AMIDWEST SUPPLYFast knowledgable understanding of what was needed and had a very good inventory of fleet/farm parts etc. Used the sprayer the next day, and the part developed a small leak. Took it back on 06/05/14 and they replaced defective part without any problem.- Bob P.

AACE HARDWAREThe experience is very comforting. The guys that work at ACE do not judge and are very helpful and patient with females. The people at the Brainerd store know the products. They are also helpful giving "tips" and "tricks" for home projects. In comparison with the big box stores we have here - ACE always wins. I may have to pay more for some items but the service I get at ACE is totally worth it!- Shannon J.

ALOWE'SI have been to this Lowe's location twice in the past 30 days. Both times I was asked if I needed help finding anything and the staff was friendly. When I did ask questions on a exterior door replacement and interior wall paint, the staff seemed knowledgeable and eager to help. i did not have to wait long for them to come to my area to assist. There were a numerous checkout lines open so the wait was not too long. The place was clean and did not have supplies lying out on the floor in any aisle. Overall, my experience was good and the price for the items I bought was also fair.- Lola L.

AMERHAR'S ACE HARDWAREWe have bought a lawnmower and grill from Merhar. The prices were good. The sale on the grill was terrific. Whenever I'm looking for an odd hardware item, they have it or help find something that will work. I like problem solving with them. If they don't carry an item they know who does. I have to admit I am an aficionado of hardware stores. Merhar is a good one and a pleasure to experience.- Sherrie H.

AHendricks Farmers Lumber CoSo bottom line is they were able to get me everything i needed and a very competitive price. I am very price sensitive so even though i support the local lumberyard i can't help myself to compare the prices to the big box chains like Lowes and Menards. I found the prices to be very competitive, even beating the larger competitors at time. They have all your main stuff in stock but it requires a little patience with some stuff that i had to special order, but they quoted that quickly and it was here within two business days for me. I really liked some advice i got with the cement from Mark and it helped me do a quality job on my project. Anyway, i have done a lot of business with the HFL and they have always honored their quotes with me. Recently, I recommended them to my father who in January had them redo all of his floors in duplex and he was super happy and so was his tenant. They both sold my dad the material and lined up the contractor to do the work. Great experience, thanks HFL.- Fred S.

AAbbott Paint & CarpetIt seemed as though we were going into Abbott's nearly every week for quite a few months and we're not done yet. Whatever our project, an employee gave us excellent advice, and instructions on how to get the best results. They were also very helpful when we phoned in with more questions. AHENGEL READY MIX & CONSTR INCAll questions were answered quickly and in a friendly manner, when other companies wouldn't even return my calls. Great guys. They were ready to install the day after onsite quote but were able to schedule later that same week based on my schedule. Worker arrived first thing in the morning and didn't even mind me watching. Work was done as quoted and at the quoted price. Love our recycled asphalt driveway at a fraction of the price of new asphalt. Would definitely use again and recommend to friends.- Amy S.

FThis is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts.

AOne of these pieces of equipment had a monthly subscription fee attached. My employee told them to not activate the monthly fee, but it was. We missed noticing the charge for several months. That was our fault. However, when I contacted Brickhouse, the customer service rep refunded 2 months of the fee. Then I wrote the company and they refunded the remaining monthly fees. They could see from the records that we had not utilized the service for which the fee was being charged, so they acted in our best interest and realized that it makes more sense to have a happy customer, going forward.
