    Ivan was absolutely outstanding in every way! We bought our Toshiba TV, model CN27G95 (top of the line and top-ranked at the time by Consumer Reports) for $540 in 1998. Its performance had been reliable for 20 years until it recently developed problems with both picture & sound. Picture was squished and sound crackled, both improving but still washed-out after a long warmup. As an Angie's List member, I was happy to find Ivan who enjoyed excellent reviews. When I called him & explained the problem, he made an appointment for the very next day for a home visit, driving a half-hour from Dearborn to Ypsilanti, saying he would charge $40 for diagnosing the problem & would then estimate the cost of a repair. In minutes he had our TV apart, right in our living room. Wearing magnifying eyeglasses, he carefully examined the circuit board and said the connections had many bad solder joints, estimating repair cost at $160 (including the initial $40). I said to go ahead. He used a sophisticated soldering rig to very carefully re-solder 40 or 50 tiny connections. After re-assembly, the TV worked miraculously better than it ever had even when new--the picture quality is astonishing, with sharp and vivid colors, deep blacks, and perfect sound quality. Not only that, he then charged us only $120, less than his initial estimate. It's wonderful to still be able to repair our great old TV, which now performs better, with more natural colors, than any flat-panel TV we have looked at. Ivan said he can also repair flat-panel TVs, if that's what you have.

    I tweaked the door on my dump trailer. To try to save time I ordered a new door, thinking I could just slap it on. Surprise! the door did not match the trailer and had been shoddily constructed with the hinge barrels mis-aligned. I called Amerivet. I didn't get Gary- he sent out two younger guys. They came out and diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. They were both personable, polite and worked well together. Great quality work, very reasonable pricing, great communication. Don't hesitate, call these guys.

    Shred Legal did not respond to my Angie's List Message. Message was sent on 7-25-2017 and it is now 8-1-17. I think that is adequate time to get a response, even a sorry not doing homeowner service at this time.

    Reynolds is terrific. Their customer service is top-notch, above and beyond. The technician answered many questions of mine over the phone during scheduling, their technician who came was professional, timely, communicated clearly, came across very neighborly and honest but not overly chatty, and did the services with skill. The improvements we saw were great, so I know he did the work he said he did. He also was not a salesman -- could have easily talked us into a new softener -- but instead said it was great we were getting so much life out of an old one, said to use it til it breaks, and told me signs to look for when it stops working. Then, a manager called this week to follow up on our service -- so professional and caring -- and answered a few more questions I had. I'm super impressed with these guys and will be using them again.

    The service is consistent. We're disappointed about the package sizes and the ability to customize exactly what we use and we were definitely paying high for the things we use because we needed to get the higher packages in order to get the services that we needed. But, it's been little downtime. I would prefer if they would ask us when or tell us when we could upgrade equipment. Otherwise, we just have to remember to take in the rental equipment every couple of years to get upgrades when we know that models have changed but they haven't told us that. In general, it's okay. It's kind of like a fee. We get what we want but we pay a lot for it. They have consistent service, it's just that it's poorly bundled and overpriced, and the customer service, even though they are friendly, it's very difficult when trying to understand your bill and whether you should change your services, because they don't have all the information online. You have to talk to someone on the phone and it's not written out. I just went through this a couple of months ago trying to evaluate our current pricing package and because it's not written out easily, you have to just be on the phone. I was on the phone for about two hours with the customer service trying to understand and ask questions about lots of prices. So, I think they should be more visible, transparent with their pricing packages and give the tools online so that the customers can be independent without really relying on one person at Comcast, because if you didn't ask for a question or if you didn't have the information from that one person, that can affect your pricing. Whereas, if you spoke to someone else, they could have been more helpful.

    Comcast happily negotiated a good price for our desire for just Internet, no phone, no cable, which Verizon was rude about and had no package for. Comcast's reputation in the Ypsilanti area is that it has the best Internet service and speed, which we agree with.

    The staff at the Urgent care facility are always friendly. I never feel as if I have interrupted their day. I love the attention to detail and the clean waiting room. I drove past urgent care centers in 4 cities to get to this one.
