    Genesis 6 Construction
When working with my general contractor they were always on time, never in the way, and in complete conversation with him to keep project on time.  They insisted to lay their own subfloor and they were very efficient when it came to getting the work done.  Robert, my main contact, ALWAYS called in advance to let me know when he was coming.
In fact, now that my main construction is done I will maintain a professional relationship with this company as they can do any handyman work that I need done.
I have full faith and credit working with Genesis 6 and the workers of that company.

    CJ Craftsman Construction LLC
Cj Craftsman  (Chris Burrington) drew up the original plans for the house and the SIP (Structural Insulated Panels) were ordered off of those drawings. Chris then built the frame of the house with these highly insulated wall pieces, making sure these walls had the correct runs to allow for electricity wiring and plumbing. Chris also installed all of the six super energy efficient windows, built the loft inside, installed the wood flooring and the wood wall paneling. Chris worked extremely well with the other contractors who had to work in tandem with him to make sure everything was right to install the solar hot water, solar air heat, solar electricity and the passive solar. This was all done in three weeks and everything was finished by the start of the fair. This was a major effort, with many, many very long days put in by Chris to make sure it was done on time. We are very grateful for his hard work. you can see pictures of the Tiny Solar House being built and the finished product on our facebook page or website.

    Roncor Custom Rebuilders
It was a pleasure to work with Roncor - they first listened to us in 2012 and were patient when we couldn't start the project until 2013.  Plans were created, reviewed and adjusted several times based upon our feedback.  Any changes made to the plan after the start of construction were well documented and cost disclosed.  The project began in June 2013 with excavation.  The workers were on time, professional and very neat.  Roncor was very helpful in creating a vaulted ceiling design we had in mind - it was more difficult than anticipated but it looks great!  The subcontractors they used were very professional.  We did have trouble ordering the correct windows and doors from a local lumber yard, but that was an issue with the lumber yard's window specialist measuring the wrong size and ordering the wrong doors, not Roncor's fault.  This did delay the project and finally completed in September 2013. We will use Roncor again for our remodeling projects as they allowed us to do some of the work ourselves in order to save money. They had a bit higher cost than other remodelers we looked at, but their professionalism and ability to complete the project the way we wanted was well worth it.

    SUPERIOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
Although they did a pretty good job overall on the work, the company has been a nightmare to deal with. Most things took countless pesterting to get done, and they job that should have taken maybe two months has taken upwards of 10. They have damaged many things in our house, and are unwilling to compensate us for the damages. They lose documentation we provide them, and then claim we never provided it.
The Project coordinator Jesse, was pretty good to work with, and one of their general carpenters, Mike, was amazing. Everything else has been a nightmare. One of the employees told us "Superior isn't really in the business of doing a good job, they are in the business of maximizing insurance payout".
Overall, the house turned out REALLY nice, most of the work was done well. However, the nightmare in getting things done in a timely manner, and getting these damage issues taken care of have made it all completely not worth it.
The hardest part is that they piggyback with ServiceMaster. After our fire, servicemaster was sent by our insurance company to do cleanup, and Superior is their sister company. They take advantage of people who are in a stressful time and get business through service master and insurance companies. Remember, you always have a choice. DO NOT use Superior Construction, they are a terrible company to work with.

    DAVID BERNARD BUILDERS
The way they told us the neighborhood would go and the way it ended up is opposite. Initially we were pleased, they did do a nice job with what we wanted done. I can't fault their craftsmanship. A few things that seem to break consistently and the warranty is up now. They were responsive when we did have problems the first year, they just weren't very good with the area. Maybe they were unaware of what other builders were going to be doing or it didn't matter to them. Maybe the neighborhood is to blame, it's really not the neighborhood it was presented to be. I'd tell others to becareful when they build in a new home, be very careful of what's going to be going on around it. It may not turn out to what you are expecting. I would probably never build in an unestablished area again.

    A to Z Remodelers & Builders
10.0! VR Remodelers & Builders was friendly yet very professional throughout the process: estimating, quoting, scheduling and completing tasks. We asked for several quotes and VR was the most reasonable. Within our limited budget, they incorperated our needs and wants as much as possible. At the end of each work day, they cleaned up the trash and debris. We are extremely pleased with their work and recommend them with our atmost confidence.
