    Gerber Collision and Glass
Took car in on Monday, they said they would email the estimate by Tuesday. On Friday, after not getting any communication, went there. They said they thought the estimate had been sent, and printed off the estimate for me. Said it would be about 3 weeks before they could get to it. (Car was drivable, but without driver side mirror.). When we called after a couple weeks to get a firm date, the date given was another 3 weeks out. Wanted car brought in on Friday, but apparently didn't do anything on it until Monday. Called Monday afternoon to say there was more work to be done than they had previously thought. Car finished following Monday. Turned out the memory seats no longer worked. Brought car back, and later in the day they said they had to order a wiring harness. A week later we called to see if the wiring harness had come in, and nobody seemed to know if it had even been ordered. Car finally fixed about 2 1/2 months after initial contact.

After checking the OBD2 and getting the same results then started checking each cylinder. A mechanic found that the spark plugs I installed, even though the manual calls for the particular Bosch spark plugs that I bought at AutoZone for the Liberty, actually threaded too far into the cylinders and that some of the pistons struck the spark plugs closing the gap. The mechanic installed new, correct length spark plugs and the Jeep ran perfectly since.

    Complete Auto Glass
The office person was extremely helpful. I received a much lower cost for the job than any other place I called. I had an appointment within a couple days and it was done at my house. The technician was friendly and got right to work.

Great. Had a appt. Was called in a few minutes after arrival. Explained what work needed to be done. Explained the warranty and other details. Work was done in timely manner and I was pleased with their work. Very professional and attention to detail. Very happy with Safelite Auto Glass.

I bought a used car from a local dealership a few months ago. I took it in for some routine maintenance and also had the brakes inspected because they were occasionally squealing. They told me the brakes would need to be worked on soon and explained what needed to be done. I wasn't ready to afford that bill quite yet so pushed out repairs about a month. I have been looking for a non-dealership mechanic for a while and started asking around. I was referred to Christian Brothers by a friend so looked them up on Angie's List. All signs pointed to Christina Brothers so I called for an appt. (Plus, there was a 10% coupon) After taking my car to them, I learned nothing the dealership told me was what was actually wrong with my brakes. I am relieved I didn't have the work done at the dealership. The mechanic who called me to tell me what was going on with my brakes was very thorough with his explanation and gave me a quote and time frame for completion of the work. They drove me home in their courtesy shuttle and picked me up when the work was done. My car drives like it's brand new! Thank you so much for the excellent job!

    HOUSKAMP'S AUTO SVC LLC
They used an used strut assembly from a reputable salvage yard and allowed us to buy and bring in our own tie rod. Were very informative and did the work quickly. Very pleased! Anywhere else we looked for quotes made you replace both strut assemblies. Since Houskamp's offer the use of used parts we didn't have to dish out $800. I'm sure the time will come when they both will have to be replaced but that wasn't in our budget at the time so Housekamp's was a life saver.

Took me out into the garage to show me the gaskets and bolts the were totally rusted. Told me it would be about $100.00 if they could just repair them but also showed me 2 exhaust flex pipes that may have to be repaired depending on what they found when bolts were removed. those parts are not available as after market parts. ugg... 10 minutes later came is with a big smile to let me know they got the bolts and gaskets taken care of and didn't need the other parts. They did tell me that these would need replaced at some point but not right now. Could not be happier with the service they provided. to me today. Also witnessed them telling another customer (older lady) that she did not need brakes. She had just been at a local dealer and told she needed both front and back brakes immediately. They brought the brakes into her and explained to her how to see if they needed replaced. Put all 4 back on her car and told her to have a nice day. No charge.... Wish more companies had the same principles.

    THOMSONS AUTO REPAIR
As usual  all went well.  I had moved to the area a year ago and have been using Thomson's since then.   It was nice to find a repair shop that I felt I could trust. Very friendly.  Being a woman, you are not always listened to or treated with respect.  They even take the time to explain what you do not understand.   I got a different used car in January.  Since then they have been working on all the issues that I have found.  My car is running in tip top shape now.  One thing that I really like is their throughness to get to the real issue.  They fix only what is needed.  They do not "fix" what is not necessary.   This saves you money as well as the coupons they offer. Your vehicle is ready on time with the exception of a part delay.  And then they keep you informed. I would recommend Thomson's to everyone.

    Dykstra's Auto Service Airport
They said they were good at what they do but they missed some stuff in my car.  I ended up having to change 3 wheel bearings afterwards.  I have had to change four different things since I bought it.  I don't know maybe it wasn't there fault.
