  • The flapper in one of our toilets had deteriorated. Wasn't sure the one I had purchased was the correct one. Since I'm not a plumber, I didn't want to start monkeying around with it, and end up was a non-working toilet. We have used Countryside in the past, and they graciously worked us into their very busy schedule on the same day that I called. Thankfully, I had the right part. Dino had it installed in no time (trust me, it would not have gone in the right way if I had tried to do it!).

  • I enjoyed working with Joe and his team on this project.  The estimate was fair and the scope of work was well detailed.  The team offered various improvements throughout the project that were helpful in making this a fantastic bathroom.  The tile quality of work is amazing and the tile design work is awesome!  The team stayed on time and on budget.  They were very easy to work with and I would highly recommend them for any home renovation project.

  • I had a leak in a basement toilet and removed the toilet myself to fix the water damage on the wall. After removing toilet I noticed the toilet flange was lower than floor level and looked like the surface of the flange was bad. (I'm not a plumber). called A-fordable and the person answering the phone was very friendly and professional. They quoted a price and made appointment. The plumber called before coming and was experienced, polite, honest and fast. He said that the flange was not bad and he could re-install the toilet with double wax seal and it would be fine--he said if it were in his house he would not change the flange. He installed toilet, repaired the original leak, fixed one of my botched attempts to install a shut off and came in 75.00 less than quote! Great first experience with A-fordable!

  • Not good.  It was about, I think, a week and a half after I purchased it that they came out and it was a miscommunication I would say because when I read it online it was like they were going to replace valve in the toilet and do a inspection of the plumbing in your house, which I thought he would bring a flash light and check the pipes in the basement sort of thing.  He never offered to do any of that and when he came he came and worked on the toilet upstairs came downstairs and he said it's going to be like a $129 or something and I said I already paid the $39 online that this was for and he said he had to do extra work, he had put in some extra valve, or changed, I don't know what he did but he said he did something extra up there and he said he would take it down to a $100 for me because I wasn't expecting that.  I ended up paying that.  I wasn't happy with it because I thought the $39 was going to cover him coming out and then as he was leaving I said what about the house inspection?, he goes, oh yeah do you have any other problems?, and I said, well this sink leaks, you know, and I get this smell out of the bathtub.  He went and looked and he said well it needs a new valve in there and he never went down in the basement to look at why the bathtub smell is going on, so I wasn't too happy with the results of it but I don't think I got what I was expecting to get.  One other thing, I had called him out originally, I had taken the deal and called him out, because that toilet that I had him look at was making funny noises and I had to plunge it every other time that I would use it, I would have to plunge it.  He came out and said the funny noises were where the valves were replaced and the water going through would stop the noises.  It did stop the noises, it did not do anything, I still have to plunge it every other time I use it.

  • Things went great. Daniel arrived in the window of time they said he would arrive and got right to work. Daniel fixed our drip in the shower and explained everything to me. Couldn't have gone any better.

  • It was so refreshing to find a plumber who knew what he was doing, but didn't try to rip us off. He came in, looked at everything, made recommendations, and got everything done quickly and at a very fair price. Everything was very straightforward. We will definitely be calling Dino in the future.

  • Serviceman was polite and efficient, going about his task without distraction and completing it in a reasonable time.  He cleaned up and removed everything.  The utility room was cleaner when he left than when he arrived.  Overall, a great job.

  • Friday afternoon we suddenly did not have water. I clued several places, but nobody could come over until Monday morning (no water for the entire weekend).  Late Friday I called Robert Wyckoff, who then sent Glen Maglothin to check what was wrong.
    Glen explained the water pump needed to be replaced, other wise no water at all. The problem was that Glen was already schedule for the entire weekend, so the only option was to do it right away (it was after 6:00 PM already).
    Glen was very professional and worked very late on Friday evening until he finished the job.
    Thanks to Glen we had water Saturday and Sunday!

  • This is by far the best experience I have had with a service provider. The scheduler was very pleasant and efficient. Nick arrived as scheduled and was very professional yet friendly and he respected my home. When I explained what was going on he immediately suspected what the problem was and told me the potential outcomes. The trap had become completely filled with water and the furnace couldn't move the air, so the motor would cycle and then shut off. By the time Nick got there the motor was very hot and he was concerned that it had potentially burned out. That would have been a very expensive repair. Fortunately, Nick was able to clear out the lines and drain the trap. He gave me several other recommendations but he was not at all doing any high pressure sales. You know, I always worry when I have to hire someone for a repair. There have been several times when people have tried to pull fast ones on me. Nick very easily could have told me that the motor was burned out and charged me a lot of money to fix it. I never would have known. Thankfully, he was honest and performed only what was needed. This is my new AC company, hands down!!!
