    Wanted to leave a great review for the team at Cascade Hospital for Animals! Today our pup Sparky had his annual Senior Wellness checkup with Dr. Abel. Dr. Abel took great care to exam our senior pup and spent time discussing his chronic health conditions as well as creating a plan for his continuing care. The entire staff we worked with during the appointment were great! They showed great compassion for our pup and his health needs. We were comfortable that our pup was in good hands and will continue to use Cascade Hospital for Animals as the only vet practice for our pup!

    I only have one complaint about AMCW.....I should have taken my two dogs there from their puppy hood. I have had no bad experiences there. From the front desk staff, to the doctors, to the nurses and vet techs, to the groomers, everyone has been very nice and welcoming. Dr. Jackie and groomer Jessica are absolutely lovely ladies and I appreciate the care they give my furkids. I would highly recommend bringing your pets to AMCW for any and all of their needs.

    I have been to AMC multiple times over the last 2+ years. I have NEVER had a problem with any aspect of their service. This includes the initial phone call to the front desk staff to checking out in the end. I find the entire staff to be very friendly and efficient. The clinical staff cannot be beat in knowledge and expertise. As a result, I have my dogs groomed and boarded at AMC.

    I will not be taking my pets there. I know both current and past employees, and while the staff practices good medicine, has up to date technology, are educated, and seem to genuinely care for your pets, the owners/head vets (Coffman/Rushlow) are money hungry and do not treat their staff well, which has a trickle-down affect on the rest of the staff and organization as a whole. According to a current Licensed Vet Tech who has worked there for a long time, is one of the department heads and works under them, Coffman/Rushlow will overcharge and sometimes even do unnecessary charges to make more money. This LVT has expressed discomfort with having to tell clients their pet needs something when they don't and does not like to be a part of this. The other vets (Gira, Jenison, and Shingledecker) do NOT do this. Coffman/Rushlow also encourage both front and back staff to try and make as much money as possible. The turnover rate for their front staff has been exceedingly high - five people have either been let go or have quit without giving their two-week notice in the last year. Which also means new people are constantly being trained up front, so expect long waits in person and over the phone during those times. Owners/management no longer provide their staff with added benefits such as pet insurance and have cut back their employee discounts. Staff is expected to attend after hours work events (evenings, weekends) while not getting paid. Most staff feel undervalued, under-appreciated, unstable in their position, and because of being constantly short-staffed they are overworked and stressed out, and your visits and pet's care may be affected due to those reasons. While it is not a bad place to take your pet per se, for example your pet would definitely receive good care under Dr.���s Gira, Jenison, and Shingledecker, as well as the support staff, I personally would NOT recommend supporting an organization with poor ownership/management, which in turn may have an adverse affect on your pet's healthcare.

    We often shrug off the suggestion of dental care for our dog, but it was absolutely unavoidable this time around. I was slightly frustrated that when I asked for an estimate, the receptionist couldn't even give me a ball park figure, and I was left to wonder how much it was going to cost as I left my dog in their care. Additional lab tests were done to ensure her blood levels were back to normal, and these were not waived, even though the vet wanted them done, and I was not requesting them. So there was extra money spent that stung a little more. But as far as her care, I felt the vet did a great job. Dr. Saldiva is great and she knows how to handle our pup.

    "Maggie" hops right out of the car & heads for the boarding area. Amy is wonderful from the call to schedule to drop off to pick up. There's a nice double gated lawn for the dogs to play & a baby pool to cool off. Very reasonable rates & great care.

    I have pet insurance. I have been going to them ever since I have had my dog so, about five years. What I like most are the doctors and the people. They are all good. The doctors are good. My pet doesn't like going there, like any other dog. Like a child, you know, they don't want to get a shot. I can get a same day appointment.

    We were then told that if we could come up with the $51 that would be the only way they would help our animal and that we would on top of that probably need hundred and fifty for x-rays to see if he even ate that metal pan or just hurt himself in a different manner. I understand they need to get paid and I understand that there's other people out there who haven't but this gentleman seems to me more worried about the money then he was about the animal and that's what a veterinarian really should be concerned with is the animal not the dollar. My first visit was much better but at that time I had the money . So it is this reason that I will never go back there again.

    They come out on a weekly basis & do an awesome job. I've never had to go behind them have clean up missed dog messes or mow again. They are very friendly & punctual. I always get an email letting me know if they have to come on a different day of the week. I've been using K-9 Yard Maintenence for over 5 years now have am grateful I found them! I recommend them to everyone who has a dog & a yard!

    Went very, very well. Was nervous, first time I ever had any of my dogs to a groomer. Used to do it myself. But not able to do everything now. Was very happy how LeAnna handled my Ireland and the grooming and haircut were soooo very cute, just what I had wanted. And Ireland seemed very relaxed and calm when she was done. They were quick and did a super great job on my special girl. Will use them again if I need help with grooming. Ireland says thank you also!!!
