AMy kid locked herself out of the basement family room with both the key and her homework inside, at 9 p.m. at night. It's not a normal interior door; the basement room is a former apartment, so the lock is fairly high quality, and my attempts to learn lock picking from a YouTube video were futile in the extreme. Lake Lock made a 9 p.m. house call for $65 and got it open for us. This was WAY better service than we had any right to expect and my kid was tearfully relieved that her stupid mistake had been undone.

AWe needed a duplicate key made for a 2013 Subaru Outback. This is a key with the remote and chip built into the key. To save money, the locksmith instructed me to purchase the key blank from Amazon ($50). The locksmith charged $90 to cut and program the key (Total cost: $140). Four other locksmiths that I contacted could not cut the key. The dealership cost was $270. Luke was on time (he actually called ahead of time and was able to arrive early) and came to our house to do the work. This was a good experience and we saved money.

ADeadbolt would no longer open on front door. Service person was on time, explained everything with excellent physical distancing practices. Turned out that the deadbolt was broken so even though it was late on a very hot day, he replaced the deadbolt on the front door and then the back door deadbolt and knob with locks made with brass and steel(no plastic parts) for a very reasonable price. I would definitely hire again.
