    Kingsley Moving Systems LLC
The 4 guys that they sent were all wonderful. They were friendly, professional and made our move really smooth. I would definitely use Kingsley again. Shout out to Frank, Damien, Chris and Sterling. They worked like superhuman he-men! I couldn't keep up!

    Good Guys Moving Services
The move went flawlessly even though the temperature was a balmy -10 degrees at move start and only warmed up to -6 during the move.  Move was to have begun at 9:00 am but they called about 8:30 to say they had trouble starting the truck and had to pick up a mattress set at Sam's Club for a later delivery.  They arrived at 9:15 and promptly began to work.
I had many boxes of books, packed in too large of boxes.  The movers (both named Matt) didn't complain but quickly brought up hand carts to move the boxes.  They loaded the 32 foot truck quickly and efficiently, stacking the boxes no more than 4 or 5 high so the boxes wouldn't fall during transport.  They had plenty of furniture pads  and wrapped my mattress set so it would not get dirty.  My 42" plasma flat screen TV also received special handling and cushioning.  One thing I noticed was that they never made a trip to the truck without something to be moved in their hands.  They were very efficient and had no wasted motions.
They asked to follow me to the new home, about a half hour trip through town.  No problems there.  When we arrived, I went in to turn off the alarm and secure the cats.  When I came out, they had positioned the truck in the drive and had shoveled the 3 inches of snow from behind the truck to the garage as well as clearing the sidewalk to the front door.  I thanked them for doing that, and they said they were glad to do it as it was also for their safety as well as protecting my stuff.
The move inside went very well, with many boxes and furniture going down a steep stair to the basement.  Again, no complaints, but fast and efficient service using the hand trucks.  The movers even helped load a bed coming from the house into my stepdaughter's now ex-boyfriend's truck.
A very pleasant surprise came at the end of the move.  They only charged me for the actual time they were on the job sites, and didn't charge for driving the truck a half hour back to Lansing (unlike other moving companies in town had quoted).  They even prorated the last hour, charging me for only a half hour.  At $80 per hour, the 3.5 hour move only cost $280.  Well worth it in my mind, considering all the stairs to be navigated.
No items were broken or even scratched during the move.  I had spoken to Gus, the superviso,r a couple of times to set up the move and he was very helpful and a no-pressure kind of guy.
Overall, I was extremely happy with the move and would definitely use them again.  Any guys that can keep in good spirits and work so efficiently in bitterly cold temperatures deserves repeat business!

    Your Friends - Moving Services
This is my third professional move, and was by far the best. We are a family of six and have a lot of stuff! A week before my move they called me to confirm the timing. The morning of the move they arrived on time and before they started, they asked me to show them the house. I walked through the entire house pointing out specifics about what needed to move and they were very attentive. They dressed professionally and right away I could tell there was a real focus on customer service that you don't find with many companies anymore. They worked very hard and quickly the whole day. They finished unloading the truck and I could tell after 11 hours of non-stop packing, loading, and unloading they were ready to call it a day, but they took the time to ensure everything was done correctly and offered to help with the unpacking. They were very careful with all of my furniture and boxes, and protected the floors with runners. That Monday at work everyone asked me how the move went and I couldn't say enough good things about You're Friends Moving. I would highly recommend. Very good customer service and very good price.

    Two Men & A Truck
I had used this company many years ago and found their service to be satisfactory.  Now contemplating a long distance move, and seeing their good ratings on Angie's List, I called them a week ago.  The rep took lengthy notes on all I wanted moved and came up with a sight-unseen estimate of $16,000.  I was incredulous!   The items consist essentially of a washer, dryer, refrigerator, 2 curio cabinets, a few small side tables, and multiple boxes.  No beds, no sofas, no chairs, nothing heavy except those items mentioned.   The telephone rep set up an appointment for an estimator to come to my home today to actually see the items being moved and give a more accurate esstimate.   I did not contact any other companies for estimates, because I wanted to see what this comany had to say, so a week went by.   A phone call at 12 noon today came from the original rep asking a bunch more questions and confirming that the second fellow would be here at 1:30.  A few minutes later he called again, saying in essence that they could not compete with other companies on a long-distance move--in other words--"go find somebody else".  This would all be fine and dandy if he had told me this a week ago.  I have wasted a full week when I could have been finding another company and getting estimates from someone who actually wanted my business.  They wasted my time and my energy; to me this was very unprofessional and discourteous.

I was very happy with the work they did. They moved everything without damage. They very efficiently and successfully reset up everything once they got it over to my new house.
