are very professional and efficient. They notified us ahead of time that they were already on the way. We have a split level house and they went into a slight problem hauling the piano into the house. It's more complicated than they thought but they were able to get help from a different crew. Overall the move went smoothly . Will definitely recommend them to our friends looking for movers.

Quality Moving & Storage Of Edina & Hudson
I was very impressed by the timeliness and professionalism of the team at Quality movers. You can tell that the crew was very experienced and they did a great job protecting the nice furniture. We had trouble getting some of the pieces downstairs at our house through the more narrow doorway and they were able to improvise, take things apart and get it done. I definitely recommend Quality moving and storage to anyone that wants any moving or storage handled. The piece of mind knowing that your valuables will be taken care of and the quality of the people will not leave you disappointed.
