    Da Vinci Restoration
    As an alternative to buyinig all new kitchen cabinets, we went to Daren and had him "refresh" all the doors and drawer fronts to fill in small chips in the veneer and just gereally clean everything and buff everything out with several coats of tinted wax--and saved over $20K. They turned out great and would strongly recommend considering this if you have old, good quality wood-finish cabinets that you'd like to keep. Plus, he worked overtime before leaving on vacation to make sure we could things put back together before we had the family over for Easter. -JS

    It went perfectly smooth, no problems. They were fast, friendly and professional. The price seemed high, but it is what it is, and you often get what you pay for, yada yada yada. They knew exactly what they were doing, and they did it well. Would definitely hire them again. I am, as a matter of fact, having them tune the piano as well in a few weeks.

    Quality Moving & Storage Of Edina & Hudson
    We just had a major renovation and we had to move back our heavier furniture from the garage and move piano from a different house. The movers are very professional and efficient. They notified us ahead of time that they were already on the way. We have a split level house and they went into a slight problem hauling the piano into the house. It's more complicated than they thought but they were able to get help from a different crew. Overall the move went smoothly . Will definitely recommend them to our friends looking for movers.

    Started out great, loved the quality of materials and workmanship. It was VERY slow, and is still not "officially" complete since they didn't do a final walk-thru and are not responding to multiple requests for proof of warranties (appliances are supposed to have included a 5 yr warranty) and also to rebates they didn't send in. The project had to be paid 100% 2 months in advance and the rebates were not given because we never received receipts and they didn't actually install the appliances until 5 months later. I have repeatedly emailed Lowes in S St Paul, with replies basically saying people have left and someone else is handling this, but we NEVER heard back beyond this. VERY DISAPPOINTED in Lowe's and their lack of follow-up and standing behind their work and contract.

    DON'T EVER BUY FURNITURE FROM SLUMBERLAND! THEIR "SATISFACTION GUARANTEE" IS A BIG LIE! I had purchased furniture from Slumberland in the past and been satisfied. We were also pleased with our salesperson. Unfortunately, our experience with our furniture has been a nightmare. We custom ordered three pieces of furniture (a leather sofa and two matching recliners) totaling nearly $3000. We received the sofa first and it had obvious, visible defects in construction. We followed the process of calling the line to report the defects; they came out and responded to one of the concerns by sending a replacement cushion. The replacement is the wrong size. When our recliners came, they also have serious, visible defects in the construction. Given our experience with the sofa, after receiving the defective recliners, I called the company and asked for them to pick up the furniture and issue us a full refund. In five phone calls, I was redirected back and forth between two different people. I have attempted to resolve this directly with the store manager, and with the central customer service line. I was told that I should expect imperfections in the furniture, just like there are imperfections in the pieces in the store. These pieces are not just "imperfect" or "flawed" they have visible, obvious defects in their construction. I have explained that I do not have any more time to attempt to get our defective furniture repaired, and that further, I no longer with to do business with a company that would deliver so many defective pieces to our home. The last person I spoke with indicated that they could absolutely refund my money, but that they were choosing not to, and the best they would offer me is to re-select new furniture in their store. They are more concerned with keeping my money than with ensuring that I have received a quality product, or that I am satisfied with my experience. What I have learned about this company: Though the back of the sales slip says "Satisfaction Guaranteed" in big letters, the remainder lists all the ways you have to live with the furniture you get, whether or not they have actually provided you with a properly constructed item. They do not inspect the furniture that they distribute before they deliver it; and take no responsibility to ensure that items are properly made before they are delivered. They expect the consumer to deal with manufacturer defects. They are unconcerned about the amount of time it takes to resolve these issues, nor the amount of time someone may have to take off of work in order to do so. They strive to never refund your money - - once you have spent your money there, the best they will offer you is to come in to the store and re-select; this is the actually policy that's printed on the back of the slip. There is a reason they have so many bad reviews on every website (Yelp, Better Business Bureau, etc) - - I only wished I had checked them out before purchasing.

    The move went quite smoothly. Initially my contact and conversation with Nick Franta did not go well and I felt that he was not at all interested in having me as a client. But the owner of the company Dave Franta went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with hiring them. The price that I was quoted initially was lower and was not their right price, but Dave was more than willing to honor that as well as give me 7% discount for Angie's List when it was usually 5%. Although the move was estimated to take 8.5 hrs, it took 11 hrs, but all the movers were extremely professional, thorough, courteous and friendly and worked without a break or wasting a minute. They used furniture pads to protect all the furniture, was very careful with the floors and carpet. When the move was running overtime, they sent an extra guy out to speed up the process. Overall a fantastic experience with Quality Moving. Would highly recommend them.

    Manuel, the owner was excellent in every aspect. From the beginning he worked within my budget, was punctual and even finished the project a week earlier then expected. I had gotten bids from at least 7 other upholsterersabd not only was his the best but his customer service and attention to detail were top-notch. He is the best of the best. Will definitely get more work done from him!!

    Very well. Did a great job and did it in a professional manner and for a reasonable cost. The installation was included with the purchase of the dishwasher but we had to pay for the extra plumbing work.

    They gave me an estimate, clearly explained the work to be done, and finished earlier than promised. High quality work. I didn't get another estimate so I can't compare the cost ($143 for two cushions using the original fabric).
