    Bay to Bay Building Concepts
I was very happy with how quickly the fit me into their schedule. I was happy with the end result my garage and roof look great. They gave me a great price because I had been taken advantage of by another roofing company so they came through for me and took great care of me! Definitely would recommend!

    Avalon Building Concepts
Professional, reliable, friendly and fast describes Avalon building concepts. Regardless of your needs, whether its roofing, insulation siding or other types of home repair, this has and continues to be the company I visit. From the very first visit and estimate I found them to be honest, courteous and provide an affordable estimate of the work needed. The crew they send are also very friendly and mindful of your home taking care that no debris is left behind and all nails are carefully picked up from any lawn or driveway surfaces. I highly recommend their services.

    Avalon Building Concepts
Every single person I dealt with from Avalon has done an excellent job. I have gone back to them now for three different projects because I feel they think of the person and their home first, not just the money. That is hard to find in a home improvement contractor. They are knowledgeable in what they sell and have followed through in what they say they will do. Avalon is the company to call when you are making changes to your home.

    American Dream Home Improvement
Job Started: 7/2017 Job still Pending: 11/2017 I am extremely upset with the conduct and service of American Dream Home Improvement. Stay away from this company. I'll try to lay this out in quick(er) bullet points, if I can. -They would not give me a firm dollar amount when it came to replacing the roof on the garage, and became very deceptive and avoidant of the topic every time I brought it up. Since the insurance company was involved, I felt a false sense of security. They left the dollar amount as "TBD" and told me that signing their contact only guaranteed that they get the work if the insurance company approved the claim. They moved forward with what they call a roof replacement. They put new shingles over rotted boards and called them "hammer-able surfaces", though I had specifically requested that they be replaced. - -When confirming the siding that the company was choosing to move forward with via text message, I received this text message response: "..thanks for letting me know, I'll put it in"......."ok done ::explotive::. I'd type what was really said and post a screen shot of the conversation, but my post will get flagged for hate speech. It started with the letter N. -They left pallets from the job in my drive way for me to dispose of. -If you are filing an insurance claim, make sure you are only paying them for work they actually performed. ADHI tried to bill me for items they did not fix. Example: The insurance stated a line item for shutter repair and replacement......There are NO shutters on my garage. No work was performed on any shutters on my property, yet they insisted that they did and tried to bill me for it, claiming that they had "pictures "of it. No, they don't, because there aren't any shutters on my garage. I could write a novel on the rest of the conduct and service of ADHI, but let some of these pictures speak to what the company offers. I'm currently contesting their billing. I will take ownership of not doing my due diligence before contacting ADHI for work. Had I taken time to research the company, I would have been able to avoid this all together. Do your research and read all of the reviews about this company. 11-10-17: I am still working with them on all the matters listed above, plus more. They are doing an astonishing poor job of resolving all issues that previously stated.

    Conrad Consulting & Remodeling LLC
[review originally posted on Thumbtack] This ended up being a long review! Tl:dr version = Highly recommended for quality work/materials and value. We chose Conrad to replace our siding after receiving a total of five estimates for the project. Conrad's price came in roughly the middle of the five; however, their materials and warranty were equal to or better than the other options (Home Depot gave the highest at $2000 more than the next highest estimate and did not include some features [for example, fanfold from Conrad versus basic vapor wrap from HD]; Lowe's price was comparable but also with fewer features; lowest estimate had lower-quality materials). Our first impression of Conrad upon meeting their project coordinator, Imad, was extremely positive. He was punctual (important to us as we often have very busy schedules!), professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and made sure to answer all of our questions before finishing up the initial visit for the estimate. He was also generally very prompt about returning emails. What impressed me the most (aside from Conrad's strong reviews online!) and ultimately was the final factor in choosing Conrad was Imad's willingness to look over a comparable estimate I sent him from a competitor - despite the possibility that we would not go with Conrad, Imad gave good advice on questions we should ask to ensure we were getting as good a deal as anticipated. My one relatively minor criticism would be that I would have appreciated more consistent communication in the early stages of the project (scheduling, etc.). I certainly appreciate the challenges that go along with coordinating work crews and trying to estimate how long a project will take while also factoring in such things as weather delays, etc. We had been given a start date but didn't learn until I contacted Imad and Kevin that the date had been pushed back due to delays on other projects. Again, completely understand that these delays happen - just would have liked to have been made aware (at least by the expected morning of) that our date was going to be pushed back. Once our project was underway, I felt communication from Chris was very good - I want to emphasize that my overall experience, even with this hiccup, was a positive one. It was great seeing the appearance of our house transform over the course of less than a week. I joked with one of the workmen that it now looks like a place people would want to live in on purpose! Before our project was even completed, I had already recommended Conrad to a friend - she ended up hiring them for her own project and was very satisfied with the results. The roof of our garage was recently damaged by a neighbor's tree following a storm, and we fully expect to hire Conrad to handle its replacement once the insurance comes through. I absolutely would be glad to hire Conrad again and am pleased to be able to unequivocally recommend them to anyone.

    Avalon Building Concepts
We called Avalon because we are down the street from them, they are in the community, and we read the reviews. We were prepping for the sale of our home and wanted to update our curb appeal. The sales representative came in, they were friendly, personable and knowledgeable, they did not steer us away from what we wanted towards a higher price point. The window and door installers were absolutely great. Stephen was wonderful to work with, super polite and clean up was great. Our negative marks in this review come from the siding installer. We had issues with dented wraps and some of the wraps not passing our home inspection. When paying for a contractor this is not anything I would expect. We love the way the home looks and it has helped us sell the home in 5 days of listing it.

Contractor's work was excellent! Paid attention to detail and stayed within quoted budget.  When additional work was needed to be performed that was not anticipated, he was fair with the price and performed the work to the highest standards in the industry.

Andrew was good to work with. Came out for a quote on roofing. Offer to repair our siding as well included in the quote for the roof. Roof was completed in 1 1/2 days. Siding repair turned out great, considering it was an aluminum piece that is obsolete. They repaired the damaged piece and re hung it for me. Looks great. Roof looks great too. Was happy with the experience throughout.
