    Sela Roofing & Remodeling
Two years ago when a major hail storm hit, we called on SELA to repair our home. We had never had to handle such a large home re-construction process before; SELAs project manager, Pat Hall, walked us through it. Pat was very timely with all communication. We could tell that SELA's staff and crews were honest and straightforward in all of their dealings with us and the insurance company. What makes them stand high above other contractors is that every crew they sent had worked with them for years, had appropriate certifications, and maintained a high standard of professionalism, excellence in their work and courtesy. Every piece of the project was done meticulously. Over a year later, the quality of the work they did is still apparent. Some of our neighbors hired less reliable companies whose fly-by-night siding subcontractors walked off their jobsite, leaving their houses exposed to the elements until another crew could be found. Also, several neighbors had to have all of their Hardie siding ripped off and re-done less than a year later due to shoddy workmanship. They should have hired SELA! We hope that we never have such extensive storm damage again, but we would call SELA again if the need ever arose.

    COMMON BOND CONSTRUCTION
Well, he did my roof without a license and when it was done, he used his friends license to get the permit. The job was supposed to be done Nov 2017. Siding went in on may 2018. Still no gutters, or doors. I took the windows away and am dealing only with them. All his friend(thecontractor) does is ask for more money...which I will not give. This is an insurance job, he should know he gets paid when it is done. They, Tim quermon ar Q masonry and remodeling, are dishonest, dont care how it looks. I paid the sliders because they didnt know when keith(commonbond) would pay them, which is why his license got revoked before we signed up with him.. all lies and cheating. Poor job. Poor customer service. Poor everything. DONT DONT. DONT

Joe and his crew showed up on time, worked diligently, did a great quality job and cleaned up the work site. The replacement bricks and mortar matched the existing very well and there were little extras like a drip edge on the cap which showed they knew what they were doing and cared about the long-term quality of the work. Very happy I selected them.

    John Rivard Cement Contracting LLC
I requested a quote on September 19, 2016 and have yet to hear from them. When I told my husband that they didn't get back to me he said good. He said that this company came out a few years ago and instead of fixing it properly just put a patch on it and has since peeled off.

    Metro Chimney & Masonry
I messaged Joe (the owner) via Angie's List and didn't hear back for days. Finally he sent me a message telling me to call. When I called Joe, he answered right away, but told me he was in the car and that I should call back and leave a message. Then he asked me if I needed this for closing on a home inspection (I didn't). He then told me it would take until October (two months out), which was fine provided I could get a quote. Then he asked me where I lived (Blaine). You could tell he didn't feel like driving up to my house in order to quote out the repair. I wish Joe would have clearly stated his service area first. I don't know why he had me agree to call him back, leave a message, provided my timeline, and then accepted a possible two month delay, only for him to tell me "No thanks."

    KISER CONSTRUCTION
Most of the details are already covered in my previous entry. I felt very confident throughout the entire process that my interests were foremost and the concern was for the highest quality and best work performed. I would also like to add that the process was stress free for me, as Kiser handled everything! Lisa, Scott, and Rick handled all of the insurance details, and the rest of the team pitched in and worked tirelessly and with positive attitudes to ensure the work exceeded my expectations!

    Brick It Your Way
This was a terrible experience. Paul and his buddy gave us a good bid on the project and we were a relatively small project but they were very random in showing up. This project went on forever and they never cleaned up after themselves. The work turned out OK but we have had water leaking into our garage ever since and are now dealing with damage and mold in an interior wall because they failed to caulk between the siding and the brick that they installed. We noticed wet carpeting in the corner on the dining room and climbed up on a ladder to look at where the brick joined the siding. There is a two inch gap and water has been pouring down the roof into the gap. We are having to remove the sheet rock in our dining room to deal with mold. ARGGH!!!

    BRUCE INDUSTRIAL
Robert came out to our home an provided a detailed estimate. Estimate was given at the end of April, work completed at the end of June. Unfortunately, the brick that was on the home was over 25 years old and was not made any longer. Robert did he best to find us simular brick that could be used as a replacement (5 choices). After my husband and I made our choice we asked Robert for his advice as we both had selected different patterns. Robert matched with my husbands choice. Robert arrived at our home as scheduled in the afternoon. The job was completed the following day and it looks wonderful. He did a great job.
