Couldnt ask for more. Responded to voicemail within a few hours. Appt set for 2 days later in window promised. Texted to notify of impending arrival. Repairman was pleasant and knowledgeable. Repaired the dryer in less than an hour. Cost was great - easily saved $700 to $1,100 on cost of repair over replacing. Reluctant to disclose cost so as to not create unrealistic expectations. Major repairs could cost more than I paid.

Mr. Simpson is a very gracious man that made me a priority knowing I do child care and needed my oven repaired quickly. He was quick to arrive and repaired it even quicker. I have used him in the past and would recommend him always.

Spoke with Kathy on 09/01/17 and explained that I had had another company working on my icemaker and that it still wasnt fixed after four visits. She said she would look online at my model and call me back on 09/02/17. Called again on 09/05/17 after not hearing back from her. She wanted to know if I was ok with her entering the house without my being there. I told her I was not. We spoke about possible appointment times and she said she would call me back in 5 minutes. Called on 09/06/17 - she said she wouldn't take the job as she was going out of town on 09/08/17. Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and having to chase soeone to give them my business. WIll never use.

Jon replaced it and then gave us honest advice about the Samsung dryer we had purchased about five years ago (this was the second time the heating coil had burnt out in 5 years!) Jon was professional, thorough, and kind. I definitely recommend this place!

Great. Had a little trouble reaching him because of the holiday and i don't keep my phone on me at all times. He got to the house on time, had seen the problem before, and was able to fix it then and there. Yea!

Fabulous. I was told outright that it would take more to repair the washer than buy a new one. Greatly appreciate finding this out BEFORE he started making repairs. The dishwasher turned out to be a simple issue, broken piece of glass in the pump filter, he explained what happened and why I couldn't find the issue. Quickly and cleanly fixed. Both service men were prompt, professional and very knowledgable, sharing details of what was going on and answering questions without hesitation. They are on my preferred services list for sure!

We had an interesting conversation about old gas stoves and we looked at one of the gas ports for the oven which proved unproductive, although informative. Ultimately the burner on the stove was the primary reason I needed his service. He took one of the inlets, and sanded it out, something I could have done myself. The burner still does not work as it should, and for the service call alone it ought to work 100% of the time. I still think there needs to be an adjustment to one of the valves, but he ignored my suggestion on that account. Overall, the stove is working better than it had been, but we are still having trouble getting the oven to light the way it should be. This is understandable given the age of the unit (built in 1950) but he should not have left until he knew the oven was working optimally. Because of the repeated on/off of the valve for the left-front burner, too much gas built up in the house. I didn't know whether it was from the on/off attempts to get the burner to light or if it was from something else he had done while working on the unit, so I had to call 911 and get a man from the gas company to come out to check it. It was a nightmare.

WOW! A lovely woman took my call and scheduled me for same day service. Jon came to my house and fixed my refrigerator quickly! His price was very reasonable and he was very personable. I will be saving his card in the event I need appliance repair in the future. I would highly recommend!

This went great. Chris returned my phone call quickly, and we were able to set an appointment that worked for my busy schedule. He showed up on time, looked professional and completed his work quickly and fr a reasonable price. Definitely my go to person for this kind of work from now on.

    Sears Home Services
28thI bought a new dishwasher from Sears a year and a half ago and installed it myself.  They had a warranty available and it was around $150 dollars and I was told that if I scheduled a free check-up every year that I would get a check for the cost of the warranty. Not a bad deal at all, huh?
I scheduled the check-up about four months ago and they guy came out in a reasonable amount of time and checked everything out and it passed.
On January 12th, 2016 I was running a wash cycle with dishwasher cleaner in it to clean out any rust or chemical buildup in the dishwasher.  My wife called me downstairs because water was coming out of the front of the dishwasher and onto the floor.  I turned the appliance off and noticed that it was not draining.  I called Sears Home warranty to let them know I needed it fixed.  They said no problem and I was told the person would be out January 28th, 2016 to fix it.  That is two weeks and two days.
I think this is way too long to be without a dishwasher.  I am very disappointed in their response time.  If they do not have the bodies to handle their work then they should subcontract the work out.  I have been washing dishes every day since then and it is a pain in the but.  I then went to their website and I emailed them voicing my displeasure.  They told me that they could not do anything about it but offered me 10,000 points.  I would rather have a working dishwasher.
In the future I would buy a warranty from a third party.  I am so disappointed.
