    OLLOM'S APPLIANCE
Our Home Warranty company scheduled us with Ollom, but I am very happy that they did! They came out in the window promised and even provided me with a 30 minute courtesy call as I needed to leave work to meet them at our house. They quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what needed to be done, and even answered my questions about some other appliances that we own. I would hire them again without a doubt. Very friendly and knowledgeable! We only had to pay the $100 deductible, but when I asked what the typical charge is to replace a water valve, they thought it would run about $215.

It's all expensive but they knew what they were doing. They took the time to analyze what was wrong with the heat air ventilation system while they were here and tell me what was wrong with it with out charging me. It needed a 25 cent part.

    Tony's Appliance Inc
They didn't have the part until the next day, but put everything back so we could use it in the mean time and returned promptly to quickly fix everything the next day. The work ended up being done by two different technicians. Both technicians were excellent - very competent, courteous, neat, etc.

    AMA SERVICES
Blake came on time. He called to say he was 15 minutes out. He discovered  the problem quickly, went to his truck to get parts and then had to spend time removing the old broken part and replacing it. He then test the burner and it worked great. He test the other 3 burner and found one other one would not light.  The bill was high but he spent about almost two hours making sure all four burners worked correctly.

    Tony's Appliance Inc
Repairman arrived saying he might not be able to fix it. Gave it a cursery check out, said he couldn't fix it. He then argued with me that I should not wash using hot water anyway. (This is a high end machine 1 1/2 years old.) he got angry when I said I thought it was reasonable to expect hot water from a newish machine that had at one point washed hot. Without further discussion he packed up his stuff and left. His behavior was insulting and dismissive. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a service person. The scheduling person, when I called to report back, was very apologetic, and offered another repair person, which I declined. We called GE the next day. They sent a repair person who explored the problem thoroughly, and fixed it.

    CenterPoint Energy Home Service Plus
They fixed it. I think we get a good deal on the subscription. The dishwasher doesn't leak. Its usually within a day or two. Its based on the number of time we used them, and how expensive it typically is to fix the appliances. We get a good deal for thirty five to forty dollars a month. Usually one worker. The worker is good.

Affordable Marktag Home Appliance Repair Inc
Mark came out and determined that my electric panel in the dishwasher wasn't working properly. He ordered a new one and came out about a week later to replace it. About a week after that, it stopped working. He came out (for free - part of the warranty) and was able to determine that there was a problem with the electricity the dishwasher was receiving (which probably fried my old unit). He wasn't able to diagnose that problem (needed an electrician) but was able to give me enough information to give the electrician. Once that problem got straightened out, the dishwasher has worked fine. He stands by his work, which is great. Most of the cost was the electric panel - not his labor. The labor portion is extremely reasonable.

    Pronto Heating & Air Conditioning
Our experience with Pronto was top-notch! I was impressed from the moment I called...I actually talked to a real person right away. Jason was very helpful and gave me a lot of information, which was helpful in determining what direction we were going to go. Our existing water heater was not even 6 years old and it was leaking and corroded. I e-mailed Jason pictures of our current water heater and he recommended a replacement and a warranty that covers repairs, replacement and labor for 12 years. Considering we were replacing a unit after only 6 years, we definitely wanted the warranty! They were on time for our appointment, wore covers for their shoes, put down plastic wrap to protect our carpets and were quick in removing the old unit and installing the new one. The entire process took less than 2 hours. All of the people we worked with in the process were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and would definitely recommend them!

    Sears Appliance Repair
I was very impressed. Sears appeared to be one of the few places that would service a Samsung fridge. The service man found out when he arrived that we had also had a constant ice build up in the freezer. He spent about 2 hours digging out the ice, finding a 'plug' in one of the pipes causing a slow leak leading to the ice build up and clearing that out. He did a great job drying and cleaning the freezer. He then identified that the filter part was broken and went about ordering a new part. The original cost for this was roughly $300. However, when the part arrived and he came to install, he realized he only needed a 'part' of the 'part', and thus he refunded us a little more than $100. He could quite easily have just installed the whole piece. I felt like I got very good value and service.

    Merit Appliance Repair
After the part was replaced, it quit working again and Levert came out and did more testing and said that we should get the dryer vents cleaned before he tried anymore work on it.  He replaced the part again and did not charge for the 2nd call at all.  He was very thorough and helpful, and tried to suggest ways to save money like getting dryer vents cleaned which he does not do.  We had another company clean the  vents and it works perfectly now.  Thank you Levert for an awesome job and we will call you again with any other problems in the future for sure!!!!!
