    Blind Installation & Repair Inc
They were quick on scheduling an install date. The installers arrived on time. The team of two installed all shades and blinds throughout our house in about 1 1/2 hr. They made sure we knew how to open/close the blinds correctly. I needed to have them out a second time because my motorized blinds for the family room were delayed in delivery. The team came back and readily installed them. The team was professional and courteous. I will definitely contact in the future, if I need any repair on my window treatments.

    Craftsman's Choice Inc

We have used this vendor before in replacing some sliding glass doors. We had such a good experience then that they were our preferred vendor on this project. Keith worked with us over several days to pick out the door we needed and liked the best.  He provided several choices in which he clearly explained the pros and cons of each choice as well as our options. The door arrived on the day they stated and the crew arrived on time and on the day agreed to.  The crew did a fantastic job. They were friendly and very professional. The work was done quickly and with great care. The job site was cleaned up; you would not have known that there had been any construction done there. What we have always like about this contractor is the little extra value they provide. They took a pair of shutters off the house and painted them to match the color of the door.  We had asked for the matching paint when we placed the order but had planed to do the work ourselves. This type of little extra service puts them in a special class. We were delighted with our new door and again with this company.  We would use them again.

    Aero Drapery & Blind
The drapes were made about one year too soon and hung in their warehouse causing them to have "hanging marks" that have never relaxed or come out of the fabric. The salesperson was told that we can't have the drapes ordered until the wallpaper was hung and ceilings painted first, then the drapes can be ordered and brought out for install. The fabric is horrible, it looks "cheap". They don't hang correctly and need to be adjusted and pressed. We would rather have our old drapes put back up, because that fabric is better quality than what we have now.  Addendum: Aero's comment and I quote: "Well meaning relative" is NOT true at all. These words came directly from my mother's mouth who purchased the drapes. I am her adult son 47 years old this year, I also have lived with my mother long before we contacted Aero. My mother hates these drapes, I hear it EVERY DAY from her. In fact she wants me to put her old AERO drapes back up, take the new drapes down and drop them on Aero's doorstep. Her words, not mine.

    Stonehearth Remodeling & Exteriors
I found Stonehearth by first searching re modeler's on Angie's list. They were one of only a few companies that actually responded to their online contact email which immediately set them apart from most of the others. So I set up an estimate and met with Chad. He was very professional and answered all my questions or found them out for me quickly. Once my wife and I decided to hire them, we met with Greg, the owner, and Cathy, one of their designers. We went over what we were looking to do and our budget. They explained the process and what each step would be. The initial steps were spent working with Cathy. She was great to work with and always provided constructive ideas. Not being designers ourselves, she took our ideas and focused them into a design that worked in our space which was a huge help. Cathy quickly took all of our ideas and created a design which allowed her and Greg to come up with a final estimate. As it turned out our wishes were too rich for our bank account. They both worked to help us make changes to the materials we first chose but stayed with the look we wanted and our within budget. Once work started, Stonehearth's crew made short work of the demo. Luckily for us their weren't any issues that held up progress, so they were able to continue without being sidetracked with something like structural issues. Since our house was originally wired by blind monkeys we ended up a minor electrical issue during demo. They kitchen had been wired on the same circuit as a bathroom and bedroom. Greg was able to get the electrical worked out quickly so we had power to the places we needed it and the crew would be safe not having to contend with live wires. Greg's crew, George, Garrett, and Pete did a great job. We didn't have them disappear for days on another job, while ours sat idle. We saw progress each day, which was a relief. They were very professional, respected our living space and left as clean of a work environment for themselves as possible. Each of the subs, flooring, counter tops, electrical, and plumbing, was also on time and in and out without missing a beat. Throughout, we stayed on contact with Cathy and Greg via email, phone, and text. Whenever we had a question, or needed to get in touch, they were very responsive. We found it was very helpful to also text Greg since he is on job sites and away from a computer to be able respond to emails as quickly. Not once during the entire remodel did we feel like the project was out of our hands or that we were without a voice. We found out that kitchens are the probably the hardest remodel to go though since they are the one room that you don't typically have 2 of in the house. Our remodel occurred in the late fall and we tried to prepare by making meals ahead of time, using the grill as much as possible and using plastic utensils and paper plates, but he novelty wore off quickly. Thankfully Stonehearth was able to come in ahead of schedule by a week and on budget. There were additional costs but those were each due to our additions and upgrades and not any hidden fees. Any time we chose to make a change they were upfront and let us know what the costs would be. I would definitely contact Greg and use Stonehearth on another remodel. We love our new kitchen!

Custom Drapery & Blinds by Michael Esch
From the fashion consultant (Linda Carney) to the two installers (Don and Charlie) the whole process was a very pleasant experience. It was a very professional job. The installers arrived on time, were very pleasant, installed the shades in a very short period of time, cleaned up the boxes and wrapping that the shades came in and took the time to look for a shade pull that was missing from one of my existing cellular shades. I would definitely recommend Don and Charlie again and give them both "attaboys" for a job well done.  I am extremely pleased with the shades which have really updated my kitchen. Many thanks again and I would definitely hire this company again.

It went very well. I talked with Barb at Lowe's in the Window Covering Department. She worked with me to find what I needed for our home. I chose Bali Faux wood blinds for the windows and vertical fabric vertical blinds for the patio doors. Barb came out to measure for all the blinds. She was very prompt and courteous. Lowe's offered a special price for installing all the blinds and the person who installed all the blinds was prompt, efficient and very skilled in installing all of the blinds. When there was a little issue on the width of one of the patio vertical blinds(it was a challenging measurement to make the first time due to it being a bay style installation, Barb came out, remeasured and ordered a replacement rod and additional vanes. We were very pleased with Barb's and Lowe's service.
