DHONDA OF BEMIDJIThey rotated the tires and changed the oil. | The mess of oil that was left all over the engine of the car was unacceptable after the service. The oil filter was loose and it attributed to my oil loss that was weird to be coming from my Honda. Also the head of the drain plug had been ground off by some idiot that went crazy with the impact wrench. The quality of care that has been given to my cars has defiantly gone down over the last 2 years. They used to be a great dealer but now I can't say that. They have damaged my car and made a mess of it. I don't think I'm going to have them work on my car anymore. | I would stay away for all of the dealers in Bemidji. They all have done something to drive me away from them. I will be doing all the work at home where everything can be done right and with care.- alex g.

FDONDELINGER CHEVROLET-BUICKFirst i went into the dealer on monday afternoon for my schedule oil change and my 2007 Chevy suburban Z71. I got there on time cause i am never late and they said that it was going to take around 45 minutes to do the oil change, so i went to the waiting room.......an hour passes and i go to the service desk to see what is taking them so long and they have NOT EVEN BROUGHT THE TRUCK INTO THE SHOP YET!!!! so they say that they are sorry and they will get right to it so i called my dad to come and get me so he did and it when we were getting home i look at my phone and they had called and said that the car was done and we could come and get it. So later on we did and it was getting dark out and i ran inside and paid got the keys and went home i did look around the car to make sure that it was not damaged. I did not see anything so i drove home but what i had over looked was that when they had washed the car that the chrome on the grill had been peeled off from the water pressure or heat. I got mad and i took it over there the next morning.
I got to the dealer and i went in and i got the service manager (he is a liar) and the guy that does all of the apointments and they came out and looked at the car and said that it could not have happened to it when it was there and that it must have been a part defect. ( this was no defect and this car like i said is PERFECT!) I said that it was not a defective part and that it happend when it was there cause it had not been there when i had HAND washed it myself 2 days earlier. They said that they would spit the part cost with me. I thought that they were being generous and i was about to take them up on this offer until i brought the Captiva in to have the bezel replaced.
I brought the Captiva in to have that bezel replaced and everything SEEMED like it was going to be ok till later that day after work when i was going to pick it up. I got to the dealer about 5:30 and i saw the car and it seemed odd that it was parked up by the building by the curb away from where the other cars were. This looked odd so i felt the need to look over the car thoroughly before i was going to take it home after what had happened the day earlier with the Suburban. I was looking over the car when i notice some thnings that were not there when i dropped the car off like the HUGE dent that was put in the side of the car from a hoist and the scrapes acrost the passenger door mirror and all over the door and also the passenger side rear door had a bug scratch on it as well that was not there. My dad was with me and he chewed the person out in the service area that was working when we came to pick the car up. We refused to take the car home so we had them put it in there shop for the night so no fingers could be pointed at us for doing it.
We got there the next morning early so we can talk to the manager and the service manger. the long and the short of what happened is that the service manager was denying that it happened in their shop and lying with us and the owner of the dealer was on vacation so he was unable to be reached. after all of the lies were told they were going to fix the Captiva and they refused to do anything on the Suburban.
They called us the next day and we come and get the car from them and little was said. just got the keys and got out of there before anymore mongrels could destroy our car. we THOUGHT that everything was fixed but later on sunday when we were at easter brunch my grandpa said that he saw two dents in the chrome around the window and shure enough they were there and when i went to the dealer today a week later they said that they would fix that to cause it was obviously done by them when they repaired the door.
I have had enough from this dealer and though the sales people are great the service department is so HORRABLE that you never want to set foot in the door again. I really feel bad for the sales people that work there cause when you have there crapy service department work on your car and it is damaged it makes them look bad.
I am not going to be going back to this dealer ever again to have any service done to my cars or to buy anything there. it is so much easer to go to the Twin Cites and go to dealers like Luther Brookdale Chevrolet and Lupeint Chevrolet where they operate on a completely different level than this dealer.
I am going to be doing all of the work on my cars at home from now on and have a tainted view of GM products now cause of this dealer.

ATIRES PLUSEverything went great. Generally speaking they do a great job. I like that you can drop off your car on a first come, first served basis. I can then head over to Target, Home Depot, Marketplace Foods, etc to kill some time.

ADICK'S NORTH SIDE SVCI called DIck's because they were recommended as an honest, friendly auto service company, and their reputation is well-deserved. They were not only able to service my Subaru with Subaru parts, they could get me in the same day and had me in and out in under an hour.- Barbara J.

AKennys Clark & GoodyearThey are very friendly. They are prompt. There is not any trouble with making an appointment. They pick up my husband's car from work they service it, and bring it back to him. There was one time I needed some WD-40 I went into purchase a can of it. They did not have any for sale. They went back, and found a can that already been used, and they just gave it to me for free.- KYLE R.

FTIRES PLUSI took my car in for an estimate because there was clunking going on every time that i hit even the smallest crack in the road and my breaks were barely squeaking so I figured since I was bringing it there I would have them check the breaks. After they checked my car out they said that it was the stabilizing bars that caused the clunking and that the breaks were good, so the next day I brought my car in there and dropped it off. The following day they called and told me it was ready. I went and picked it up and when I left I noticed that, the check engine light was on and my breaks were almost grinding, but I don't know too much about cars and figured since they had to take the tires off to get to the stabilizing bars that maybe it would go away after awhile. Later on that day we were driving on the highway and decided to use the cruise control and it wouldn't work. So the next day I decided to bring the car back in and they checked and said that I needed new break pads and that it would cost another 200 and some dollars and that they fixed the cruise control and got the check engine light back off. So i basically told them that it was a good thing that they fixed all the other stuff that they themselves had caused to go wrong with my car but that I was going to bring my car somewhere else for the breaks to get fixed since they had made so many mistakes already. The MANAGER had told me that he understands how I feel and that I must have been one of the unlucky ones to have something get messed up on my car and he also told me and I quote " You are not going to like what I have to say, but I am more upset that I lost out on a $200.00 break job from you than your car not getting fixed correctly". I was so upset I told him that I was never giving them my business again and from this day on have told everyone I know that needs a car fixed to NOT take it there. I have worked in customer service almost my whole life and that is NOT the way you treat your customers. Needless to say, a few days later, my cruise quit working and the engine light came on again. Oh and the clunking is right back to where it was. So I got nothing from tires plus but ripped off and a huge headache!!!- Angela K.

AMoms Auto PartsI ordered a used 1977 Ford F150 radiator that I could not find anywhere else except new. My call was immediately answered and Mel jumped right on what I needed and had it to me in 3 business days. Very professional and sincere. Thanks Mel and I will definitely use Moms Auto Parts in the future for my beater pick-up. : )- Kelly R.

AGorshe Auto ServiceThe process went very well. I discussed with Gorshe Auto the work I absolutely needed to have done on the car ( timing belt and water pump), then talked to them about my speedometer/odometer problems and the heat control that would not completely shut off. Gorshe Auto handled everything well, from doing the "needed" work to the trouble shooting and getting back to me with firm estimates for the additional work. The car runs great and the price was very reasonable, considering the scope of the work that needed to be done.- JOE & JUDY R.
